Great Pharmacy

I have always use this Walgreens but I called the 1st week in January to get the meds. I need an they was out of stock. Found a generic brand at a different store but ran into trouble with insurance. Since it was delayed that long I decided to check with Walgreens again today for the original meds. Instead of the generic & they refused to tell me if they had the medicine I needed in stock because it is a control substance & I had switched the prescription to a different pharmacy. So I decided to switch the prescription back to them & guess what they tell me? THEY STILL DON'T HAVE IT IN STOCK. at this point I really want to cuss them out because I could've stayed with the one that had the generic brand instead of being told they out of stock of the original AND THEY DON'T HAVE A GENERIC BRAND FOR THE MEDS.

Would give zero stars if that was an option. Negative experience about 90% of the times I've had the misfortune to go to this pharmacy. Very slow service, generally don't care employees. They act as if customers are bothering them by actually wanting their prescriptions...prescriptions that Walgreens called and said were ready for pick-up. Takes a ridiculously long time to get your meds. Trying to transfer my business to another pharmacy-not another Walgreens-and they are not being cooperative. Bottom line is that you'd be better off going elsewhere.

Would also give a zero rating if possible.Waited on hold for 40 min., I'm not kidding at all, and hung up cause no one ever answered. Also, they never filled my medicine because they needed some info but never even bothered calling to tell me...so now I still don't have my medicine and I have to wait an extra day for docs office to open so I can have script transferred.

VERY long wait times for pharmacy. Can sometimes get the correct prescription. I'm usually treated like an inconvenience. Never going to walgreens again.

Unprofessional, randomly closes pharmacy, pharmacy phone never connects (it hangs up on you), long waits despite having 8-10 pharmacists, they never have the medication ready on time, they argue about your medication, and they look annoyed that you’re there. Go somewhere else. Don’t waste your time.

If I could give zero stars I would this pharmacy is the worst in Louisiana
