We have tried so many pizza places in the area and this is the only one that hits like NY pizza! Absolutely amazing and the staff is so friendly. Easily a 5/5 and I will never go anywhere else!

I got recommended Big Sergio's Pizza in Apex. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The pizza had the perfect balance of crispy crust and gooey cheese. And the variety of toppings they offer is great! The staff there were super friendly and understanding. I totally recommend trying their margherita pizza, it's a classic and they nailed it! Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

When I drive 2 hours to visit Apex from W-Salem, I grabbed the Groupon for a pepperoni pizza - I realized this pizza is close to perfect - I'm sitting here savoring a delicious crust saying this doesn't need the rest of the pie and can stand on it's own, no leftover crusts here, add the rest of the pie and WOW!!! I think it's one of my top Pizza joints - Great delicious balance guys, good work!! My goto Pizza Shop.

Best NY pizza near Apex BY FAR. This is our standard go-to Friday night spot. This place uses fantastic ingredients and cooked in a real deal pizza oven. If you’re looking for good NY Za, this is a must try!

It hasn't even been 24 hours since my first time here and I have already told 3 people about this place and how they ABSOLUTLY HAVE TO VISIT IT. Hands down the BEST PIZZA I have EVER HAD!! The grandma pizza is out of this world! My kids wanted more the next day! If you have never tried grandma pizza, definitely give it a try.

Love this pizza! Thin crust, New York all the way. Sausage done the right way - sliced, not crumbled -- on the pie. If you value a true New York pie in your local, then support Big Sergios. I can't wait for next time.

My first experience was horrible and the review is below. Since then I have visited 3 times and it’s been 3 of the best pizzas I have ever had! In fact today I ordered a half/half but it was mistakenly made with the topping on the whole pie rather than half cheese and half topping like I ordered. They noticed at some point and made us a second pie so we could get the half cheese and half topping. Amazing food, great integrity with making their mistake right. Highly recommend

Recommend by a co worker I was very excited to try this pizza. Picked it up, liked the looks of the restaurant and menu, it smelled amazing! After getting it home and opening the box it looked equally good as it smelled which is the only reason it even got a 2 star. The entire pizza ended to edge was completely burnt. The bottom was the blackest of any pizza I have ever seen! Such a disappointment.

Two slices and a soda for 9 bucks!!! That’s crazy but it’s legit. The pizza is cooked in a stone oven. They sell it by the slice or the whole pie and it is delicious!!! If you like New York style this is your place!

I've been going to Big Sergios at least once a week since I started working in Apex 6 months ago. My husband probably thinks I'm crazy but I cannot get enough! Everything I've gotten from the pasta all the way to the ham subs have been Absolutely amazing. Hands down the best NY pizza place near Raleigh NC.

Big Sergio's pizza is so very good. Very authentic. Great meats and veggies. Sauce is perfectly flavored, but not spicey. My only criticism is that I wish they cooked the pizzas a few more minutes longer because I like the pizza to be golden cooked...kinda well done. I recommend the Margherita pizza.

Within our business of travel. From Garner to Apex most weekends. We take ten ten road and we pass by big Sergio's Pizza, on the right hand side, just before the highway at the stop light coming from Garner. Today, Sunday. It was 1 p.m. and we decided to stop in. We ordered two calzones, 1, 8 in sub Philly cheesesteak, and A Slice of Cheesecake.

If you've never eaten here before, come by and have a taste of this food. You definitely get a large quantity of food for your buck. The calzone is enormous for just $6.95 and The Taste is phenomenal. The Philly cheesesteak I had was warm and melted and delicious and it was gone before I got to my house. The Slice of Cheesecake was some of the best desert I've eaten in a very long time. It wasn't overly sweet, like most desserts. I also saw that they serve Gyros I did not get one but we will get one next time. But don't take just my word for it. Look at some of my images I've taken.
I will be stopping back by this restaurant more frequently as work increases in Cary.

I’m not sure how the wings are made but I love every flavor they have. My main reason for ordering the wings is because it’s not breaded, fried and greasy like most wings are. I think they may air fry them 😁 love you guys keep the good food coming.

Best Pizza In Town. Quite possibly on the entire east coast and yes, they are from New York. So there ya go. Always great staff and always fresh pizza. I've never had a bad experience with them and they even deliver for free with no minimum. Just don't take advantage of that.

I've eaten pizza and a stromboli here this week (GrubHub) while staying at Wakemed Hospital. Both were really good. Delivery through GrubHub was fast. Would definitely order from here again if in the area. Thanks for good food.

Unassuming little pizza shop with excellent NY slice. Just the right sauce to cheese to grease ratio!

Two 18 inch pizzas for $29. That's an absolute deal. Everything here is good, but the pizza is excellent. Great crust, right amount of cheese and great sauce. Other places can't even get that right, and they're charging way more. Hit this place up, it's totally worth it. If I lived closer I'd be up here all the time 😂
