Vanderbilt Heart at Maury Regional Medical Center

My mother had an appointment on March 19, 2021 with Morgan Johnson. The experience was excellent from the front desk to the nurse to the Doctor. Everyone took their time getting information and attending to my mother. Means a lot when my mother can see a doctor and the doctor actually sits down and talks and listens to all my mothers concerns. This is an excellent facility.

Excellent physician! Very caring and compassionate. Very thorough. Did not get in a hurry. Thank you Dr. Young. Also, Jennifer was very nice and helpful. The girls at the desk was very friendly and allowed us to take our time in giving information. We drove from Athens Alabama to see the physician in this group. We would rate them the best.

Dr English is an amazing cardiologist. Very smart and willing to listen to your questions and concerns. I would recommend him to anyone. The front staff and nurses are all very friendly and willing to help when needed!

Efficient and thorough teams who are easily accessible. Communications have been clear plus friendly. Visits to date have been on time with minimal waiting.

These people work with the thought that money is more important than your care. My daughter had an appointment with Vanderbilt heart in Columbia, she arrived 20 minutes early like suggested. She filled her paperwork out and waited patiently, she was finally called to the exam room an hour and 5 minutes past her appointment time . She was in the exam room another 20 minutes waiting for the doctor, when the doctor finally came in she spent 12 minutes with my daughter, her suggestion was to wear a monitor for 2 weeks and come back. It took 3 weeks to get the monitor, but no disposable supplies to go with it. Any way a short time later she received a bill for the visit, the bill had an additional charge for over $500 because they say the visit took over 45 minutes . Who has ever heard of such a thing, my daughter waited nearly an hour and a half past her appointment time to see a doctor, isn’t her time valuable as well. Why doesn’t Vanderbilt Heart have a sign posted showing the patients this policy. This is as disgusting a procedure as I have ever seen from health care providers. Be cautious of these bandits ! By the way, nothing has been discussed about my daughter’s condition or possible treatments, they are still reviewing the data a month later !!!

Vanderbilt Representive Teana Falconbury denies oxygen dependant woman necessary medical treatment for pacemaker revision checkup due to Vanderbilt heart own private mask policy. Keep in mind the Vanderbilt heart center is located in the Maury Regional Medical Center and county which does not have a mask mandate.

I brought my husband here to have an echo done. The woman in front started demanding me to wear a mask and I told her I couldn't. She then threatened to call security and have me removed. She also demanded a letter from my doctor and that is a violation of HIPPA. Also they violated federal law for harassment of a service dog handler.

Don’t even waste your time lack of compassion from scheduling can’t even get in for 6-8 months
Meanwhile your symptoms/ condition will go untreated! Unacceptable you could have something seriously wrong that needs treated and would provide for a better quality of life but they don’t seem to care!
