Lindsay Nelson: Allstate Insurance

Lindsay is a great to work with! She makes a very complicated situation simple and straightforward. Having recently been in a small car accident, I called Lindsay and almost immediately had a claim filed. She is always available to answer any questions that I have and makes the whole process a lot less intimidating. Would highly recommend Lindsay to anyone looking for a new insurance provider!

This Agent and Allstate puts the customer first. I switched my homeowners and auto insurance from Nationwide to Allstate to save money. I love Allstate accident forgiveness policy. A great team of people in Gastonia, NC.

Recomiendo que la llamen hoy por una quota, tiene una mujer que habla espanol tambien y eso es lo que me gusto porque muchos lugares de segurancia no tienen a alguien que hable espanol!

I was a fan of AllState until my agent didn’t return any of my calls about my insurance renewal or change in payments.

Did not have a good experience with All state at all. It was all good in the beginning but several months later my rates had went up and Lindsay didn’t reply my emails accordingly. Took about several weeks to get back to me and the office never answer the phone. Happy that the policy is cancelled now and switched to another carrier for a lower rate.

My insurance premium increased substantially so I requested of my agent, Lindsay, to understand why. Lindsay said she was unable to determine why my rates had changed and said she would seek the information from Allstate. After repeated requests to Lindsay to explain the rate increase, I was forced to call Allstate directly for explanation. Allstate explained the rate changes and said that Lindsay had full access to all of the same information and should have been able to explain the increases. I requested Allstate change my agent due to Lindsay's inability or unwillingness to provide basic explanations of the rate increase, but Allstate did not initiate this change and had no record of the request. As a result I have terminated my insurance with Allstate.

UPDATE: Within 24hrs of writing this review, Lindsay updated my policy premiums for the next 6 months by increasing the rates ~4.3% on all 5 of my vehicles. It is a good thing that I will not be renewing my insurance with Allstate and actually reduced my premiums 20% by switching to another insurance provider.

Very very disappointed! I upgraded to a newer vehicle previously driving a 2004 truck I had upgraded to a 2014 SUV the rates she quoted me were triple to quadruple what I was paying before I have a perfect driving record and I'm 55 years old I was absolutely blown away and she seemed extremely laissez-faire about the whole situation. I wound up going with Farmers Insurance and paying almost what I was paying for the 2004 truck. I later learned that Lindsay had left town without telling anybody and just locked her doors and left moving to Georgia or someplace. Very disappointed very unprofessional
