Stan's Country Restaurant

My husband and I are traveling back to Florida from Wisconsin, we stopped for food and almost went to Craker Barrel. As we were about to pull in and we noticed Stan's. All In one restaurant, gas station, convenience store. Beautiful history in this place. Established in 1947 and has had many country singers stop in, such as George Jones and Hank Williams. A must place to stop in to eat.

All in one shop, restaurant, gas station with convenience store. We stopped by Stan's Country Restaurant on the way to Florida, typically we stop for breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Glad we changed our routine, this was a real find. We had a wonderful and very attentive waitress, my coffee never made it halfway full. I had the western omelet, it came with a generous portion of hash browns, apples and a biscuit. The meal was great, no complaints from anyone around the table. Give Stan's a try!

We were traveling through and saw the billboard. It’s like a gas station, restaurant and old timey store. It reminded me of Cracker Barrel before they cut the potions and raised the cost. Our portions were hearty. We both had meatloaf and it was good. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Would stop again. The menu was pretty diverse selling breakfast all day with lots of options. There’s a green and lean selection too.

I have eat at Stan's most of my adult life. Not the same eating facilities, but it's still mighty fine food. The first time I took my daughter to Stan's. She said you took my to a gas station to eat and there is a perfectly fine Cracker Barrel across the street. Yes, it's much better and we ate there last week. Never a mention of the other place. Try it. You won't be sorry.

They had 1 server for the entire dining room (severe staff shortage) and yet that gal managed to serve all of us promptly and efficiently with an easy friendliness. The food was GREAT..! Fresh and hot. Coffee was excellent. Also - this is labeled as a truck stop and it is adjacent to one, but the restaurant itself is nicely-done with stone fireplace and a pleasant atmosphere.

I enjoyed a great meal suggested by my waitress, Jessie.
Had the bbq pulled pork and my sides were baked beans and turnip greens with cornbread.
Though the cornbread was not perfect, the pork was wonderful. The baked beans..couldn't stop eating them. The greens were like mama made.
Though the food was very hood, still, the top card of this visit was Jessie. Friendly, very attentive with the customers, and good natured. This was a nice visit and I hope to get back here soon to try more of the menu. (See pics).

23/10 We needed to eat ... something! There was Stan's. Moderate prices. Really good food. Great service. We were surprised. And pleased. Atmosphere is only affected by being in a travel center complex. When you see one - try it!

Jessie was our server. We had a party of 9. Even though she appeared overwhelmed at 1st, she did a great job! Food was delicious, like good ole home cooking 😋

When you first walk in to the restaurant, there are longhorns and wagon wheels decorating the walls. Our waitress was really nice and cut up with us! I got the grilled pork chop, collard greens, green beans and a salad. I am on a health journey, that allows me to eat out, I just have to watch my portion size amoung other things. My friend got the fried green tomatoes and they looked amazing!

Home-style cooking with all the fixings. This recently remodeled place looks and feels down home and serves food that you've come to love and enjoy. Whether it's a yummy served all day breakfast, sandwich, burger or full-blown country fried comfort meal, this is the place for you.

Probably our 5th visit to Stan's. Easy off and on again Highway delight. Best fried okra we've EVER had. Catfish is great. Burgers fries, country fried steak A++. I don't think we've had a bad meal here. **however*(The water gets a huge ZERO from me but that's not their fault.) So, I just buy a couple bottles from the store side and take them to the table before we oder.., lesson learned and they don't mind. No worries. Always good gas prices too.

Wonderful food, great relaxing atmosphere. If you're near Nashville look them up, it's worth the drive. Large portions, southern sweet tea and the best grille ham and cheese in 5 states.

I've been coming here for years. A great spot for a real taste of country home cooking. Great staff & super service. I wont mention the name of the restaurant across the street (Cracker Barrel) but the difference is clear: while the food might look the same, its not. Stan's tastes way better. The other place prepares the food while Stan's cooks it.

Great service, delightful waitress, dog friendly outside under the cover in the back. Good food, great atmosphere, when back in the area will stop by again!!

I don't recall the name of my server, but she was fantastic! She was a ball of Fire! If you needed something, she was right there and on the spot! Great attitude, great service!

Great place for breakfast. Great food fast with little to no wait time. Very reasonable prices.

We stopped here after a very long 7 hour ride. The food was fantastic and our waitress was amazing! I didn’t catch her name but she has dark hair and was an exceptional server! I’m so happy we stopped here. I would recommend this place to anyone coming through this way! GREAT JOB FROM MISSOURI!

Server was so busy working her section but she was great. Food was good. We'll be back.

This is a quality gem of a Restaurant. Very few cafe's and home cooking out there these days. We had open faces roast beef sandwiches. They were delicious. The waitress was very attentive and it was the best place I have been in a long time. I think Home Cooked Food explains it all.

Convenient location rightof the interstate. Didn't have to wait like Cracker Barrel 30-45 min. Friendly staff, good food!
