I had a wonderful experience with the gentleman who works here. He went above and beyond to copy the key for my car. Reasonably priced for his work. Highly recommend to anyone needing new keys cut.

I own a beach rental in Emerald Isle, and today I had to call every owner dreads that the electronic lock was not working. I am three hours away and the guest is standing there in the heat trying to get in the house. I called these guys and no kidding, they are out there in 20 minutes with the guest inside the house. I could absolutely never ask for a better response than I got today, they really came through in a very difficult circumstance. The price was very fair as well. I would highly recommend not just this company, but the technician who went out there named.Trevan. Five stars by every measure!

A-1 is just that, A1. Excellent service and sound advice. Won't work with any other locksmith.

Saved me over $350. Ford wanted 350 to get a new car key and $185 to cut and program. A1 cut program and new key for $50. Good people’s there.

A-1 Action services was recommended by a Morehead hardware store because the hardware store did not have the blank keys I needed. A-1 had every blank key I needed and made the copies quickly after I arrived! They are extremely nice and helpful. They have plenty of items in the store for those in a bind at a good price. I’ll be back and recommend to everyone. Every town needs the service these guys are providing; at a decent price and with a friendly attitude!

This guy is awesome, and told me different ways to save money on getting a replacement key for my truck! The dealership I called didn't even do that! He was super joyful and pleasant to talk to. When he got there he was fast and knew what he was doing. Highly recommend, even got a couple of his business cards to give to friends.

This locksmith was great! We recently bought a van and on vacation couldn’t get the doors unlocked with the fob. After a quick call they were able to help us find the emergency key that we had no idea existed! They easily could have charged us to get into the car and make a key for us but helped us out with their knowledge for free instead! If in the area and in need again, they will be the first to call as they have earned it through honesty.

He had our business doors up and working in less than an hour from the call to fixed! He explained he doesn't really deal with sliding glass commercial door, but he still had it fixed so we could lock our doors before we closed. Great service and knowledge. We keep his number on file now for future incident.

I was referred to this service by the service writer at the Chevrolet dealership in Morehead City, NC. It was a golden reference. Roger Cann answered the phone immediately, gave me instructions on how so save more than a hundred dollars on his service. When I called back, Roger was, again, available and forthcoming. He responded promptly to my call, came promptly to my home, generated the smart (transponder) keys I needed, and required a very fair payment. I was then able to return to work for about half of the work day.

My deadbolt had broken. They showed up and explained how it broke, that it was an easy fix and fixed it right up fast, and even helped fix my keyplate to help the deadbolt lock and unlock smoother, all in all friendly guy, good service, know who am calling for lock issues now.

I used A-1 quite a bit at my former job and he's always quick to respond to messages and phone calls. Roger is a hard worker and wastes no time getting the job done. Best locksmith in the county in my opinion, hands down.

I moved into my first home in Atlantic Beach back in 2011. Roger at A-1 still was in his old location on the mainland. He came and rekeyed all the locks. I have since bought 3 buildings, all residential. I used him for all of them. A-1 does excellent work. The locks work smoothly and dependably.
