Absolutely the best wine store in the county and beyond. Jen and Bret are friendly, knowledgeable and just overall wonderful people. Don't be fooled by the small store. They also carry a small but well curated selection of mixers, tools, hard to find vermouth, canned wine and cocktails, cheese and paella goodies and doodads.

Had my 1st experience with this wonderful wine store this afternoon. Selection is absolutely incredible and the owners are extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and provide suggestions, all with a smile. If you're looking for the big mainstream wines, this is the wrong place to be, But the right place to be if you're willing to branch out and experience some wonderful wine selections from the old world where the greatest wines were 1st discovered.

Update. Ive made a return trip and acquired a lovely tempranillo at a lovely price, as well as discovering an amazing Amarone for a third of what a restaurant charges. These folks are killing it. Even found a sparkling Lambrusco that my wife is enjoying right now.

Hands down, the BEST wine store in the area. Excellent selection and owners Brett and Jen are so incredibly knowledgeable about the products they sell. They also have a wonderful array of gourmet cheeses, gifts, and cigars as well. Simply a can't miss shop on the Crystal Coast.

Having such knowledgable (and nice!) people at the helm of a wine store is a rare find, and here you have the best! Aside from their technical credentials - which in and of itself tells you you’ve come to the right place - Jen & Brett understand the art and beauty of wine as it’s meant to be enjoyed. On top of all that, they know more about organic, natural and sustainable wines than probably any purveyor in the country.

Jen and Brett are always SUPER helpful when you step in the door, and they do it with a big smile on their faces! Wether it's just a quick pickup for a dinner bottle, finding a gift for a friend, or choosing the right pairing with a dish they are super knowledgeable and take the time to help you out! They even have virtual wine tasting classes, just join their email list for the details! I love how they have seating outdoors, it's great on a calm coastal day! I highly recommend MF Chappell for all of your wine (and more) needs!

This is a fantastic wine store. The owners, Jen and Brett, are wonderful people, they want to get to know your likes and dislikes, and will make every attempt to personalize a perfect wine to your preferences. This is such a wonderful addition to our island community. I highly recommend stopping in!

Every square inch of this pint-sized powerhouse is full of incredible products. The purveyors, Brett & Jen, are welcoming and full of knowledge to steer you to the right bottle every time, at every price point. There’s canned wine for the boat and a magnum of bubbly for the big celebration. They also have a ton of organic wine, which help me feel better the next day;) Chappell’s also started selling amazing gourmet cheeses, things you can’t find anywhere on the Crystal Coast, which go well with the big array of gluten-free products. I can already tell I’m going to be a regular here!

Came across this charming wine store in PKS North Carolina. Good selection of both hard to find boutique wines and mainstays from around the globe. Owners Jenn and Brett are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and willing to guide you in selecting the perfect wine for any occassion or pairing. Recommended!

Was looking for a specific red burgundy. Having their inventory online help me to identify the wine I was looking for hundreds of miles away. Upon calling the owner, who volunteered his cell phone number. He offered to open 30 minutes early so I could drive back with these needed bottles as soon as possible. Service doesn’t get better than that. The owner also as a high accreditation with the the Court of Master Sommeliers. I know where I’m doing my beach wine shopping from now on.

Brett and Jen really know their wine. I went in to get a few bottles of wine for an open house I did in Beaufort NC at 305 Front Street(it's still for sale as of 6/19/2020) and a bottle for my friends 30th Birthday. Brett told me to tel my friend to open the bottle, pour a little in a glass and let the bottle sit for a couple hours and then enjoy. My friend was so impressed. Also, Jen recommended some great white wines to have at my open house . She also recommended white just in case any was spilt on the furniture it wouldn't be RED! They know how to to pari wines with food you are cooking as well. Go see them!

Great vendor to work with! Shipping was fast, product arrived promptly, and the issue I did have was dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. Vendor was very communicative, volunteering helpful information and contacting me through email and telephone to resolve the issue. Would most certainly recommend!

The wines on offer here are not the cookie cutter selection you frequently find. The owners are very knowledgeable and will help you pick the perfect wine for your dinner, party or event.

No place better to stock up on excellent wine and gourmet items. Locally owned by a couple who know their stuff. Their knowledge of wine is unmatched on the Crystal Coast.

Amazing place with a lot of character. The Chappells know their wine, are as bubbly as their Prosecco and sweet as the rose. Great store for wine in the area.

Friendly owner..had what I was looking for and I had been looking at various stores with no luck for the wine i needed for my recipe.

Found this gem during a long weekend at the beach and could not have been more pleased! The owners are great, incredibly knowledgeable, and I left with the perfect selection. This will be my FIRST stop when I come back in town.
