Carver's Maggie Valley Restaurant Since 1952

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The price is definitely great for the portions. Everything was delicious. The coffee was fresh and delicious as well. The potatoes are phenomenal! My picky 5 year old ate his entire plate for the first times ever!

First time stopping here and it was really good. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
We all shared a few items at the table and there was PLENTY on each plate. The chicken tender meal was plentiful and the tenders were juicy with crispy skin and full of flavor. The mac n cheese was good as well. I was expecting small/thin pancakes, but the cakes were at least 7” around and nearly 1” thick with good flavor. The biscuits and gravy had nice chunks of sausage in it, with a really good flavor. The biscuits were the star though. Best biscuits I’ve had in YEARS. I would go back just to order a to-go order of biscuits. It’s a cute little mom and pop place with good food and friendly staff.

Established in 1952. This fine place is awesome. Great customer service. Reasonable prices are great. Fantastic local cuisine.

Fried chicken is a must. The Biscuits, oh my, they are delicious! We also Had the grilled rainbow trout, a first for me, was definitely fresh but, the trout flavor is not my favorite. We ordered the liver mush biscuit as an appetizer, just to try it. Again, the biscuit was amazing, the liver mush I did not like much. Tastes like a liver sausage might taste. My husband loved it. So, it all depends on your taste buds. The service was great.

Not just the best fried chicken around here but anywhere and compared to anyone's!
But the other food here and there's a great selection and all of it is easily the best you'll find anywhere! We ate here multiple times and ranging from breakfast to dinner because the food was that good! The people were the best and the service was great there, I would recommend this to anyone anytime and whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner then you cannot go wrong and if your in Maggie Valley for more than a day you'll probably find yourself eating there the whole time too!

Great laid back spot. We came for breakfast and they even made my hubby a burger even though it was 930am! Service is fast, friendly and attentive, we wanted for nothing. DONT MISS THIS they're Great! Don't forget to try their famous applesauce, to die for!

We found this little gem of a restaurant yesterday morning. I have to say it was a very pleasant stop. The service was great from our waitress, our food came very quickly and the restaurant and restrooms, while older was very clean and tidy.

The food was very flavorful and the pancakes were the best. I noticed they had Red Eye gravy and in hindsight wish I had ordered some to try as I've not had any in years. Great Job folks!

We ate here three times during our Maggie Valley stay, once for breakfast and twice for dinner. Food and service was great every time. Generous servings, you won’t leave hungry.

Amazing fried chicken dinner and delicious sides. Open 7-days a week 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fabulous service & friendly employees who all appear to enjoy working together. Will definitely return to try breakfast as well as future dinners. Love this Restaurant!!

Excellent fried chicken. Cooked fresh and very tender. Crust/ skin was crispy and well seasoned. My wife had an omelet that also was perfect! Great place for great food.

We come here often as we live right up the road, food is always excellent, staff is as sweet as they can be, atmosphere is soothing as if you went back in time a bit. This is the kinda place that you used to find along country roads and you knew the food is good and you get your money’s worth and they appreciated you coming in, this is that place. Today everyone needs to be entertained with flashing lights and fancy menus, foods you can’t even pronounce, music that makes no sense or is screaming at you. This place is just good wholesome country restaurant with good people and good food, and is my favorite restaurant in the area by far!

This is the spot if you’re looking to relax and enjoy your meal without all the hustle and bustle! Good food, great service (ask for Garrett)! So far, we’ve only had breakfast here but are intending to come back for supper!! Very comfortable atmosphere and the people make you feel welcome!!!

Truly the best chicken I can ever remember having at a restaurant. VERY fresh tasting. The only down side is it takes a while but what have you.. It takes what it takes to be good!!!

We had the country fried steak... the most tender I have ever had. All you can eat $13.95.

The food was delicious and the portion sizes were very large. Inside the restaurant was full on the day I visited but the outside seating gave a great view of the area. Even if it was raining that day. Good place to visit and hope to be able to come back soon

A beautiful 71 year old diamond in the moutians!! If you drive through you have to eat. Great staff and delicious food. The burgers and catfish were amazing

If you know me, you know I'm county. So, I like my biscuits and gravy, and they have some good ones. Prices are a little high for what it is, but the food was amazing, the service was top of the line, and the atmosphere was county. A place I would eat again.

Definitely worth the small wait to get a table for breakfast. Super friendly staff omelets and pancakes are delicious, even the toast is excellent. Highly recommend stopping in.

The chicken was not dry. Had a baked potato cooked perfect. Ordered brown beans they tasted delicious someone cooking knows how.
