Carolina National Golf Club

Played here on Nov 1 and the course was in great shape. We had beautiful weather and had a great time.
Played Egret and Heron.
I've played here many times over the years and this is one of my favorite Brunswick County courses.

I don't give many 5 star reviews, but from the time we arrived on the property we were treated with professionalism and courtesy. The course is very user friendly with well groomed fairways and firm, fast and consistent greens. The price is extremely fair, especially when compared to other courses that are not as nice as this. We will be back!!

Great day on the course. Staff is so welcoming and awesome. The best staff around. Just wish they had a junior rate took my 8 and 5 year old there to golf 18 holes and was charged the adult rate for both. That is my only issue there.

Beautiful golf course with lots of unique holes throughout the 18. I played the Egret and Herron courses. Fairways and rough were in perfect condition and the greens were growing back nicely after being aerified. Best value in the area. Highly recommended!

Very nice people. Greens sprayed with green ferilizer. Kind of flat and no grain. Getting tbem ready for aspiring i guess. Fairways not overseeded and plenty of truck tracks in them from the fertilizng. Still a great course.

This was my first experience playing Carolina National I was very impressed. The course was in exceptional shape Greens were premier true and consistent just to my liking. The staff was friendly as soon as you drop your bag I highly recommend this course especially the layout and the well manicure of the course.

Awesome!! Only played 18 of the 27 holes due to weather but the course was well maintained from tees to greens and in great shape in addition to the scenery. They have even added ice machines at bath houses. We’ll be back!

Beautifully designed Fred Couples course. Every hole introduced a new picturesque backdrop and even more challenging play.

I’m a local and finally played this course for the first time last weekend. What a pleasure, it was in beautiful shape particularly in comparison to some of the other local courses. It challenges you a bit but we were rewarded with consistent greens and wide fairways. Can’t wait to hit it again. Cart paths need some work but I’m there to play golf not joyride

Friendly staff, nice course, nice practice area, drive, putt, chip. Restaurant is a solid choice as well

Great coarse! The people there treat you like VIPS. Played the Egret & Ibis 9s 6/9/22 & they were in great shape. Pace of play was great 18 holes in less than 4 hrs. Will definitely be back.

My first time playing here but it definitely won’t be my last. This may be my favorite course down in this area. Everything about it was great. The pace of play was slow but it didn’t even bother me because every other aspect was so good. This course has the ability to be anything you want it to be with the 5 tee boxes. Perfect course for the long hitters but also great for people who don’t have the distance. The fairways rough and greens were in perfect shape. I would definitely recommend this course to anybody. Great job by the staff

Loved this golf course. Amazing layout the front nine is similar layout to the “plantation type” of courses throughout the South. The back nine WOW plenty of marsh and bridges coupled with wildlife and gators. It was an absolute pleasure to play this track. Very favorable rates for junior golfers too will keep me coming back !

Greens fast n firm. In good condition, for the rain they had. Always a favorite when we come down.

A challenging golf course with multiple tee layout to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. The greens were tricky but the ball seemed to roll nicely. I must say a premium is placed on accuracy of your shots as we found that it is easy to lose balls in the high Bermuda grass rough. I seemed that someone in our foursome lost a ball on every hole on Egret. Pace of play was good and the beer at the clubhouse was cold and the food was good. Enjoy.

Three nine-hole courses provide a variety of interest and challenge. All holes are very playable and some very picturesque.
Greens and fairways are in great shape when last played in October 2019.
Staff are always extremely friendly, restaurant serves a great lunch at a reasonable price.
One of the best courses in this area.

We play Carolina National quite frequently. Great layout. Looked at four holes by real estate agent and my husband said show me the lots. In really great shape right now.

Has some problems with cart paths but they are under new management and promise to address soon. Food is good. Nice bar after round.

Great course nice atmosphere

I love this course!! The 3-nine layout gives you unique challenges, amazing views, wildlife and fun to play. I would highly recommend this course for any level. I was fortunate to have Carolina National as my home course for years. I always go back and take my friends to enjoy this gem.

Challenging course in great shape with phenomenal greens. The staff was super friendly, pace of play not bad, and the course was a challenge, but still enjoyable for all skill levels; the greens were awesome, some of the best in the area, rolled true and fast!
