McDonald's

This is definitely one of the nicest McDonalds I’ve ever been in! The food was flawless, hot and perfect in accuracy. The staff was amazing (4:30 crew today) and they deserve credit. My daughter and I had a great time and I wish every McDonald’s could be as high quality as this one is.

We were glad that the food was hot and didn't have that "Old oil" taste. The only thing was that they did not check the order prior to giving it to us. We had to go back and get french fries that they forgot.

I have a place on the island, but I do not live here. EVERYONE IS ALWAYS SO VERY NICE, AND KIND AT THIS MCDONALDS. I APPRECIATE THE CURIOSITY FROM ALL TBE EMPLOYEES. ❤

Great place. Fast service. And the food was actually fresh compared to most mcdonalds.

If u order at this location using a certain mobile app code you may be surprised and not even have a order at all...
So my husband and I go for breakfast this morning (as we do every Sat morning same location), we give the person our mobile code the employee takes our order.... And poof that quick we get to the window to pay and nothing "No order no nothing" and the employee doesn't remember anything at all, the order, the code, the name on the mobile order NOTHING!!!
So the manager comes to the window trying to figure out what happened and proceeded to retake our order through the drive-thru window... (just so it's known, the code for the deal was " buy 1 breakfast sandwiche get second breakfast sandwich for $1.00")... As my husband tells her what we ordered and the deal she states to us that "Oh that's what happened the steak egg and cheese bagel isn't included in that deal"... And I'm telling you now if u go on the app for that location and pick that deal right under use this deal it's a spot that says "items included" and if u tap that you will see the steak egg and cheese bagel on that "included items list" for that specific location... So they need to honor the deal or change it on the app... So FYI if u order and they don't accept the deal they just delet your whole order without letting you know as you order (SORRY WE CAN'T USE THIS DEAL AT THIS LOCATION, WOULD YOU LIKE TO USE A DIFFERENT ONE????) Instead we had no order at all once we pulled up to pay... All that could of simply been avoided... Another thing you have to literally ask for your receipt here or you WiLL NOT BE ASKED IF YOU'D LIKE YOUR RECEIPT NOR WILL YOU RECEIVE ONE... And some more advice always make sure you have your full order before leaving window or you'll get home and not have all your order and no receipt and find yourself SOL!!!! We've paid for the "ghost items" to many times and didn't even know it...

We stopped in tonight and had the most friendly service we've ever experienced at a McDonald's. It was a busy Saturday night and the counter person (Audrey) was so friendly and knowledgeable about the Ronald McDonald House, we rounded up! Great job Audrey!

Lobby was busy when we first arrived, however we didn't wait long to order especiallyfor a Saturday mid morning. Food came out fast and FRESH! We were both very impressed with the freshness of our breakfast 😋 Tasted great and hit the spot! Bathrooms were clean and so was dining area! Great experience all together!

I want in my sandwich on a tortilla

I assured her it was possible
And she agreed
She put it on a tortilla
It was perfect.

The lunch rush line was all the way out pass the nearby stop lights, it took me a total of 15 from stopping at the light to getting my food, incredibly efficient service and staff member looked happy to see me despite me just being another face in the crowd. Great job 👍

The ladies at the window was so nice.
I work night shift its so nice to see a happy face when your getting your coffee after a long shift. Thank you ladies

I'm sitting in the drive through waiting on my food but just the service alone deserves 5 stars. I'm not sure of the name of the lady that was at the first drive through window but she is the most friendly person I have ever come across at a fast food place. Her voice was very cheerful even for being almost midnight.

I was so happy to see the dinning room open & clean. After spending a few hours at the local water park it was nice to order food from great customer service & grab a seat in air conditioning to relax at a table that was clean. Not just the table was clean but the chairs windows floors & the bathrooms had been well kept. We could see all the surfaces were cleaned & this location was well managed from what I saw on this short visit. (& that's something I don't say in reviews) We enjoyed our meal & the customer care that was provided by this McDonald's!!!

Much better than the Swansboro McD's

I love this McDonald's! They never mess up my coffee like the one in Swansboro does. It never failed every time I try to get my large iced caramel coffee from the Swansboro location the kids they have in there working it seems like all the time never do it the right way. Yet the Cape Carteret McDonald's gets it right every time because it's not difficult at all lol they're just a lot more pleasant here and do their jobs better in my opinion lol keep up the good work, y'all rock!

It has been a while since I received hot fresh food from McDonalds, however the one I visited in Swansboro did not disappoint.

Ate here with my son. He said his burger was better than our hometown restaurant's. I ordered chicken tenders. I did not like the chicken at all. I told them that and they gave me a new meal right away and they were very nice about it. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly.

Hot, fast food every time. They even get special requests correct! Long lines in the drive thru move quickly so don't let that discourage you.

The one girl working window two very rude hates her job and then gives customers attitudes if you don't like your job find a new one,but on the other hand the lady working the third window made up for it was very respectful,apologetic about the other lady at window two was very helpful with the questions I asked and answered them professionally.i will return as a customer because of her.

Phenomenal service. I usually eat at mom and pop restaurants. However, the service and freshness of my food was exemplary! Way to go McDonalds team and thanks for the fast and friendly service!
