EBRPL - River Center Branch Library

A branch of the Parish library system, the River Center provides excellent resources to parish residents for free with a library card. Highly recommened.

UPDATE: The EBRPL remains an award winning system. They are always adding services and events to educate and entertain.

Beautiful state of the art facility! The staff is courteous and helpful. I enjoyed the view of the city from the 4th floor terrace. There seemed to be a lot of people sleeping and charging their phones which didn't bother me - they were quiet and not disruptive.

Wow. What a first rate community asset for Baton Rouge

It's shiny and new, fresh and very big-city modern! What's not to love about this new downtown Baton Rouge library? The architecture is definitely different and stands apart from all the surrounding downtown buildings, businesses and industry. You can visit the rooftop terrace which has some great views of the North Blvd Town Square. Enjoy the landscaping on the rooftop terrace - it adds to the peacefulness of the area and obviously is conducive to sitting there and getting lost in a good book!

I go there for their Makerspace and badging classes. The staff are amazing and they provide excellent tools and resources to help you become well equipped to use their equipment. They have a recording studio, cnc machine, 3d printer, cricut, sewing machine, Arduinos, heat press, and button maker. I highly recommend it.

Amazing space! Lots of computers, librarians, 📚 and FABULOUS OUTDOOR TERRACE with sweeping views of the city and the Mississippi River! Definitely not to be missed. Go at night for extra dazzle
