Port Allen High School

Basically just know this. You have one free fight every 2 semesters thats puts you in detention for 5 days, so use it wisely.

(Before we go into this… I know my spelling and grammar is horrible) In my experience in being a Port Allen High School student, I have seen a variety of unapproved behavior first hand. Both by students (but who cares about the students of PAHS?) teachers, administrators, parents and other faculty. While PAHS holds favorable of the sports and practical activity just like much of downstream America, it has failed me and many other students for years. The lack of opportunity, student participation, school spirit, drive, and over all moxy of this school is by far proving a not so safe environment of students interested in any alternative career. There is for sure a lack of diversity. Only the basics are provided to students. Those who wish to be successful members of society must look outside of PAHS and grab onto other schools as inspiration. There is a fair amount of favoritism, ageism, sexism, progression of rape culture (look it up it's real), and underestimation of femininity. This school openly seeks out every student's own individuality and finds it better suited in nearby Plant work… The lack of support for student at ever turn is astounding. Teachers openly ignore failing students and leaves them trembling infancy for the wolves to raise as their own… then, as time progresses they are deemed failures of the social norms. However, where was their support Port Allen High? Where was the equal opportunity given to these students? Surely not with you… This school is not at all about teaching students how to be successful members of society. This school is about checking off boxes for the Department of Education. This school is about teaching a test, gaining higher numbers, higher test scores, higher rankings and such. This school has given up on its community long ago… it has let go of its artistry and its drive and I don’t blame them. We are all members of our failing society… I only wish I went to a school determined to defy the social norms and actually TEACH me and my fellow students. Well done Port Allen High… you have proven that just like everyone else in the world you don’t care...

Umm, idk what that 1st person is talking about but, this school is the worst ever. i triped and fell and sayed the F word ,and got 8 days in school suspension ! stupid . Don't take your chil hear ... EVER!!!! and kenisha , mind yo business!!
