Food was great, we were greeted quickly and courteously by our server. Quiet place but good food that comes out quickly. It's a little pricey for what you get, but I didn't mind due to the service. The photo is the roast beef poboy

I was in town for 2 weeks on business and found this little gem. I loved it so much I came to eat here 4 times. The food was outstanding! If you save room for dessert, just try them all because they are all good.

Hands down the best blackened catfish I ever tasted and that NOLA BBQ shrimp was amazing! I was in town for a few weeks on a business trip and tried to eat a meal here every day because the food and service was just so dang good!

How have I not given this place five stars yet? Have been going for years. I’m kind of a food snob, after working in restaurants with questionable food quality, so I do not eat just anywhere. This place has superior ingredients and great service. Made to perfection every time.

We luckily ran across this place right before getting on I 10 west heading home on Sunday after thanksgiving. We will go out of way to go next time we go east. Great food and service
Our waitress patiently helped we 2 seniors choose from the menu and checked back twice to make sure we liked it.

I ate there twice on vacation. A great hidden jewel in West Baton Rouge. Had a home style breakfast / cajun brunch. Had lunch there the day before. Great catfish with etoufee. I'll be back.

Great little hole in the wall local restaurant as we traveled from Little Rock to New Orleans. Nice family friendly eclectic atmosphere. My whole family enjoyed it. And we all have different tastes.

This place surprised me. Ordered the Catfish Acadian with crawfish ettoufee. I thought it was going to be mediocre but very good. Catfish was very tender and flavorful. Kudos to the Rasta chef in the back. Definitely would recommend and return to try another dish.

The food is very tasty. The service is good but they can get very busy at peak times making it tough to find a parking spot.

Wonderful atmosphere, staff, and food. This small town cafe is definitely a place to visit. As a patron of 10+ years, I must say that theres not been a meal served to me that I would rate lower than 5 stars. If I were an impatient, needy, and/or rude customer, I still wouldn’t be able to give a low review, because this place really does hit the spot every time!

Relaxed friendly atmosphere with good service and comfort food. I had the grilled cheese and gumbo with a side of sweet potato fries, it ended up being more food than I could eat! I guess everyone's idea of a dinner sized meal varies a bit :). It just means I'll have gumbo and some fries for lunch tomorrow. Very crowded during my visit and everyone seemed happy and welcoming.

I ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. No instant potatoes here. The fresh mashed potatoes were outstanding! The hamburger steak and brown gravy was the best I’ve tasted since my moms. Keep up the good work guys

Great little place to eat. Very clean, inviting atmosphere, ample seating.
They have a bar that seats 8 also.
They only had 2 girls waiting tables, so it was sometimes hard to ge their attention if you needed anything. They were hustling the WHOLE time, so it wasn't like they were lazy. They were simply overworked. Food came out nice and hot and was delicious. Only 1 block off the main street, so easy to get to. Parking lot was very small, so if they get busy, that might be an issue.

The food was really good. We'd had the crawfish queso along with the crab cakes for appetizers and both were superb. For my entree, I had the catfish acadian and it was amazing. The filet was a lot larger than I was expecting and they don't hold back the crawfish that's in the gravy. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I have enjoyed lunch here several times. The Friday special was fried catfish, delicious! Good hamburger steak, chicken fried steak, club sandwiches and awesome fried pickles. Staff is super nice and very attentive.

The baked potato soup is delicious. The salad are a great size. Service was quick and they let us have dinner in peace (not hovering and interupting conversation). When we needed something they were attentive and helpful
