Very nice and well taken care of place. They gave my father a nice ceremony. He is resting comfortably here.

Beautiful final place of rest for people that have sacrificed so much. Stopped by here to visit a loved one. Stood back and admired the beauty here. Flags waving in the wind. Just a sight to behold!

Nice place over all well kept. Needs attention to entrance sign needs cleaning more regularly and could use more available flower cup holders, especially on Veterans Day and on other days equally important. Always noticed people come out without being able to display there flowers.

Did not know Goldsboro had a State Veterans Cemetery. It’s a very new place and looks very nice; but I rated it 3 stars because it’s very close to an Air Force base, and in direct path of where the jets take off, so it will definitely be an issue if a svc is taking place with jets flying over. **UPGRADE TO 5 STARS** I was actually present for a service today, while jets flew overhead, and it was not a distraction. It added a certain “salute” or “homage” for the deceased. Also, I forgot to mention the staff is very courteous and professional, from the grounds team to the office staff. Being someone who has to frequent cemeteries (funeral honors detail) it’s good to work with a great team of people. This cemetery has only been around about a year and a half, but has established itself as an equal to Sandhills Veterans Cemetery in Fayetteville.

My mom's services were held here in July 2019. The land is beautiful and kept very nice. Everyone was professional and patient with all the questions. I felt my mom got the honor she deserved for being a military wife, the jets added a special touch to the services which made my dad smile a bit for several reasons. He was the engineer for the F15s and my mom would rather have the jets than someone saying farewell speeches . Perfect timing and gesture to the woman we all loved.

My father was buried here and the sound of the jets during his ceremony was awesome. It added to his service and was almost like having his own fly over. The staff did keep us on schedule but that was explained clearly before the day of the burail. They would have to do that because of other families burying their family members that same day. Love how my dad was honored that day and everyday since. My wife is a veteran and after my dad's service we have made arrangements for us to be buried there also. Thank you for honoring our veterans.

They provided my father with the service he deserved. The jets flying over head, the staff, everything was perfect. It doesn't make losing him any less harder but he was given the thank you he worked so hard for. Thank you

This became my husband's F.R.P. (Final Resting Place) January 2019. The Staff and grounds are excellent. I am very grateful that Senator Don Davis fought hard to keep this location open. Very close to our home. On my way now to celebrate the 1st anniversary day of my husband's Born Day without him.

Well kept, very professional staff. They are strict with the rules, but what else would you expect from a place associated with the military. They are helpful and will go over all the rules for you though so you shouldn't have any problems.
