Pita Plate is an excellent Mediterranean family owned restaurant. Food is always good and owner goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Highly recommend for a nice meal.

We tried the falafel gyro and the chicken gyro, both are amazing!
And the cheesecakes were very good too!

Love the atmosphere and vibe. Nice quaint store with a friendly staff and great menu.

Food quality was great. Hummus was good, wraps were good.

What a great experience!

Only complaint (and minor one) but it bugs me a little when restaurants offer canned drinks for soda. Rationing out my soda over a great dinner creates too much stress for this southern boy.

Really enjoyed the food, vibe, and overall experience though.

Highly recommended! Visited for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised, the humus was absolutely delicious, one of my favorites hands down, we had the chicken gyro with fries and it was also very good! I saw that this place was awarded with best desserts in Morehead City, but unfortunately they didn’t have any at the time. Our server advised that they sell out very quickly, and to check periodically to see if they have them available. I will definitely be coming back to try some desserts, and more of their delicious food!

Amazing Mediterranean restaurant with great vegan and vegetarian options. I tried the kafta wrap and the meat was flavorful and delicious. The falafel was also very tasty!

This restaurant was a great find. We were on our way home from the beach and needed to find a vegan friendly place and so glad we found it. The food was absolutely delicious!

First time yesterday! Really enjoyed it. So glad that our small town has something authentic like this. Glad I found this gem. Interior is very nicely decorated and I will definitely return. I tried their mahi special, portion was large. Deliciously prepared!

I LOVED IT. Loved it. I'd been wanting to try this place since it opened and it did not disappoint! I've had Mediterranean food my whole life and their spanakopita is better than my family's recipe! My grandfather would have loved this place! And their falafel was so good I didn't even bother dipping it in anything. The rice was seasoned perfectly, gyro meat was perfect. I can't wait to come back again!

Outstanding place to eat. The atmosphere is very relaxing. This place is very clean and smells wonderful. The food is super great. I love the Kafta, Chicken, Beef and Vegetable kabobs. The salads are excellent and I really like the Tabouli salad. They have Gyros, Falafels, Greek Burgers, Hummus, and Kabobs.the owner is so very friendly, helpful and professional. She helped us select items and kept checking on us through out the dinner. They also have kid meals for kids 12 years old and younger. On the kids meals , Chicken strips and fries, grilled cheese pita and fries, hummus dip and veggies, and kids skewer platter (choice of a vegetable, beef, chicken, or kafta skewer with side of rice or fries. Overall it's a wonderful place to eat.

Yummy, fresh Mediterranean cuisine in a cozy spot. Vegetarian and vegan options are labelled - and there are a ton of choices! Try a sampler platter and get a little of everything. Our favorites were the spinach pie and the falafel. Service was excellent and friendly. Love the comfy seating, decor, and delicious food. Best place for vegans and vegetarians in the area, totally worth the drive from Emerald Isle. We'll be back soon!

This place was a little tricky for us to find ... tucked back in a shopping center, but so worth the effort. What a charming restaurant with incredible food! We're talking the best Gyros ever (and we've enjoyed Greek food for decades), wonderful Chicken Kabobs, Spanakopita, Grape Leaves (the delicious vegan kind), with top notch service to boot. Our server was Mystique, who added such warmth to our time there. She genuinely cared and helped us feel so comfortable. After the meal, we her asked about dessert, wondering of they sold Greek cookies. They don't, but it just so happened (after she checked with the owner) he had made some, so thanks to all we were able to get a walnut cookie and a date cookie, which were wonderful also. Hopefully they'll start selling Greek cookies too. Yum!

Wow! Had an amazing meal here the other day. Our waitress was so kind and the food far exceeded expectations (and my expectations were already high because of all the amazing reviews!) I got the chicken kabob and my husband got the gyro and both meals were perfect. Pictures do not do the food justice! We will be coming back for sure!

I loved it! Some of the freshest and healthiest food in the Crystal Coast, cooked and served perfectly, in a clean and comfortable environment. I will return and bring friends and family.

This place is a must!!!! Stopped on the way to the beach and the food is amazing! Healthy and delicious and a great price. The atmosphere is great music and cozy setting. The feta dip with watermelon was so so delicious. Per usual I have to see the restrooms and it was clean and well stocked.

Omg the cheesecakes here are better tasting, creamier, and more creatively put together than The Cheesecake Factory! Even the cheesecakes from days later after their Cheesecake tastings wasn't dry at all like some cheesecakes after being refrigerated. One of the people that works there is super nice and friendly too! My husband and I had a great convo with her. I had to go to Morehead City for a medical appointment and if you ever get sent down that way for med appts, check this place out! Their Spanakopita, homemade tzatziki, ice cold Lebanese beer, falafel bites and fattoush salad are also the bomb diggity👍

Great place for an upscale lunch or dinner. Prepared to order with lots of options available. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Excellent food and friendly service. I got the lamb Gyro and spanakopita 👍 Also grabbed amaretto cheesecake to go. If your into Greek give it a try.
