Sub Station II - Gastonia

Sub Station 2 made party subs for a work celebration. We had several varieties, and they were all great. Our order was ready on time, boxed up nicely, and the condiments were on the side. Everyone was nice and helpful through ordering to pickup. The subs were delicious, and when they say a six foot sub feeds thirty people, they really mean it. I didn’t listen and ordered too much, but people were happy to take home the leftovers. I would definitely order from them again.

BEST SUBS, PERIOD! You totally earned me back. After the switchover in owners it took a little bit for them to find their footing. However now that I came back, the sandwiches and people are more like I remember. The meat and cheese slices are thick and the people are back to being friendly. I'm so glad that the new owner was able to get things in order! I mean look at this delicious sub!!! I'm glad you're back Sub Station, I'll be seeing you twice a week again 🥰

Truly have enjoyed every meal we've had delivered. I had the turkey cordon bleu on rye bread... Absolutely scrumptious!!!

Great place for a quick lunch and the daily specials are tasty and reasonably priced. Has been a nearly weekly staple of mine for a lunch under $10 for years.

The folks that work there are all excellent and friendly. They really put great care into making a great sandwich or wrap.

Their catering mega-subs are awesome! They were a big hit at the shop this week. Everybody loved it and we will definitely be back for more.

I was in there last week. I was greeted with smiles by all the staff. They were working very steadily. Once I got to the counter to order they apologized for the wait and thanked me for my patience. I did not mind waiting but I appreciated them thanking me. I returned the favor by thanking them for them working hard with a smile on their face and a great attitude. This is so rare in so many places so it was such a refreshing experience. The food was great and the staff was exceptional!

This is the best sub station in the state of North Carolina. I don’t go anywhere else to get subs. I travel for work and have tried over 50 different places for subs and hands down, this sub station is the best. I consider myself a bit of a sub connoisseur so trust me when I say this place is A+ service and food. All other restaurants should have trainings from their employees and management. They are so polite, kind, and efficient.
Bread is fluffy, warm and delicious
Meat is moist and flavorful
Sauces are always applied well and on point
Veggies are fresh and vibrant.
I don’t know what they’re doing back there but every time I get a sub from here it is *heavenly*

Really quick service for a 8 out of 10 sub. The only thing that would make these really stand out is if they had homemade bread! Other than that, I'll be a continuous customer in the future

This is one of the places that everyone I know has a good thing to say about.
I had weekly meetings here for some time, and keep it high on my list of places to eat lunch or meet friends and colleagues. The food is excellent and prepared fresh in front of you. The staff are somehow incredibly quick while maintaining friendly interactions.

Excellent submarine! Plenty of meat and topping. Fresh and flavorful. Great price. Very friendly and helpful staff. They appreciate veterans and law enforcement.

This place is fast, friendly & the food is very good. I've had several different subs & sandwiches and all have been great. Even the veggie sub is great. Can't go wrong here. Huge crowd at lunch but worth the short time yo get your food. I'd recommend.

The food here is wonderful. All of the lafila were extremely nice, even though it was very busy. We drove from Conover NC and stopped for a quick bite. Very clean, and we also met the Owner. He was so nice. I highly recommend it.

An absolute hidden gem. Being located in downtown Gastonia in a little strip mall makes this this place so easy to pass up or not consider, but every last bit of this place is great. The employees are always friendly and will banter with you and themselves making you feel like part of a community or family. Their bread is absolutely the freshest you will find from any sub shop anywhere. And they are affordable. So affordable and delicious in fact that we decided to have them cater our wedding. The woman who helped us decide how much to order and give us other information was amazing. I can't write enough about how good of a place this is for you or the family for lunch or for dinner.

I have been eating at this place for eighteen years. Its had the same owner who is very kind and has kept the food the same. It is my favorite sub shop. They slice your meat and cheese fresh for each sandwich. Subway doesn't come close to comparing.

Best cold cuts in town. Man, these guys have every other sub shop looking sub par. The employees are very kind and courteous. They opened up an umbrella outside, and brought water and a treat to our dogs.an easy 5 stars!

Girls where sweet and steak and cheese was delicious. First place I've went to that was worth the money. I asked for extra meat knowing how other place put nothing in them. The girl at register told me they put a lot of meat regularly ( saved me money). Glad I took her advice. Perfect sandwich guys. I have found my new sub place. Bye bye Subway and Belichinos!!😜😜😜

Thank you Sub station II for the great 50 person platter setup. Had plenty of sandwiches for the crew and the retiree was very satisfied. This was different for a change rather then pizza, Thank you for a well presented platters and all the fixings we will be back for more subs

The staff here is exceptionally friendly every time I visit. Substation II is a chain, but this location stands out from the rest. The food is delicious, and higher quality then what you'd get at competing chains.
