This is the best pancake house we have been to. It's number 1 in NC for a reason. Service is great, affordable, the food is absolutely delicious! Pancakes are so soft and fluffy. Hash brown casserole tastes like scalloped potatoes, so good! The corned beef hash, oh my, they roll it into an omelette shape, with a soft crisp on the outside. The bacon is real bacon! Not that cheap stuff. The food is not greasy, not cheaply made, just absolutely delicious. It will make you a breakfast snob. We kept going back every morning on our trip Absolutely a must stop! Can't wait to go back!

Love this place. Highly recommended. The old lady ( grandma) that greets you at the door is so friendly and so sweet. The service was great and the food was delicious. Loved the hashbrown. It was very creamy. We went during Christmas, the place was beautifully decorated and very inviting. We went very early during the holidays, didn't have to wait to be seated, but the restaurant was getting full.

This was our first time visiting Maggie Valley and eating at Joey's pancake House. Everything our waitress Jamie recommended or suggested was off the chart unbelievably delicious. Do yourself a favor and eat whatever Jamie suggests!! Her level of customer service and attention to detail far exceeded my expectations for a mom and pop little restaurant. You can tell they've been in business since 1966 because of the quality of their food and the staff that they have. Looking forward to coming back in April for some fly fishing and enjoying some amazing food with hopefully Jamie as our waitress. She went above and beyond to make my 6-year-old daughters day.

First time here the food was delicious just as we were told it was. This place came highly recommended on our day trip to Maggie Valley. There was a little bit of a wait. But that was to be expected. You really should try this place if you’re ever in the area. You won’t be sorry. But they close at 1 pm daily so make sure you go before then.

We stopped in on our way through town after leaving gatlinburg. There was only a 15 minute wait and it was well worth it! The employees are so happy and friendly and the atmosphere is great. Lanell is the lady making the wait list she’s very sweet and funny. Makes the wait a little more fun. Our server Bonnie was very good. She’s super sweet. The food was amazing! Hot chocolate was amazing as well!

Top 3 best breakfasts I've EVER had. The pancakes were light and airy yet burst flavor with every bite. We had the cinnamon bun pancakes...they are a must! The western hash brown casserole was also amazing. Even my egg whites were delicious. Wonderful environment and a friendly and attentive staff made our visit an absolute delight. 10 out of 10 will be back!

I've been going to Maggie Valley on vacation for a few years now and a stop at Joey's Pancake House is a MUST! Usually there's a wait, but it's oh so worth it!! Best pancakes around! The staff is always super nice and service has always been on point. I have a food allergy to red meat and they have been very accommodating. They have turkey sausage too!!

So glad we found this spot. Loved the pancakes and really appreciate the seating system they have. Even though it was busy they were able to keep the waits to a minimum.

Blueberry Pancakes are awesome! The Hash Brown Casserole is absolutely amazing. My mom enjoyed her Eggs Benedict special.

Located in downtown Maggie Valley, this breakfast joint is located right on Soco Rd. Be sure to plan for a long wait, especially on the weekends. Fortunately, they take your cell phone so you are able to walk down the street to the gift shops down the street while you wait. We went on a Sunday, and had about a 40 minute wait....totally worth the wait.

We stopped at Joey's Pancake House on our way to the Smokey Mountains. This is a wonderful little restaurant that has been in business since 1966. We ordered the pancakes, eggs and ham. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. This place is only open in the morning and from what I hear, there is always a crowd. If you are coming through Maggie Valley, make sure and stop here for breakfast.

Update: After 5+ years, we found ourselves once again at this restaurant. Nothing had changed. The food was still fantastic and the service superb. We ordered the bacon, eggs and pancakes with a side of grits this time. It was a great breakfast meal. Definitely with the stop one again.

Located on Soco Road in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, this breakfast/lunch restaurant is a long-standing establishment. Opened in 1966, this restaurant offers regular breakfast offerings like pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc. They have several options of specialty pancakes and waffles as well as omelettes. We had the 3 Golden Pancakes with 2 eggs and country ham and the Lemon Poppyseed Pancakes with blueberry topping and a side of bacon. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The lemon flavor was so fresh, and the blueberry topping was the perfect accompaniment. The eggs snd ham were great. We arrived right around 9 a.m. on a Monday in July and only waited 3-4 minutes for a table. The wait can get quite long here because of the popularity of this restaurant. We were told to expect a wait of an hour to hour and a half. The service was friendly and efficient. Ms. Loretta even joked/teased which added to our enjoyment.

We had a wonderful, late breakfast at Joey's! The food was amazing, but the highlight of our visit was our server Jeff!! He was so much fun! Jeff was friendly and attentive. We felt as if we'd known him forever!

He explained the specials to us, in wonderful detail, which made it even more difficult for us to decide on what to order! The menu is extensive. There were four of us and we ordered a little bit of everything! I shared the apple struedel pancakes. They were so, so good! The portions are huge, everything is cooked to order, so fresh and tasty!

The hashbrown casserole is the best I've ever eaten... trust me, you are going to have a tough time deciding what to order!

Our coffee cups were never empty which is huge if you are a coffee drinker! Jeff made sure we were happy, he's such a great guy! We hoped to make it back, but weren't able to... but, we will make a return visit on our next trip to Maggie Valley!!

I always read reviews when deciding where to eat. Joey's Pancake House is highly recommended. BELIEVE the hype! It's so worth the visit! Delicious food, reasonable prices, and the service is excellent. Everyone made us feel at home! It's worth the wait!

Super food for breakfast. We had great waiter, very attentive & busy with multiple tables, but appreciate the food, service & atmosphere.

Restrooms - not ADA compliant.

Expect a short to medium wait to get in, but worth the wait as the seasonal pancakes & corned beef hash are extra tasty.

So glad we stopped here for breakfast. The crew is a well oiled machine! This place stayed extremely busy but didn't let that effect service. The wait was short for a table, the food came quick and everything was delicious! The pancakes are so fluffy! I had the cinnamon bun pancakes and my husband had the pecan waffles.
