I am 20 weeks pregnant and went to the ER for severe abdominal pain. They were so quick to get me a room and an ultrasound to find out I needed to have my gallbladder removed. Everyone was so kind and explained everything so thoroughly. I arrived at 9:30am and by 5pm I had the surgery. I was in the MED SURGE unit Red 2 and my night nurses Melissa and Nicole were beyond exceptional. Not only were they constantly checking on me throughout the night but they were so much fun and I couldn't stop laughing despite just having surgery! They even set my mom up in the chair next to my bed with a pillow and blanket and brought her water as well. My surgeon was Dr. Dasari and she was also exceptional. She was so kind and put all of my fears of going into surgery while pregnant at ease. Everyone here really listened to me and I have never had better care in my life. Thank you so much to the whole staff for everything you did for me and my momma!

The care I received from Evergreen Emergency in Kirkland was exceptional. The nursing staff quickly and kindly prepped me upon being admitted. And at a time when I was feeling extremely scared and vulnerable, the professional, thoughtful attention of Dr. Austin Gross and Dr. Jason Talavera as they examined, evaluated, and explained their recommendations helped me navigate my overwhelm. My follow-up care with Dr. Talavera was so supportive. I appreciate how, every step of the way, I was treated with clarity and compassion. My deep thanks to all at Evergreen who provide such wonderful health care every day.

Too bad so many of these negative reviews relate to medical billing issues. Who likes getting medical bills right ? Ever seen a positive medical billing review? Exactly, which is why I think Evergreen Health Kirkland deserves another star if we carve out a category that has no chance of receiving positive reviews (billing) and score strictly on patient care.

With that said, I am leaving a 5 star non billing service review from my 4 night stay in their orthopedic in- patient care center. All but one nurse or nurse technician here deserved 5 stars which is why I'm leaving 5 stars. A special shout out to Sydney, Roselin, Angela, Michelle, Vasily (V) who absolutely rock at their jobs and really show a passion for patient care. When you all apply for admission into competitive nursing schools, I hope this review is considered in their selection process. Hear me nursing schools? We don't just need more nurses, we need more passionate nurses who go above and beyond and I'm naming 5 for you here to help you out. Just keep in mind how many other applications you get include a 5 star patient review is all im saying.

A very special shout out to Kathy and Doug (PT) who bring the energy and really drive the fun culture here. I can see why the techs enjoy working here. Hear me Evergreen Kirkland upper management? You have the kind of work culture here employer's strive for (as one myself).

Food was average but plenty of selection, fruit great quality. The lady who takes orders and delivers food with the short hair and glasses (super sorry forgot your name) is really nice and helpful also deserves a shout out too.

Facilities are nice, nurse techs quick to assist with anything you need, like having a personal concierge right outside. I almost felt bad how often I needed a hand, but the same cheery face would pop in eager to help each time.

And that's my 4 night stay 5 star review at Evergreen Health Kirkland 's all inclusive resort minus a pool, open bar and time share presentation.

Husband had surgery here. What an amazing crew he had from beginning to end. He spent the night and all the staff went above and beyond caring for him.

My Mother (95) broke her knee cap. She spent a couple of days on Silver 7th floor in a 24 hour watch room. So much thanks to Talisha, Alondra and Dana. They made her stay best as possible.

I would like to leave a review for an individual I saw yesterday in the Evergreen Hospital Emergency Room. My mother had fallen and was taken to the ER by ambulance. She had a very bad cut on her leg which required stitches and 16 staples. One of the aids was Gavynn. He was incredibly warm and personable and very efficient. He taught me how to do wound care and dressing. He made our stay there pretty easy. I really appreciated how friendly he was.

No hospital is perfect but, I myself have been to Evergreen a few times and I personally think the staff is pretty good plus the Doctors and nurses. Making appointments are easy and they communicate very well. I did have an issues at UC, the wait time was crazy and the Doctor? was a jerk. Happens at times but, that was just one time. The clinic in Redmond, Town Center is run pretty well also. I'm not going anywhere else because I don't think anymore else is any better. My take..

Well Im no expert at reviewing hospitals but I have to say I don't think it gets better than this. I was seen promptly after coming in around midnight because of a sharp pain in my gut(appendicitis). Every Doctor, nurse, and assistant I talked to was extremely friendly, and helpful (ask for Katrina, she was funny and eased my concerns). The only thing that sucks is that they can't feed me or give me water until my surgery is over....it's probably for the best. 10/10

It has come to my attention that my primary care physician has decided to shift the emphasis of her remarkable talent to those in the Veteran's Care sector. While it undoubtedly comes as a loss to me personally I am overjoyed for my courageous brethren & sisters in uniform for their good fortune. There aren't sufficient stars in the universe let alone the meager 5 offered to measure this doctor's contribution to her art. I salute her skill-set, but most of all her basic humanity & compassion for anyone fortunate enough to receive her dedicated focus without parallel.
A Grateful Patient & humble veteran. Thank You Dr. Marissa Black M.D.

Today my wife had a Diverticulitis attack .We took her to the Emergency room and were treated with kindness ,care and compassion. It was a scary situation but the Doctor was top notch . He also had a great bedside manor and wasted no time . He is the same Doctor who stitched up my wife's had several years back and our VIP doctor said he had never seen that good of a stitch. My wife also was seen by Dr Hanson when she had a 104 temp a few years ago and he also knew exactly what to do. I want to say especially thank you for the Doctor and the intake people and especially the RNs . I could go on and on . Eervergreen has been taking care of our family for many years and life happens but we are so thankful today . Top notch medical care .The focus here is on the patient. Cant thank you enough.

I took my grandma to the emergency department on July 19th, she ended up being admitted to the hospital until the 22nd.

My experiences are anecdotal but it wasn't a particularly busy day so my grandma was seen pretty quickly. While down in the ER she was seen by Dr Isackson and Dr Connor, both had a solid bedside manner and seemed extremely competent. The stars of this whole experience are the nurses though, because they spend more time with the patients they kind of color the experience more. I cannot remember the name of every nurse, or it never came up, but nurse David was extremely friendly and engaging. Apparently he's the IV king. There was an older nurse, I wish I had caught his name, but he really humored my old grandma quite a bit and that was a great way to keep her distracted while she had various procedures/tests going on. As the first day turned towards evening nurse Rio came into my grandma's room down in the ER. Like her colleagues, she was also super engaging, but she was also maybe the most on the ball nurse I've ever witnessed. She was like the John Wick of nursing. So quick, so efficient.

My grandma was admitted to the hospital late in the evening and the room was super nice compared to what I remember of hospitals, but admittedly I haven't been in one for quite a while.

The next day my grandma was cared for mainly by nurses Cathy and Kaela, and they were awesome too. They'd listen to my grandma say the same things over and over again and they were so kind to her. I'd almost say my grandma was actually having fun while staying there. I think nurse Kaela was running around saying "teehee" a lot too... could be mistaken, but whoever's teeheeing on 4th floor silver, it's a vibe.

Throughout the day various people came in to draw blood, take food orders, bring in the food, and then there was an occupational therapist. Not a single person was anything less than professional, and everyone was super friendly.

I had to go to the ER in the middle of the night. From Tyler checking me in, to Doctor JR stitching me up, it was a great experience. Such nice, calm stay. Thanks Evergreen!

Went in to ER with high blood pressure. And was eventually admitted in. Can’t say more about the staff in ICU. Especially RN Darryl and Janette. Super friendly and kept my hopes up while I was going through the rough patch.
Most of the staff in general seemed cool, helpful and knowledgeable. Not sure why there’s so many 1 stars.

Nothing but a wonderful experience at Evergreen! We started working with maternal fetal medicine department at week 20 of our pregnancy - all their staff was great, but Dr Wall was an absolute star for us. He has an incredible ability to make you feel heard, ease your concerns, and empower you along the way. We unfortunately had a complication at week 37 of our pregnancy and had to be induced early. Although not what we were hoping for, we had a great obgyn, Dr Schocket, who answered our endless questions and made herself available to ease our concerns in the frantic days beforehand. The birth and labor team was fantastic - Sabel, Anna, and Jen were superstar nurses who made that chaotic experience a joyful one. The postpartum recovery and clinic nurses were also fantastic. My husband and I keep recounting our overall experience and how grateful we are for all the medical professionals we crossed paths with. In our 48 hour stay for birth and recovery, there must have been 20 different specialists, nurses, and/or doctors we interacted with - every single one was kind, thoughtful, and empathetic. We are forever grateful for the care we received over the last 6 months.

My girlfriend was recently at Evergreen hospital for a surgery requiring her to stay multiple days. Everyone from pre operation to post operation was extremely attentive, caring, thoughtful, and informative. I had to ask many staff members of different job duties for directions and advice, all of them were extremely helpful and supportive. The cafeteria at the hospital was amazing. Special shout out to Dr. Srikanth, and Lauren the nurse on the 8th floor. Without people like you I would have been more worried than I already was, but I knew she was in great hands.

Had the best doctors and the best day and night nurse. It’s been a rough 2 years for healthcare workers but both my doctor and nurses did not show it. They were all smiles and cheerful. Only negative thing I would say is that there system doesnt show some of my lab results to uw medical. Oh and the food lady is super nice and very helpful.

Emergency room was very busy but staff was very efficient and friendly and the nurses and doctor were amazing. They took great care of my son who was injured at work during an armed robbery. We are blessed to have them close by.

Great rooms. Kind and helpful staff. Parking garage is free (as of 1/25/19, anyway). The patient meals are very good. I am an active big guy and I simply asked about getting enough portion to eat. They fixed me up with plenty to eat and I found it very tasty. I was impressed and I have experienced several different hospitals within the past twenty years. Kudos to the kitchen staff. It all makes the hospital stay more bearable and makes me feel better.

My pregnant wife was admitted two weeks early due to complications. We stayed a few nights in the birthing ward and we're then housed upstairs by the NICU, where post-cesarean mothers are housed.

Every room and every shift nurse was spectacular save the one that ended delivery (just not as good as the rest)!

They were very attentive and accommodating. The doctors were all great and straightforward. After a 12 day stay, we saw every ON on the team.

What I was very pleased with was the food. We had our pick off of the menu at every meal. I was not surprised by this as I spent 39 days in the AIR six years ago and my meal options were the same. We could actually see my old room from across the 'courtyard '!

This was the best place to give birth in the area, perhaps the state! No complaints. A shout out to nurses Jackie and Christie! You two stood out among the other great nurses (who also did a great job).

The labor prep class (birthing class) was stupendous and prepared is as much as you can prepare for something so profound. The after-care lactation consultant was SO helpful and instructive!

A WONDERFUL experience we look forward to having again, soon!
