Creekside Lodge

We stumbled across this hidden gem by accident. Absolutely adorable hotel, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were greeted warmly, especially by Grace the dog. The rocking chairs and outdoor firepits were inviting. It sits along a beautiful creek with Mountain views. This will definitely be our hotel of choice when visiting Maggie Valley.

Maggie Valley great place to stop in heading to the Wheels Through time Museum cute place slept good and enjoyed a fire by the creek with some passing people as well. Surrounding things we did was Soco Falls and rode briefly on parkway not much views seen a little. Great coffee and good down the ride. The owner of this hotel factors in a lot of, Extra shampoos and soaps, which is nice laundry room even has complementary laundry soap I didn’t use it but the Things are just special and thoughtful for people that need it. Bring a book and relax on the many sitting areas throughout.

Perfect got away on the Creek for me and my husband! Jetted tub was wonderful !!! Clean and seamless stay !! Will def return !!

Just spent the last four days there with some of my motorcycle friends and we had a great in’s. Outdoor fire pits and the rooms were clean the people are very friendly. Restaurants in walking distance!!

A friend recommended Creekside Lodge. It’s a perfect place to stay in Maggie Valley. I can’t say enough great things about the owner, Carol. She is an amazing person and if you need anything she is there to help with it. If your sitting outside your room, you’ll see her walking her dog. She will often stop to see how things are or just say hi. Thank you Carol and I’ll be back next year!

From the onset, we were greeted and treated with utmost respect. Even the person who took the reservation over the phone was charming! The room was exceptionally clean, roomy, and up to date. There was a power outage while we were there our 2nd day that lasted 15 hours. The guy at the front desk suggested places to go see/eat while we waited it out. So helpful! Luckily the weather was cool, and just opening the back door onto the deck made the room more than comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location and the staff. We will be back in the fall!! Thanks Creekside for a terrific weekend getaway!

We have been staying here for 9 years now, very clean, the creekside rooms with porches are nice for relaxing and listening to the creek. Carol the owner is really awsome, always takes good care of us.

Great family owned hotel. Rooms have been remodeled. Built next to nice flowing creek with fire pits and grills. We stay there 2 - 3 a year. Love it.

Very clean rooms! Owner was very helpful in suggesting places to see and things to do. Great spot to leave from to go on multiple day trips! Quiet area!

July 4th weekend stay. Fast check in. Both ladies were very nice. Stayed in room 217. Room was excellent. It was very clean & beds very comfortable with fresh, clean linen. No complaints with bathroom either. Had plenty of clean towels along with toilet paper and etc. Balcony had 2 chairs. Very nice and creek was so nice. Swimming area was great. Husband and I got in the heated pool both nights. Everything was excellent and property very clean. Definitely no complaints! I do have to brag on Carol. She was working the whole time during our stay. Very concerned about guest arriving because traffic was horrible on the interstate with long delays. No doubt in my mind that she would see to all of the guest being able to get into their rooms after hours. Husband and I had some truck problems. I called hotel for some information on an auto mechanic. Carol immediately got on the other phone and was calling around for me. Luckily, truck started after being jumped off then went and had a new battery put in. Carol went that extra mile for me and my husband. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you Carol and Maggie Valley Creekside Lodge for a wonderful stay.

It was so cool staying here! There was a big tractor and trailer that backed in to the empty parking lot at the gas station and apparently they were making a delivery of some sort I guess. The truck driver’s opened the trailer doors and the female manager was talking to them . They carried something covered up multiple times. The truck left after about 45 minutes. I was curious what was carried under the blankets so I walked by the far left room at the end only to see 3 elk head mounts with antlers. I guess the female hotel manager didn’t want the “ public “. To see what the truck drivers weee dropping off.

Very clean, comfortable bed, helpful and kind staff, and beautiful surroundings. We stayed in a second floor creek-facing room and had a spacious balcony with rocking chairs to enjoy the view from. We even saw an elk walk by!

Beautiful family owned lodge located next to a babbling creek. On the back of the property next to the creek are several firepit areas which have chairs, a swing and picnic table. Rooms are nice sized, some with jacuzzi tubes. Beds are really comfortable and linens/towels are good quality. Nice toiletries too. This is the 5th year in a row that our car club has chosen to stay on this property. Not a complaint one.

We have stayed at here twice over the last few weeks and it has been great. We have had very positive visits. Carolyn is great to work with and has been very helpful guiding us to the things that we were looking for in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. Some of the rooms have Jacuzzi tubs which are quite nice. There is plenty of space to sit and relax and watch the creek or read a book. You can also fish right behind the Lodge. There is enough parking for the rooms. There is also an indoor common area is cozy. It is conveniently located close to most everything in Maggie Valley. As you can tell I am a fan and will stay there again and again.

We stay here every year for an event in Maggie Valley and we absolutely love it! Very calm and peaceful atmosphere. We relax on balcony watching creek while reading a book. In walking distance of nice restaurants. Then come back to roast marshmallows by the fire. Highly recommend!

As always we had a great get away weekend in Maggie Valley. If anyone is looking for a great couples or family get away Maggie Valley Creekside Lodge is the way to go. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy. Wake up every morning to drinking coffee on balcony watching the creek, then at night we made a fire by the creek and roasted marshmallows.

I had a very nice stay. The staff is very friendly and treats you like family. Great location, wonderful Creekside amenities (fire pits, BBQ grills, wooden swing lounger). Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, and the softest towels! Kudos to the owners, management, and staff members who made my stay very enjoyable.

This property was beautiful, and so much more than we expected. Room was clean, owner is sweet, pool was perfect (even the fresh cold water spout lol), the outside has rocking chairs, picnic tables with grills with plenty of seating by the creek, and fire pits. It's located close to hiking, the Blue Ridge Parkway (scenic driving road), Cherokee, and has a beautiful view of the Smoky mountains.
