Mayworth's Public House

Great cozy pub and restaurant in the picturesque town of Cramerton. We ordered the sloppy Joe, sliders, turkey BLT, and the salmon. All great. They also have a lot of local brews on tap. The atmosphere is dark, warm and inviting. Service was great. The parking situation out front can be a little bit of a challenge depending on the time you visit. There are other places to park, which might require a slight walk. That's great though while exploring some of the other shops around here small downtown area.

My wife and I were visiting Mt Holly to see family and old friends. About to make my annual visit to Super Walmart to pick up a dozen pounds of livermush (a regional treat like Scrapple) to bring back to Tampa. We decided to check out a place recommended in nearby Cramerton.

Late lunch, GPS took us there and parking right in front. Beautiful small town reminded me of my hometown. We were seated right away in a booth that turned out to be very special. Our great waitress Carmen brought drinks and menus.

My wife decided on the Sunday Special Meatloaf with fries, all covered in brown gravy. I chose the Sloppy Joseph with Queso and Jalapeños. There was a brass tag on the booth “Home of Charles and Monica Oliver” and we asked Carmen about it. Turns out the couple came in every day for many years and always sat in Booth 13. So the restaurant honored them with the tag. They have passed but their memory lingers. Awww.

Turns out Carmen had grown up in town and worked at Mayworths while in school. Then moved away but came back to where she loved. She also gave us a brief history of the town. She was so delightful, we wished we could adopt her as a granddaughter! We complimented the chef and she brought him out to meet us!

Excellent food, terrific service and what an atmosphere! Well worth a visit. Made us want to visit more small restaurants in small towns. More than a meal - an adventure! We will be back next trip up.

This place was off the chain. The atmosphere and vibe was very cozy. Food was amazing. The Cobb salad was plentiful and the shrimp tacos were delectable. The server was on his A game. I definitely recommend this place.

I loved it! The food and the service were great! I love the wooden booths too, and the bar was beautiful.

Great wings! There are several TVs for sports, a nice communal table by the bar (as well as bar seats) then a more dedicated dining room.

The wings were excellent (beesting & Carolina gold bbq) as were the sloppy joseph (joe) nachos.

The staff was super friendly and kept the beer and water glasses full. Nice selection of craft beer as well as domestics. Can't wait to return!

Bartender was awesome (sorry, I can't remember his name). Super personable and made the most delicious and beautiful white Russian I have ever had!

The atmosphere, staff and food was great. Our server, Trinity, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Wonderful service and meal.

We went to dinner just after 5 and by 6:10 the place was getting very busy. Go early.

It's never really had a problem with this place they definitely miss your extra sauces whenever you ask for extra sauce so just check your food whenever you get it but this place is really good got good food people are pretty nice I had to build your own mirror and sloppy Joe tater tots

First time visiting here, the staff was friendly and nice. 6 of us went, we had the Chicken Balsamica, it was delicious, my friend had a burger and said it was very good, cooked to your choice of done. My honestly the fries were off the hook, I couldn't stop eating them. Great atmosphere and cute little town of Cramerton. Also very close to a walking trail. Will definitely be back.

Mayworth is a great example of how a local town pub can really find their niche and excel what they do.

Offering a great lunch menu and a solid selection of local beer at a great price Mayworth's has been one of my go to spots for lunch and dinner in Cramerton.

Featuring your classic pub style menu, wings, build-your-own burgers and giant salads. There is simply something for whatever the craving.

Last time I was there I had their philly cheesesteak. Hands down it's one the best philly cheesesteaks I've ever had in the area.

Nonetheless eat like a local and go to Mayworth's

Great atmosphere, service and food! Wine selection was great too. I recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich... yummy! The cheesesteak is also excellent.

My husband and I enjoyed the patio with our pup this afternoon and really enjoyed ourselves! The drinks were good, the staff was friendly, and our food was tasty! We're already planning on going back.

Great place! Loved the food, and our server never missed a beat. It was a bit busy, but she never made us feel like she'd forgotten us or that she was too busy to serve us. It was our first time there and the food was delicious!! The GM Chris(?) Stopped by our table and made us feel absolutely welcomed. We will definitely be coming back.

Love this place...the sloppy Joseph fries are enough to share...I get it for my meal...everyone else's food was also Great...clean nice staff.

We have visited Mayworths on many occasions and have always had good service and food. Though they seem to always be busy, we typically never have a long wait long for a table.

We were going to go eat somewhere else but there was a Xmas parade and we couldn't get to it. Being new to the area we just got on Google maps and found Mayworth's and we are glad we did. The food was very good. I got the salmon and my husband got the pork loin. Both were tender, juicy and very flavorful. Both got the broccoli and baked potato which were perfectly cooked. We thought the prices were reasonable and we will return. The only thing negative, and it really wasn't that terrible, was it was a bit noisy. Update 12/14/2023: We had dinner tonight and I had the Dloppy Joe Mac and Cheese which was really good. My husband had the chicken Alfredo which he thoroughly enjoyed. Always a good place to have dinner.

This place is a hidden gem. Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere, and awesome service. It was my first visit and I will be returning soon.💚💚💚

This is my second time to Mayworth's in a week. Thursdays night special is ribs. They were nice and meaty and not quite fall off the bone. My wife got the Chicken Alfredo. Ask to be seated in Andrew's section
