We truly loved this place! It has so much character and we were very comfortable. LOVED the bed, slept like a log. Large windows in room which were perfect as we watched the snow fall. Parking right in front of your room is so convenient, no walking through a lobby or up an elevator. Beautiful stream on property was so majestic. We will be back in the summer and stay in a room on the stream. They have super cool retro camper rooms also. The price is beyond reasonable. So convenient on the main road through Maggie Valley and right below the ski lodge. Snow tubing a block away. Thank you Route 19 Inn we loved our stay!!!

My Husband and I Loved Everything about this Place! We loved being right by the creek. We had brought our little dog Pixie with us and she got to play by the creek. They are very Pet friendly! The service is wonderful. The People that works in the office are So Polite and Attentive to everything. We will Always stay here at Route 19 Inn every time we Visit Maggie Valley North Carolina. I look forward to going back again soon. The Killoughs

Very nice retro motel. Stayed in the economy rooms in the retro RV trailer which are also themed beautifully. Grounds are located on a stream and are themed well. Suggest adding wall or door hooks since there is no closet in these units(#27). Young lady checking us in did not proactively offer information on room location or amenities. Overall we would highly recommend this property!

Full Disclosure: When I go camping, it is to the "Ritz-Carlton"...haha. Soo when we pulled into this place, I was like "no way" are we staying here!

WOW, was I completely wrong about my 1st impression.

This family owned and ran motel is absolutely a perfect place to stay up in the Mtns of Maggie Valley, NC. The rooms have been completely remodeled into a reto 1960-70's look with current day conveyances. Super Clean, Great Bed, Nice big screen TV. Having the creek rushing through the property has a relaxing sounds. Here is a perk. This location is really at the bottom of the Mtn to the Cataloochee Ski Resort, so ski all day and retire for the night to a warm comfy cozy room. Also plenty of food options all around.

Route 19 Inn has earned repeat patrons, and we are already planning our return trip. Be sure to give this place and folks serious consideration next time in Maggie Valley.

My friend booked this hotel, there was 4 of us( 2 couples) (2 rooms) wasn’t sure what she had booked and 2 my suprise this place was Amazing. From the staff to the retro vibes, this place gets 5 stars on everything. The married couple who own this place are friendly, helpful and the best at customer service. There’s a playground, giant tee pee, and carousel horses for the kids. Pool and if you don’t want to enjoy the pool, then the creek is nearby for relaxing or fishing. There’s a classic car for pics and if you go up the parking lot there is a antique motorcycle with the tail of the dragon wall mural for pics. The rooms are super clean, with toiletries, so if ya forgot the makeup wipes then “No Worries”. Fridge and microwave with coffee pot. Absolutely, no complaints. From the staff to the rooms, this place is absolutely a hidden gem. I live 2 hours away, but I will be telling my friends and my own customers about this perfect retro, family friendly, lovely place and I can’t wait to book here again.

My wife and I spent the night here for a quick little getaway. Had been here before when it was named something else. Lots better than before. The owners invested a lot more into the property. Many improvements; the rooms, the grounds, etc. That night, they had a small band playing music and singing by the pool under their gazebo. Really good we thought. Will probably stay there again when we come back through. Oh yeah, price wasn't bad either. Thanks again.

We loved everything about Route 19 Inn! We came up from Atlanta on bike trip and were supposed to end the day north of Asheville when our bike broke down on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were able to make it to Maggie Valley and pulled into the first place to stay we passed. 30 minutes before the office closed, Angie was so kind to give us her last two open rooms and she and Eric were so accommodating when we needed a late checkout waiting for our trailer. The property is so cute and there’s a very pretty creek back in the woods. We will absolutely make this a stop on future trips.

Fantastic vibe and a great job by the owners to retro this place to the wonderful motel feel of old, but with wifi right? Just a fantastic place in a beautiful setting, the sound of the creek is just amazing. Owners are super friendly and we met great folk from all over up at the fire pit at night. I'll be back!

There are lots of motels in Maggie Valley... but this is the SPOT! Adorable retro-vibe with little gems at every turn. Creekside cuteness gives Route19 Inn a whimsical-feel. Clean room and dog-friendly. The owners are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them extensively about the property and the area. They offered local tips that made our visit even more awesome. We had come to see the elk and we were lucky enough to see a mom and three babies right outside our motel door! Book your stay here, you'll love it.

The owners live onsite which made me feel really safe. Both owners are very nice people. Bed was really comfortable. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Bright with good lighting. The fridge was a good size which came in handy for an extended stay. It had an actual freezer on top of it. I was in the smallest room yet still had ample space. The best part was I didn’t hear a lot of noises from outside or other guests. Excellent experience.

Confirmed my booking on the phone the next day while traveling. The lady I talked to was the best at getting me setup with a late arrival and my dog. The room was perfect and clean. My wife and I loved the retro look and feel. Great value and great spot. You can feel the love that has been put into this place.

Love this inn! My wife and I stayed here for a short rendezvous over to Maggie Valley and we were extremely impressed! We chose the spot based on the nostalgia of the grounds and that they were pet friendly. The rooms were extremely clean and the decor was perfect. The owners are also very helpful and friendly and spent quite a while talking to us this morning before we left. The river is right along the edge of the hotel and gives a soothing sound throughout the night. We love this spot and I guarantee you that we will return!

Wonderful nights stay. Guest are all so friendly sitting out in the evening. Feels like you’re thrown back in time. Grounds and room are super clean. The creeks ads a nice touch. There’s a cool bridge to drive into the grounds There’s even a pool and laundry facilities - which is great when you have to pack light on a motorbike. Very biker friendly, even a bucket of cloths to wipe down the bikes in the morning! Wish we lived closer. I’d be back more often! Would be a fun place to bring kids. Lots of memories would be made.

This Inn is such a treat! Love everything about it, from the rushing waters of the nearby creek to the retro feel throughout every space. The rooms are modern and clean with just enough nostalgia to make you smile. The owners, Eric and Angie, are incredibly kind and attentive. I can't say I've ever been so surprised by a place and the way it just takes you to another time. Truly a gem and if you're heading to Maggie Valley, be sure to check them out! I know I'll be back.

They were all booked up so we didn't get to stay. We loved the look and atmosphere. We talked with some employees and they were incredibly nice. We plan to book in advance next time.
