It was our second time renting snowboards here and it was awesome again! The owners are so friendly & helpful. The boots are very comfy & the boards ride great. Lots of gear for sale too. We will definitely be back!

First time trying snowboarding. Went down the block to skis and tees to get info on rentals, when asked the older guyat the rental counter just said “ look at rhe sign those are the prices “ so with no knowledge on anything we just left and deove down the road to see if we found another shop when we saw flipside. Went in, approached the gentleman that was at the counter and explained that it was going to be our first tine snow boarding and we wanted more info on rentals or possibly buying our own equipment. He stood there with us about 20-30 min explaing everything about the boards and all the gear, told us we should rent and try before we bought anything to make sure we felt comfortable with it. He’s wife at the counter was also super nice in helping us with some other jackets and stuff we bought. Store has a huge inventory on everything. You can find just about anything there. Recomend this store to anyone looking to buy or rent snow boarding gear. The customer service they provide is jist above and beyond. As a business owner myself I know the way customers should be treated and this guys know exactly how its done. Great job. We’ll be coming back anytime we’re in town to snowboard

Love the owners here. Just picked up my first board and they helped out so much. Let me take a demo out that I would be purchasing so I could make sure it was the right one. Recommend these guys to anyone very good people and a nice shop.

Absolutely love this place. Staff is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable, they have a great selection of product, and the prices are hard to beat. I came in for a rental for the weekend and ended up coming back and buying my first snowboard from them. I live an hour away but this will now be my go-to snowboard shop.

Went here for snowboarding gear and the people working the counters know their stuff. Helped me get set up for the season and they have tons of gear to choose from. I’ll probably be stopping here any chance I get

Awesome shop with everything you need! The owners are awesome and everyone there is very helpful! They hooked me up with a full set up and when I came back because the helmet didn’t fit right they helped me out to exchange it! Will definitely stop by every trip I make to Maggie valley!

Went in there today because my toddler wanted a skateboard. The owner was super helpful. Great selection of boards and helped fitting him for a helmet. Definitely check it out and support your local board shop.

Cool shop great selection. The staff is what makes this shop. I was up on vacation just happened to see their shop while heading to the falls swung in and spent a hour just talking with the owners. Super friendly and knowledgeable and will give you the run down on local spots for food and scenery.

I went in for a pair of snowboard boot rentals. Excellent service. The shoes were very nice and the price is hard to beat. Definitely rent from here instead of the ski resort!

The people that work there are great. Anytime I have a question they answer it. I loved my libtech I bought from Flipside, and I always rock the stickers they give out.

I’m a beginner and came in to get some goggles not really knowing what I’m looking for. The owner was extremely helpful and informative to help me find exactly what I wanted. I ended up going with the Flipside brand goggles and I love them! They’re extremely high quality for much cheaper than name brands. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!!

Great place, really takes care of the locals and always love to meet new people from out of town. One of the best family owned shops around!
