Union Cross Park

This is a great park for most anyone. It’s very clean and the grounds are well kept. There are baseball fields, basketball courts, a walking track(gravel), volleyball, playground, pavilion, horseshoes and more. Kids love the play area, and there are nice climbing trees near the walking path to entertain them as well. Bathrooms are clean and feel safe compared to other county/city parks. I’ve never visited when it’s crowded. Highly recommend to local families.

It's a very nice, clean park. Lots to do. Sand pit, that's a walk way, a roofed picnic area, playground, beach volleyball, basketball court, & more. 👍👍

This is an extremely clean well taken care of park.

They have a great walking track with about half of it shaded by trees.
It seems like a safe place.

Nice, spacious park with a playground, picnic area, walking track, basketball court, and tennis area. It is rarely busy and great for a quick run/walk.

Big park with many things to do. Today was a hot day of summer but we decided to make a grill. It's good that it has a roofed area but there are not many. It has baseball , tennis and basketball courts, among other things. A park for little kids, and a huge building in the middle of everything.

Great place to walk around, gi for a casual bike ride, shoot some hoops, play some tennis, swing on the swings or play on the playground, and of course play Baseball or softball. Its also got a great spot for a large group picnic with a sand volleyball court near by.

Always peaceful and quiet! A great place to get your steps in! The scenery is pretty and adds to the experience.

Excellent park with a great history of military use in the 50's to the early 70's

I needed a place to park the trailer while connecting with a friend. They had a big empty parking lot. It worked out fine. Park looked pretty, clean and well maintained. No signs of public abuse of the facilities. They must be a good neighborhood.

Nice little park. When our kids were younger we used to take them to the playground here and let them play on nice days. My wife and I walked the track quite often on nice evenings. Played tennis with friends a couple times and even had a company softball game there.

Using the walking track. It is 1700' per lap and has an elevation change however minor. It is composed of gravel dust some packed and some areas loose. There are both serious walkers and some that seem to be passing the time. It is not crowded in the morning. There is a playground and softball field. Plenty of parking. FYI, half the track is shaded.

Nice park! I was very impressed with how well-maintained it was. Fresh mulch around all trees, sand was raked on the playground and volleyball court, the horseshoe pits were nice, and the walking track was easy to run or walk on. Trash cans and recycling bins around with bags for dog waste as well. Nice playground, picnic shelter, baseball fields (2), tennis courts and plenty of parking with handicapped spots.

Nice park for playing or walking. There are several trees around the playground so usually have some shade. The swings are in sand, which I don't like, but my kids love.

My family loves this park! It has so much: a gravel track, baseball/softball fields, tennis courts with pickleball lines, playground equipment, a basketball court, sand hills, an open field, and shelters. It's clean, uncrowded, and well-taken care of. The employees are always around if you need anything and pretty much everyone is always kind and respectful.

My 6yr old grandson really likes it. They have a really nice playground but what he likes most is the fact they have a very large pile of sand beside the playground. He loves to take his sand toys and play there for hours.
