La Petite Academy of Kirkland

We love La Petite! Finding good, trustworthy care is not easy, and I am so grateful we found this center. The teachers are kind, patient and caring and always finding new ways to adapt and accommodate my daughter with autism. The director Ann is also fantastic, and runs the center extremely well. My daughter LOVES coming to school and most days she doesn’t even want to leave! I consider La Petite apart of my village, and we are very happy here.

We recently toured La Petit Academy in Kirkland, and I am beyond impressed. From the moment we stepped in, it was evident that this isn't just a daycare; it's a haven for nurturing young minds. A special shoutout to Meg and Cara, who were instrumental in guiding us through this new parenting journey. Their depth of knowledge about the daycare program and child development is unparalleled. They not only shared insights about the program but also offered invaluable advice on child development stages. What struck me the most was their genuine care and dedication; there was no hint of sales pressure, just pure, heartfelt guidance. Now, with my daughter eagerly awaiting her summer start at La Petit Academy, I can't help but feel immense gratitude for finding such a gem in Kirkland. Highly recommended for parents seeking a nurturing environment for their little ones.

My child attended summer camp here and it was amazing. The new director and teachers rock. The class accommodated our special need and child had great time in classroom, on the beach, in the pool and park and library, making friends with several. The price is unbeatable. Wish there would be more parking space but overall it's a good dc .

Our family has been at La Petite Academy in Kirkland since 2014. We have consistently been happy with the education and care our children receive, especially so since 2018 with the current director and leadership. The platforms used to communicate with parents are very effective and we always know what is going on at the school and with our kids. The activities planned for our children are inventive and engaging, even during the challenges posed by the 2020 year. Teachers have worked to create a wonderful summer camp experience for our kids focused on science, social studies, physical education and building. We couldn’t be more grateful for our community at La Petite.

Our daughters have been going to La Petite in Kirkland since March of 2012 and we couldn't be happier. Both girls love spending time with their teachers and classmates. We are very pleased with how attentive and caring all of the teachers are. My youngest started when she was 9 months old and became very attached to Miss Kimmy in the infant room. My oldest started in the Toddler 2 room and was very eager to partake in the daily curriculum and activities. I love seeing what projects the girls work on weekly. The playground is very clean and up to date with modern play equipment where both girls spend time outside playing and getting the wiggles out. Some people might think you can’t get quality care at a large daycare facility but La Petite Academy is different. I would recommend La Petite Academy to anyone who is looking for a top notch quality daycare with teachers who take a genuine interest in your child. You will not be disappointed!

Definitely recommend this day care. My kid goes to the toddler room and he likes every bit of it. The teachers in the room are very good with the kids. We've had no complaints but only good things to say about them. In particular I'd like to call out Miss. Nicole who loves kids. When my kid started here, we were a little anxious since we had had bad experience with a previous daycare, however Miss. Nicole ensured our my kid adjusted well and quickly.

The facility is big and there's lots of toys for the kids to play with. The teachers organise many activities for the kids to do, and weather permitting the kids are even taken out in an enclosed space for them to go play and have fun. No external food is permitted at the facility for allergy reasons, but the do accommodate your dietary requests if say you don't want meat to be served to your kid. They are even considerate when sometimes we've picked up my kid late.

Overall, until now, this has been a wonderful daycare for us to send our kid to, and I would recommend this to a friend.

Edit: I missed the best part. Updates about the kid like when he was checked in and out, what he ate and how much, pictures/videos of kids having fun, when and how much they napped are sent out on a mobile app which we find super helpful.

Both of my kids have been going to La Petite for 3 years. From the first day I dropped them off, I knew it was a great place full of amazing, caring people! I have nothing but great things to say about this facility and their staff. They are truly dedicated to the safety, well being, and educational/social growth of every child. I would recommend them to everyone! Thank you for being wonderful!

La Petit has wonderful teachers and I love that parents can always monitor their kids through the live video app. My daughter loves it here and always excited to see her friends. Highly recommend!

The people at La Petite have always been amazingly kind to my family. Everyone at the center knows every kid by name, and they always greet the families with a giant smile and upbeat attitude. Their summer camp was so much fun for our son last year that we didn't hesitate to send him back this summer (though Covid understandably eliminated the frequent field trips, he is still having a blast).

My nephew went here over a year ago and that is how I found out about La Petite. My son has been attending there for a little less then a year, I love having him here. The staff members are so nice and if I or Tammy have questions/concerns there is no hesitation to speak to each other. I'm glad to have chosen La Petite for childcare for my 10 y/o. The hours are perfect and they are able to transport my son to his school which is really important for my son & I!

We started my daughter at La Petite when she was an infant 5 years ago and moved her to another location due to the way the facility was being run. Fast forward to now and it is a completely different world. My kindergartener and now my two year old both attend. The center has stayed open throughout the entire pandemic and due to the stringent guidelines both the teachers and students have followed, they have been free of any coronavirus incidents. They have also been open through the snow events. Megan Price, the director, has been awesome to work with and really cares about the children. I really like that they are open most days of the year and even some of the school holidays - they truly are a reliable source for childcare. They also have a very informative app they use and the ability to see your children live on their cameras throughout the day. The only thing I would recommend is more programming brought into the school (which has happened on occasion).

We enrolled in a local montessori school prior to La Petite Academy in Kirkland and had a terrible experience there. We were thrilled when we heard we could get our 8 month old into the infant room. Ms. Kimmy has 28 years of experience with infants, and our daughter took to her right away. She didn't even cry the first day I dropped her off at La Petite. Our daughter has since moved to the toddler room and is truly thriving. We feel that the curriculum, attention from the teachers, and daily activities are top notch. We feel so comfortable having our daughter there. We know that the teachers truly love and care for our daughter. She is all smiles at drop off and pick up. We feel so lucky to have found La Petite Academy, and would highly recommend it.

I can’t say enough good things about La Petite and the teachers. They are wonderful! My son has been going there for over a year and I am thankfully we got a spot. During the pandemic, they take so many precautions and have safety procedures in place. On top of that, they provide a great place for my 7 year old to go where he can learn and be h a small group of children. The teacher helps them with their remote schoolwork and homework. If you are looking for a place for your kid, I would definitely recommend giving them a call.

Both my boys love La Petite. First my younger son went there as my older went to his elementary school. When my younger son got home, he would brag about his day. So my older son kept begging me to go, so I'm finally able to work and now both can go there. They will enjoy the friends, activities, and I LOVE that La Petite is based from a STEM academic level. Can't wait to see what they do this summer!

We have been to three daycare facilities in the last year and La Petite has been by far the best. Their curriculum for kids is awesome and their cleanliness is top notch. Staff is great and very loving to our daughter. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for daycare.

A terrific daycare that cares for kids, their safety and well being. My son has attended for the last 5 years and started as a baby. Their curriculum and activities for the kids is great, and the teachers there are very warm and caring! Highly recommended!

This letter is in regard to your La Petite Academy branch located at 11440 Northeast 116th Street Kirkland, WA 98034. We currently have our two children enrolled at the faciltiy and have had a long tenure spanning a littler over 6 years. We just wanted to highlight to you a few of the individuals that have made our overall experience positive and one that we would recommend to other families looking for child care learning institutions.

During the first few years the management of this facility was reorganized which was much needed based on our experience with the past manager of the Kirkland branch. Since the new management chages(s), Tammy has done a good job at ensuring the safety and education of the students. As with all businesses, in management there are decisions to be made and everyone is expected to achieve the company's goals. It is my experience that Tammy appears to do a very good job balancing these objectives and providing a fun atmosphere for the kids.

Within any organization a manager much be surrounded by an exceptional team in order for any business to be continually successful. Sometimes finding and keeping the right employees can be the hardest part of the job. High employee turover typically leads to dissatisfied parents in this business. There have been several teachers that have shown outstanding commitment to the childrena and it has been my experience that they represent the company's mission statment to the fullest. Without these dedicated individuals we probably would have moved our children to another child care learning center years ago. The following people have been employed at this facility for a long duration and we wanted to specifically share with you the positive impact that they have provided to our children and continued support to La Petite Academy: (listed in no specific order): Amelia, Kimmy, Kim Anh, Delia, Maria, Khayla, Rabia, Helena, Judy, Tatiana, Dorothy and Nicole.

These individuals exemplify what is needed in this atmosphere and we encourage you to let them know as we have, how much they are appreciated and valued as educational role models for our two children and all the children at La Petite. There are other teachers at La Petite in Kirkland that are wonderful role models as well, however these specific ones have positively impacted our children's lives and we have witnessed first-hand the extaordinary time and efforts they've made to entertain and teach the children. I believe their key to success is that they truly love children and they have the patience and determination to want to help them learn, not just babysit.
