The Dotted Lime

What a wonderful job they did! They catered a delicious brunch for a baby shower I hosted. We had charcuterie boards, cinnamon rolls, plated salad, quiche Lorraine with tomato basil soup, chicken skewers with hot honey, warm bread, and of course a gorgeous scratch made cake for dessert. They were timely on their arrival, served our food, cleaned up, and were very professional. The food was delicious as always and very tasty. Unfortunately I didn’t take photos of the meal, but I promise it looked great and was delicious. I didn’t want plastic or paper plates and I was also able to rent all the dinnerware, glasses and utensils from them so I literally had to do nothing. I would certainly recommend them as it was a very good experience.

Having been diagnosed with Celiacs and going gluten-free some 20 years ago, biscuits and sausage gravy were no more to be enjoyed until The Dotted Lime was discovered. It was amazing to be able to order anything I wanted as all their entries were gluten free. I had to have the biscuits and sausage gravy and it was amazing. I also left with a cinnamon roll and some muffins, which were also amazing treats latter and the next day. Highly recommend this place especially for those with Gluten allergies.

Paul and Chrissy have put together a fantastic place for those with food allergies but don't think that makes the food less delicious. The food from The Dotted Lime will put a smile on the face of anyone. If you haven't tried them don't wait any longer to find out what you are missing.

This place is so cute and very accommodating!! I loved it! They have a great breakfast and lunch menu with vegetarian options that are marked. The staff was lovely as well! The lox mess monster pizza was awesome and the brownie!! Really great place for people that need to eat allergen free. Gluten free, peanut free, and tree nut free!!

Really good place to eat, especially if you have dietary restrictions or food allergies. I personally do not eat meat, so sometimes finding somewhere to eat, with good food is hard to come by. I got a dish called Chrissy, which was a quinoa bowl and I just loved it. I also got a green smoothie which happens to also be very tasty. I definitely recommend going in and grabbing a bite to eat if you're in the area.

Delicious, wholesome food made by the sweetest folks! My favorite spot in Columbia! If you’re in town you must try it! They do have a drive through, I like to call ahead and then swing through when I’m in a hurry. But dining in is the best!

Everything we tried - sandwiches, pizza, salad, cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls - absolutely delicious. You wouldn’t know they were GF. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!!! We love this place and the family that runs it ❤❤

This is my favorite restaurant. I live out of state and if a realtor was attempting to sell me property the dotted lime would hopefully be mentioned in the tour. I am allergic to most foods having a gluten allergy so they specifically cater their menu to a celiac and gluten free environment. All their food is outstanding in quality and presentation and I can't help but to visit every day and buy 1 (or most of the times 2)menu items every visit.

Gluten free bakery in Columbia serving all the baked goods you can stand. So many choices including biscuits, cinnamon rolls, cookies, cake, pizza and more! Take home mixes you can do yourself. Worth it for anyone not just gluten-free diet.

Did a basic search for breakfast on a weekday and came across The Dotted Lime. The gluten-free menu is a huge bonus, but the food here is large in both portion and flavor. The waffles in the chicken and waffles had one of the best textures of any Belgian-style waffle I've ever had, and the chicken they used was seasoned perfectly while also being spot on for tenderness. The really big breakfast is just that: really big. The potatoes seemed to be sprinkled with what I believe to be seasoned salt exactly to personal preference. The fluffiness of the panzzino flatbread was spot on and everything stuffed inside cooked to perfection. Throw in several options for root beer and you've got a winner. Cannot recommend this place enough. They really know what they're doing and created a space with good vibes and even better food.

While it's true this place has a menu that specializes in gluten-free and allergen free eating, you'd be hard pressed to find a restaurant that offers better tasting food and a more unique menu! My wife and daughter, who eat gluten-free, first suggested The Dotted Lime. I gave it a try, honestly not expecting too much... but I was pleasantly and hugely surprised. The menu is well done and varied, the food always top notch, and prices are reasonable. Pictured below are "Lots of Yummy Things" and the "Angry Chicken Biscuit" - your mouth will water just looking at it I bet! Tastes as good as it looks, I promise you! Their desserts are out of this world also. Cinnamon rolls should be world famous. Also tried the "Trifecta" - a brownie/cookie/cheesecake delight that makes me weep. SO GOOD. Can't recommend enough.

Food and service at Dotted Lime are extraordinary! (Dotted Lime could easily fit in East Nashville, but w/o the pretense!) This family run restaurant treats each customer like one of their own and looks out for your well being! Find gluten free and allergen free eats that is gourmet quality!

I'm not gluten free, but my wife and one of my kids are. We've been here a couple times. The food is delicious. They had the chicken and waffles. I had the lots of Yummy Things. Everything was great. We ate the cinnamon rolls so fast, we didn't get pictures!

The Dotted Lime is the best kept secret in all of Tennessee. Being both gluten and dairy-free, I had many food options available to me that I have not seen elsewhere since my diet became restricted. To be able to enjoy a cinnamon roll that looks like something right out of a bakery case was amazing! I wish their dining room had been a little bigger and a little cooler, but I guess it adds to the atmosphere. Our food was delicious and the gal who waited on us was delightful.

This dedicated Gluten Free restaurant is a gem. As someone who has to follow a gluten free diet, I am always excited to find meals other than a salad that I can enjoy when dining out. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which was delicious. My husband, who does not follow a gluten free diet, ordered the burger and house made chips. Some items could have used a little more seasoning but, overall, we were very happy with what we ordered.

Because of how rare it is to have a full menu of gluten free options, we ordered several baked goods to take with us. All were so good that we chose to order our son’s birthday cake from the restaurant. They did an outstanding job with both the cake and cupcakes. They looked incredible with the toppers we had made for our son. Everyone raved about how they were some of the best they’ve tasted, gluten free or not.

In both experiences, the customer service provided was top knotch. We will definitely be returning to dine in and, without hesitation, order cakes in the future.

I was in town and hungry, so I checked yelp to see what I like and saw the Atomic Wedge and it caught my eye because I’m a big fan of Nashville Hot Chicken. The heat on the chicken is a mild to medium, but definitely good flavor. Great customer service also.

Family friendly environment includes chalkboard floors to draw on. Dedicated wheat/gluten free facility... Reminder: no outside food allowed for the safety of those with allergies. If you need a toddler snack, just ask the super friendly staff. I ordered the Hakuna Frittata (eggs & lots of veggies) & grabbed a vegan donut to go. This place is the real deal - it's not just "good for a gluten free place," it's a packed house if delicious food that just happens to be gluten free.

Amazing gluten free restaurant! It's amazing to go to a restaurant and be able to order anything. I had the hot chicken and waffles and it was amazing!
They are also accommodating to other allergies, including soy! They said most things are soy free!

Great food, locally sourced, farm-to-table, gluten-free, peanuts-free. This is a gem of this country-side town, and highly recommend to brunch cafe. A great selection of bakery goes well with coffee. The chef has done well to put attention to detail, and cares for the food. Definitely recommend many things on the menu, i.e. palazino (their own version of great greek kind of styled wrap), the below is something different, which is the signature dish with lots of flavors. I am hoping to see this chain grow!
