Abbey Road Tavern & Grill

This place has been around quite awhile and it has been some time since I was there but the burgers are as good as I remembered. The best part is that they let you choose the wellness /cooked level you want and will actually cook it to that level. The burgers, buns, and sides are fresh and it makes a difference. I got the Lucy burger with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. Delicious. Great bun in color, texture and size. Burger done the way I wanted. Plenty of mushrooms covered in the right amount of melted Swiss cheese. The person I was with got the Lemmy which was a patty melt. Both were good, but cheese on the patty melt wasn’t really melted …. :-(. We both got onion rings as sides. Great choice, highly recommend. They were not frozen and warmed up. They were whole rings, all various sizes with a light golden brown coating and sweet and sweet when eaten. Not to oily or greasy either. Very good! Our server was friendly and attentive. They have out door seating.

Odd for us, this restaurant has become a favorite of our 11 year old daughter. The food just hits right for her and she has finished her plate every time we have visited!
Their wings are fantastic and they're my personal recommendation for a meal. My wife prefers their fish and chips and prefers them over competitor restaurants.

The staff is always great to us and we never feel like we wait too long for food.

The food was great here! This place has been a part of Cary for a long time now and there is definitely a reason why. The service here was incredible and the mozzarella sticks were delicious!!

The food tasted great and the portions were impressive. Inside the restaurant was loud so we ate outside which was nice and calm. The service was balanced just right - observant enough to keep drinks filled but not overly intrusive.

Best burgers always cooked perfectly. I will not go anywhere else for a burger. Service is always great. Wonderful atmosphere. Big space. Pool tables lotsa TVs. Private party room. Did I say their burgers are the best.

Great local pub for cold drinks and hot food! Live music, drink specials, older crowd, easy going, laid back atmosphere. Occasionally gets busy but overall a great spot to chill.

As my most visited restaurant in the past year, Abbey Road has been consistent. The staff eclectic and engaging, there is a feeling of community. They can get busy so sometimes you need patience but it’s worth it.

Burgers, beer, and wings were great. Love the atmosphere and service. Just a warning though the hot wings are really hot at least for this Buckeye. The "hot" in Ohio are not nearly this hott!! Welcome to the south.....

Update about a month later. Went back to try something different. We ordered the meatball sub, cuban, and Philly cheese steak. Not very impressed. We'll stick to burgers next time. The meatballs were ok but the red sauce had that all day on the stove burnt taste. The Cuban was good but don't expect the bread to be the same as Miami or Tampa. But still a good sandwich.

This place was great! It was packed, but the servers were really handling things well. The food was great, even for as late as it was. The band was awesome, the atmosphere was laid back. I'd definitely come here again!

First time eating here was on a Saturday and it was so good we came back that Wednesday. Service was great both times, and food came out quickly. Their burgers are absolutely delicious. Great seasoning and perfectly cooked to order. Caught the end of open mic on Wednesday which we really enjoyed and they had great drink specials

My goodness, the turkey melt was just the ticket! I thought the toasted buttered sourdough was perfection and the turkey, lettuce, and tomato were great! I picked tater tots as my side and they were crunchy heaven. So good!
Edit: I went back and got the same meal except this time it was disappointing. First off one of the slices of sourdough was the end piece of the loaf, then the lettuce had some bad parts. Since I've had 1 great experience and 1 bad experience, I'll give them another try and see how the sandwich goes to determine if I'll keep going.

Took my sister here for a late lunch. She got the fish fry and I got Buffalo chicken dip. Both were really good. The waiter Steven was full of personality. Thank you for an excellent lunch. My sister came in from NY and loved it there. PS the music was good too🙂

5 hungry boys arrived on a Thursday evening and left satisfied men.

We flew in from Boston very hungry and thirsty. This was our first stop after the airport on our way to pinehurst. The parking lot was packed and we found a spot. Vibes were great, lots of Beatles memorabilia and we counted 6+ guitars on the walls. Very casual sports bar atmosphere.
For appetizers the wings were fantastic (Andrew can’t stop talking about them) do not underestimate the heat of the sauce!
Good selection of beers at a great price. Carolina burger was very good and the gyro also got an honorable mention. Service was southern hospitality A+ Tori was great and so nice and accommodating Would recommend

Great food, great service, every time. We go as a family w our 12 and 13 yr olds and they love it as well. Something for everyone on the menu. Great burgers but the best fish & chips since I lived in London. The homemade chips as a side to anything are stellar. Prices are reasonable as well.

Best burgers and good beer selection! One of the few restaurants still open late in Cary, which is quite the rarity. Also, they now close at 12 AM instead of 2 AM.

This is a fun place. Lots of tv's with sports and an online jukebox with folks that play good music. The bartender was friendly and attentive. They had a band outside this evening. We had dinner reservations somewhere else, so we didn't get to watch them. Will definitely go back.
I also want to try the on Center too. It's closer to my house.

Never disappoints. Great food, drinks and Ambience. Very friendly staff as well.

Hannah and Patrick were mixologists behind the bar. The philly was phenomenal and the atmosphere was on point. Great evening spot to grab some food and a couple cold drinks.

Great tasting, huge burgers. Plenty of cold beer on draft. Friendly staff. Laid back environment. Whats not to love?
