First off I am honestly shocked at some of these reviews!. Because my experiences was completely different. I have always had only positive experiences at this hospital even when I had to be admitted. I came into the ER 11/16/2023 and was seen immediately. The staff was super polite, & friendly. I ended up being admitted due to a blood clot in my lung. I was treated excellent by staff the entire time Drs , nurses, literally everyone I came in contact with. Everyone cared about my well being, & made sure I was comfortable at all times. So much so I truly wish I could do something special for all of them. They made a scary health experience better to get through. :-)

My brother was seen on the evening of February 28, 2024. Every staff member that we encountered was warm and gracious. I appreciate all that was done to ensure that my brother was taken care of. Thank you so much!

I came to the ER on Tuesday morning (10/17)...this was about 18 hours after I had gone to another ER in my own hometown and there had been NOTHING at all done for me...I had been very sick for 11 days up until then and I was told to just go home and keep doing what I had been doing. So I called my PCP and I was told to come to Caromont ER on Tuesday morning. I was honestly a lot anxious considering my experience the day before at another ER...BUT I quickly realized upon arriving at Caromont ER, there was no need for me to be anxious. I was immediately wheeled back to a room, nurses were already waiting to begin doing what they needed to do for me, and within 5-8 minutes the ER doctor came in to see and assess me. He immediately put orders in and the nurses immediately were doing everything so efficiently. I was in the ER approx. 6 hours before I was admitted upstairs to a room and I am just surprised at the amazing care I received the entire time I was in the ER...I have absolutely bragged to all of my family and friends. I am currently still hospitalized (Friday 10/20) and I have been so very well cared for by every member of the healthcare team here at CaroMont. This is my 2nd stay in the hospital here this year and I have been so impressed. I trust them with my life...I also know they took excellent care of my son in September when he was having some very serious issues that resulted in him being in ICU...so I trust them with my son's life. Great hospital !! The staff is so caring and kind. Heck, even the "little" things like food are "big" things when you are stuck in the hospital and I think the meals have been very tasty too.

I was discharged from CaroMont 4 weeks ago around noon after spending the night. I had a scheduled aquablation surgery the day before with Dr. Panuganti. Great hospital, great staff, great food, and very, very clean. 5th floor nurses Harold and Paige were particularly outstanding. All these negative reviews are baffling. This place is top notch.

I woke up in the hospital on Wednesday. I may have had a seizure, I wasn’t oriented, had altered consciousness. I don’t recall the ambulance ride or being admitted. However, once I came to, I still spent another day and night in the hospital before discharge. My care was compassionate and kind and I felt that I was treated the way I should be. Each doctor, nurse and care member to have contact with me was respectful and kind. I was treated with dignity, even though they couldn’t get straight answers out of me at first. They did CT scan, EEG and MRI in an attempt to find the cause of what happened. I feel confident that I wasn’t released until it was appropriate and that they took the right steps to try and treat me. I would put myself in their care again and feel confident.

Visited the ER and had a pleasant experience with no complaints. Dr. Moore was kind to me and explained everything easily and with compassion. All of the nurses and technicians were friendly and professional. They made me feel comfortable and put a smile on my face several times during my visit. Thank you to everyone who took care of me and showed genuine kindness during a scary time. Your positive demeanors and upbeat attitudes did not got unnoticed.

The nurses in the birthplace are hands down the best nurses I’ve ever encountered. The care the showed my daughter before, after and during her labor was amazing. They treated us so well and made sure she knew that they were there for her and the baby. Even the nurses who where there before she had the baby came back to see baby K the next day. To the whole staff on the Birthplace side Thank You for the care you showed my daughter and my grandchild.

I am so impressed with this hospital, I don't know where to begin! I have a daughter with severe autism who was here for a severe GI issue. They took excellent care of her! A CNA was with her 24/7. The nurses were wonderful. They were very kind and helpful when I called and never rushed me off the phone. The doctors kept me informed about my daughter's progress and what they were doing every single day. Dr. Averill was wonderfully.

Big thanks to all the caring staff who took care of my Grandmother during her Pacemaker implant. Some of my family were apprehensive due to low rating and bad reviews. I personally trained at this hospital and they are top notch, using latest equipment and therapy techniques. Remember the ones leaving bad reviews are complaining, good experiences aren’t always reported. Have faith in Jesus and know peace that you or loved one will be healed.

I’m new to NC and I have been to atrium and Novant and was not impressed. After my 5 day stay at CAROMONT I won’t go anywhere else for my medical needs. The staff treated me with respect, compassion, they were attentive. Efficient and kind. Their policies and procedures made my stay very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff.

I never write reviews, but I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible medical staff at this hospital. My grandmother spent over 3 weeks in this hospital. She was in the ICU for two weeks. During this time, we encountered the most amazing doctors, nurses, nurse techs, and even custodial staff. Everyone went above and beyond to treat my entire family like their own family. My grandmother was given the best care with doctors who were not only highly intelligent and compassionate, but also willing to try things and have hope even on the worst days. Dr. Musick and Dr. Jacob were phenomenal. All of the nurses were WONDERFUL, but Charley and Evie were standouts. When we moved to the 3rd floor for neuro, Bradley, a nurse tech with my grandmother, was truly a God-send. We also had the best group of physical therapists who were beyond patient and helped the doctors to see such improvement with my grandmother. We are still thanking God for His provision during such a difficult time for our family and my grandmother. This hospital - from the front desk staff to the various neurologists that worked with us - are the best. 🩷 As someone who has the worst “white coat syndrome” known to man - I can tell you that I felt such peace and comfort here. I never questioned the level of care or the fact that everyone here was treating my grandmother like they would want their family treated.

P.S. We were in the new part (4th floor) of this hospital for 2 weeks. It was unreal how nice it was. When we moved to the third floor (“old” part of hospital), the room was smaller but the care was no different! Everything was GREAT.

I just have to say that I'm so glad I had my surgery at Caromont Regional Medical Center. From the time I walked into the hospital, I was greeted with warm happy faces, professionalism and excellent staff. The pre-op nurses were on top of everything, funny and empathetic. The anesthesia team were just as professional and informative. The post-op care was just as great. I never had any concerns, always felt safe and cared for, even to the nutrition staff who brought very tasty food. I was very impressed with CRMC and if I ever have to go back, I KNOW I'm in excellent hands. Don't let some of the reviews scare you, this is a great place with professionally trained people in skills and compassion. Thank you, I'm healing nicely and just can't sing the praises enough for how well I was treated. I'm forever grateful for all the staff that took care of me from registration to nurses, to doctors and to the nutrition staff.

My trip to the Emergency room today was a very good experience. The hospital really can not help how many patients show up. Once in triage, they were polite and knowledgeable. Informative, also went over aftercare. Then I was sent on my way to make room for the next.

I have been in the hospital for a week now. Hopefully going home soon. I’ve been in the ED, the SICU and now on the 3rd floor. I have nothing but high praise for all who have been taking care of me! Every nurse, tech, therapist , to Kenny who comes to get you in the middle of the night for scans has went the extra mile make me feel respected and well take care of. I wish I could remember all of their names because they deserve to be honored for the jobs they do. I do remember a few names but if I don’t say your name just know you did great in caring for me and I remember your faces! I remember Fred, Tawanna, a couple Ashley’s and Ashton, Jessica, Ishmael, and one special nurse named Gloria who was so encouraging to me through her love for Jesus! I give all of these hard working and caring people beyond 5 stars. You all are amazing!

I was transported to CaroMont regional medical center. I have heard a lot of bad things about this hospital but I have to say the staff that I have and yes I say the staff that I have because I'm still here! The whole staff is amazing my room number is 6112 and everyone that came through that door to assist me was very professional, compassion, very knowledgeable about their job and had empathy for whatever you've going through. The doctors are amazing and they communicate with you so you can be aware of everything that they're doing for you and to you to make you well again. Today is sep1/2022 and this is my second day! And the employees that I encounter today are very professional sweet very knowledgeable and have empathy for you as a human being. I pray I don't get sick anymore but if I do this will be the hospital I come to.Thanks CaroMont Regional Medical Center for taking good care of me!
