Willard Barber Shop

Took my son in with my dad today to get a real barbershop haircut, his first in a long time. John did an excellent job and said we "made his day" when I told him Jake wanted his long hair buzzed off. My dad has been going to John for a while now, and does a great job on his hair, and now my son will be going in from now on too. The conversation is great, I'm not made to feel like an intruder in an "all men's place", and the prices are very reasonable. I grew up just 10 minutes SE of Willard and attended school there, so that barber shop is a landmark in town. If any of you men and/or the men in your life, ladies, want a fantastic, no frills, haircut done the old school way, I highly recommend John.

Best place in Willard to get long hairs turned into short hairs. The conversations are worth much more than what the haircut costs.

A great small town barber at an affordable price. This shop used to be owned by a different owner and I didn't care to much for it then. However, now that John owns it, I love it. He's efficent and like every good barber, a fun guy to talk with. I would recommend this barber shop if you are looking for a haircut.

If your barber is busy, he must be good! You may have to wait unless you get there early, but John is worth the wait. Enjoy some local conversation and watch a little Andy Griffin while you wait.

Best place for a perfect cut. I've been to all the big places in Springfield and paid twice as much for half the job. This guy knows what he is doing and makes it affordable.

By far the best place to get a haircut around John has been cutting my hair for three years four years possibly he cut my kids hair he is absolutely amazing very skilled the environment is perfect everybody is always smiling you always feel welcome thank you John I am a lifetime customer
