Summary: superb coffee, fun atmosphere, great place to chill yourself or with some friends or family!

I got a plain latte, as I usually do and it was exceptionally tasty- bold and smooth.

I stumbled on this place on the way home from a family outing and thought I’d treat everyone to a fun experience- and fun it was!

You pay a fee to get in the 3 rooms where the cats are and you must chill and pet them as they come up to you. There’s little toys if you want to try to entice them to play.

I highly recommend going here, even if you only like coffee- there’s plenty of seating away from the cats, with a book area and a table.

My family knows I’m not normally a cat fan, but I had a good time!
All in all it was a great experience and we’ll certainly be back soon- me mainly for the coffee, my family mainly for the cats.

Amazing staff and coffee. The cats are clearly very loved and very well taken care of! Love that they have rules in place for the safety and wellbeing of the cats. Shows how much they take caring for the cats seriously. Was very cheap compared to other cat cafes. Me and my friend can't wait to return next Thursday! Highlight of my week.

We stopped by Cool Beans to spend some time with the kitties. They are all rescues and available for adoption. I had a Carmel macchiato that was pretty good. The cats were a bit timid, but happy to play with you. There are lots of toys around for you to engage with the cats. A few were cuddlier than others.

Cool Beans has a very relaxed energy and the decor is quaint and cute. It is clear the kitties are all well taken care of. I would totally recommend this cafe to all cat lovers!

Just found this place today and I’m in love! Friendly service, the coffee is pretty tasty as well and all the cats are so cute! I expected some to not be as friendly but they were all very nice and cuddly. There was a couple that would follow you and sit in your lap, I forgot his name but the one addicted to whip cream was by far the best.

What an amazing shop! The coffee is fantastic!! I love the atmosphere and the decor. Back where the cats are is so much fun. They are doing amazing things to find these babies homes. Everyone of them are happy, heathy and well adjusted floofs! This is a must try in downtown Gastonia!

My boyfriend surprised me and took me here and it was the best day of my life! All of the cats are so sweet, calm and well cared for. Highly recommend! The staff was also extremely nice and helpful.

I took my 7 year old cat-obsessed son on a date here and he had the time of his life! The cats were so sweet and friendly, and it was a fun new experience that I didn’t expect to find in Gastonia. Good coffee too.

What a wonderful place! I went there for the first time yesterday, and it was absolutely amazing!
The coffee was delicious, and the cats were adorable. One even came up to me and sat on me! Friendly staff, friendly cats, good coffee, this place has everything good in the world!

I have gotten coffee here twice and spent an hour each time in the cat rooms. It is divided into 3 sections that are fairly private, so if there are several groups you can spread out. The staff was friendly and the cats have always been fun, even the shy one that hid under the chair and kept trying to drag toys under with her.

I took my children to cool beans tonight and we all had a wonderful time. Will return. The woman running the place was very nice and the drinks were great. Such a nice place!

Live the atmosphere and the cute cats ans kittens there! My favorite beverage is the caramel Frappuccino. I highly recommend you try this place!

If you are here for books and coffee, it's absolutely fantastic! A nice quiet place to chill. If you are here for the cats, you came to the purrfect place! There are 3 rooms of cat snuggling/playing fun available. Yes, it smells like 8 cats live here. That's expected. You get used to it. It's fine. The cats here are so sweet, well taken care of, and just want to see what's up, with few exceptions. The ladies manning the front are always so sweet and patient while we dig through the amazing selection of cat stickers and have delicious drink recommendations for every taste. We have cats at home, and it is still one of our favorite places to go! Definitely recommend!

This place was pretty cool. My friends wanted to go and truthfully it's not something I'd get excited to do, but it doesn't cost much and it helps kitties find loving homes. I think it's great for people that can't have pets and also good therapy too. I have 3 sweet cats at home, so it was like sitting at home for me, but it was really nice and clean and cute. The lady up front was very friendly. Overall, I wouldn't mind spending $10 and am hour of my time here again.

Coffee was great and all the kittens were so friendly and playful. Would highly recommend going if you're looking for a new feline friend or if you just want to get your kitten fix.
