Smoky View Cottages & RV Resort | Maggie Valley Vacation Cabin Rentals

The staff is always helpful and friendly. We were in a cabin and we're very happy with the cozy feel and stocked kitchen. It gave us plenty of room and everything we needed for our stay. The Creek is so close you can hear it in the evening when all is quiet. We walked the park many times and it's clean and very well maintained. We recommend this stay to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet and cozy stay-cation or vacation.

My husband and I called and able to do A last minute booking ( booked night before) it was very simple along with checking in you go right to your cabin with code to enter and with good directions our cabin was 122, our dog was very welcomed he is a German. Sheppard he also loved his stay playing in the creek. Cindy was very pleasant and made our accommodations very simple. The cabin had all basic things we needed . It was cozy and loved the covered private porch with NO MOSQUITOES! that over looked the river. It was very pleasant and peaceful. I was surprised as the beds were quite comfortable with lots of pillows. I spent a lot of time relaxing on river bed watching the ducks and by the fire pit- it was exactly what I needed!
We will plan a return stay.

Great relaxing spot. They have several cabins right on the creek bank and your able to do a little trout fishing and hear the water flowing 24/7... Can't get any better! Staff is great and the owner is 1 of the friendliest down to earth kind of people. Have had 2 trips here in the last year or so and have my 3rd booked already for April 2022.

Omg, this place is so great and relaxing. Very comfortable and clean. Affordable, quiet, friendly and peaceful. The stream off the mountains in the back yard is so peaceful and beautiful. I would have stayed so much longer, if I could. Two bedrooms and a beautiful view of the mountains. If you get the opportunity this is the place to relax. Beautifully decorated lodge. The front desk clerk was very welcoming and friendly, kind, courteous.

I called Friday morning for last minute reservations for a weekend getaway and Cindy was more than happy to accommodate us. She found us the perfect cabin on the creek which was just steps away from our covered back porch. The newly renovated cabin was tastefully decorated and was clean as a whistle. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes, pots, utensils and even a coffee maker. I absolutely recommend and we will definitely be back.

We have stayed here twice now in 2 different cottages and we absolutely love it! They are pet friendly which is a must for us. We love staying on the creekside cottages as the views are amazing. Cindy is super nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you like the rustic cabin and have dogs that travel with you.

We liked renting a cabin at Smoky View. Although the cabins need some updating, they are clean and well stocked. The staff was so accomodating and allowed us to bring our dogs. We love the simplicity of sitting on the back porch along the river, or making a fire and just relaxing. The cabins are not fancy, but the area is so enjoyable, and the staff is always willing to meet our needs. During one of our trips we even packed up our cabin the next day and moved to the one next door that was larger and had just become available. We have been there about 3 times and will go back again.

Very nice place. Well kept and comfortable. Nice quiet and safe. I have only been here a short time but I enjoy it very much. Nice place and very nice people. American owned and operated.. So please come and stay with Smokey View Cottages..in the heart of Maggie Valley.. I would like to say that it's a great place to stay safe and protected and just a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend that you stay at Smokey Veiw Cottage's in the heart of Maggie Valley.

Adorable little cabins overlooking the creek, private yet nestled into a little community of other cabins and rvs.
Our cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed for a short honeymoon vacation, a few dishes, freshly made beds, soft linens and a full bathroom, Wi-Fi, TV, coffee maker.
*Update 10/22: we enjoyed our visit so much last year that we returned for an anniversary trip! Happy to see that everything was just as perfect as we described last year, and happy that the local foliage was in peak color! Easy drive to Lake Janaluska, Cherokee, and The Blue Ridge Parkway.

Beautiful place. Cabin was fabulous. Staff is great and keep a wonderful place to stay. Thank you for a much needed peaceful weekend at such a fabulous place. We have stayed at several places in Maggie valley but this is definitely our go to place on all our future visits. Our dog even enjoyed her stay.

I LOVED this place. My husband found me this spot after my son reserved me a motel in a trailer park 🤬. It was nice, clean and Ms. Sonya was a WONDERFUL host. She went above and beyond, even went as far as helping us with some car trouble by recommending someone reliable and trustworthy. I didn't even care I about paying for another night. I will definitely use her again!!!

As described in the heart of all that is good on the strip. We stayed for a festival at the adjacent property in our 40 ft motorhome. Lots are close but everyone is so nice and friendly you wont mind. It was quiet at night. No issues with utilities. The grounds are clean and comfortable. The creek is charming and there is are several common areas. The staff is the best! They were always willing to point you in the right direction or assist in getting you parked. We will be back!!

Thanks to Terri and the Staff at Smoky View Cottages. Brought my entire family to stay at the Resort and we had a great time. The cabins were so cozy and perfect for all of us to have quality time together. We can't wait until next Summer to come back and enjoy the pool and stream. So much to do and the scenery is phenomenal. Thanks to everyone involved.

This place is amazing. Tranquil, relaxing. Had a cabin on the creek and it was perfect. Super clean and very well stocked kitchen necessities. Terry Lynn went above and beyond for us. Bike had a nail, she send tow truck. AWESOME stay!!! Highly recommend.

I have loved staying here for many years. You can not beat the creek side cabins which boast plenty of rooms for your families. It is well equipped for a comfortable and exciting vacation. Love the location as well right in the middle of Maggie Valley.

We were looking for a creek view hotel. 3 places I checked at were around $120. I found this place by driving by and thought why not try? It was $175 $75 is for cleanup but it was a 2 bedroom(1 king bed 1 queen) 1 1/2bath.. a full kitchen with dishes. An outside fire pit with a grill. We grilled out steaks lit a fire. Slept like kings n queens..woke up made a great breakfast. Did I mention the creek? Absolutely beautiful..ducks roaming around with little debbies. The inside of cabin was very clean and very nice. Pull out couch big tv. The front porch had rocking chairs. The pool was closed but up for opening soon. The cabins next to us were close but actually that made it better both cabins were occupied by very nice families. We had a great time. A real life experience and a wonderful memory that ill cherish always. I cant wait to go back and stay longer. Ty to staff they were very helpful very accommodating. We had no issues but one that we couldn't stay longer.

Awesome place. Would be nice if they filled the holes in their driveway along with better water pressure in the shower. Stayed in cabin 118. Will stay again and have already recommended.

Loved this place. Went up for the bike rally. Swam in the pool and played in the creek. The people were super friendly too. Had a great time. Cabins were clean and well equipped. Definitely going back.

It was back in 2008 that I first stayed here. Diana and I were married in the little chapel. We spent the next several days on our honeymoon in one of the most cozy little cabins I have ever seen. It was the most fun we could have hoped for. After 9 years today we are still on our honeymoon. I thank God everyday for her. HAPPY ANNIVERSERY DARLING.

We love Smoky View Cottages! Everyone is so friendly, the cabins are beautiful and being able to sit by the creek is a piece of heaven. We will continue to come to Maggie Valley but only to stay at Smoky View. The staff is like family!
