I can't say enough positive things about this hotel! We had always walked past this place and would comment on how nice it was. We finally decided to give it a shot... and we are in love! The rooms are clean and beautiful, the view is amazing, and the staff are awesome. Everyone is very friendly, and the housekeeping staff work very hard to keep your room immaculate! We will never stay anywhere else!

Loved our brief stay (2 nights) here! Great location convenient to downtown. Large room with comfy beds, gas fireplace, balcony over the creek, and all the in-room conveniences. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

We were only in Gaitlinburg for one night. But it was a great affordable hotel. The rooms were clean. The office staff was nice. It was located close to the things we wanted to see and do. It’s not fancy but nice big rooms. Our room had a great view of the creek behind us with a balcony you could sit on. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Good location, rooms were clean. It was super cold so the elevator wasn’t working. The steps should have been de-iced more since everyone was forced to use them. Breakfast was…. Just ok. But everything else is good.

Absolutely amazing experience. We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Everyone at the front desk was amazingly wonderful. One night we ran out to get dish soap, we were heating food in the room and needed to rinse our dishes, and when we mentioned it to the ladies at the front desk, they immediately looked concerned and offered us some from their breakfast kitchen.

The rooms are really cute, may not be everyone's taste but I loved how they tried to theme it like a log cabin. It was really nice to sit out on the balcony and listen to the water and eat breakfast. The daily lemonade and cookies were a really nice touch.

I didn't take part in the breakfast, as I have dietary restrictions, but my partner seemed to make it work. Pretty decent but basic continental breakfast, from what I could see.

Overall this was an amazing experience for our first time in Gatlinburg with the added bonus that everything you want and need is within walking distance.

We came for 5 days and it was better than expected!

Great price, spacious room, and comfortable bed. Area is very close to everything downtown, but since it's on the back road, it is very quiet. It was lovely to hear the river and view the mountains!

The breakfast was mostly cold, but there were plenty of options, including some tasty sandwiches, which you could heat up.

Always coffee and tea available, and in the afternoon, they put out lemonade and cookies!

Being within walking distance of everything is a major convenience! Saved so much on parking fees.

Staff are all very friendly and helpful!

We would definitely come back!

This sweet little place on the river has become home away from home for us. We’ve stayed here for over 10 years when traveling to Gatlinburg. If you like boujie boutique hotels, this is probably not the spot for you. However, the location, comfort, and staff is what continues to bring us back. It’s so quiet on this end of Gatlinburg. There’s nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the river through an open window.

First time here, and it was a great stay. We had 3 to 4 per room, and it was comfortable. We make this trip as often as possible and will stay again. The breakfast wasn't anything to talk about.

Just returned from a short getaway. Everything was absolutely perfect. Room was very clean. View was perfect. Breakfast was above average. Employees were exceptional. We will be back. Ask for Julie she can help you find just the room and view you want!

This lodge is fantastic. The location is tucked away from all the touristy chaos and made it easy to get to and from without getting stuck in Gatlinburg traffic. Not to mention you can easily walk to the trailhead into the park, or get downtown. The creek sounds so nice and it's a great view of the mountains. Breakfast available is better than most hotels and offers a good variety, and they put out lemonade and cookies from 2p on + they keep coffees brewed at all times. I loved the fireplace and balcony in the room, checking in & out was an absolute breeze, and housekeeping is great.

I think my only real complaint is that there's only 1 elevator and sometimes it feels like forever to use. Overall I'd absolutely stay here again when we come out next. It's such a gem.

Beautiful log cabin like. Very cozy and comfortable. Each room has a view of the beautiful water stream and there was even a black bear living on the bank

Nice room only block from main strip. View off balcony of Ober and small river. Love the fireplace. Breakfast served its purpose.

Our visit was fantastic! The price was great, location perfect, room clean and well cared for. Loved having the balcony and the fireplace for the unusually cold Memorial Day. Breakfast was a little light but thankful there was something. Were able to check in and get our parking tag early which was very much appreciated! Would definitely stay again.

Booked this room at the last minute for an overnight stay on Memorial day weekend. What a pleasant surprise it was. Check was easy and efficient. Parking was free and plentiful. The room, which included a whirlpool and fireplace, was clean and comfortable. Location is good, within walking distance of all of downtown Gatlinburg. Definitely would book again and can recommend without hesitation. Keep in mind this is a mid priced hotel and is a bit dated. If your looking for luxury with lots of onsite amenities this isn't it. If your looking for value with a great location book this.

My husband and I loved our little getaway. We arrived check in was quick, and they were able to provide us with our requests. What was great we were able to park our car and walk everywhere. Didn't get in it until we checked out.

I have the king stream view. I still have not spent the night here yet, just got my room and have been exploring the area. So far, I absolutely love the place. Service is good with some morning food, coffee, and sometimes apple cider or lemonade. The room is clean and I can actually fit inside of the bathtub. Being 6 ft, I can hardly fit in places but the tub easily swallows me, and it's amazing. You are walking distance from everything, and that's good because if you want to park closer to the atttactions, get used to paying $15 or $20. The small things provided, shampoo, soap, even makeup removal wipes is amazing. I am highly satisfied with this 2 star hotel. The TV is nice and has a large screen, even the clock is fancy. I've been to Florida and got hotel by a beach, and it was worse than this and more expensive. Absolutely love this area

The room has a cabin feel and a fireplace as a bonus. The view from the balcony is directly over the river. The downtown area with all the fun shops were in walking distance. Not a bad place to stay.

Great place to stay, just on the border with the park. We get a room there every time we go to the Smokies. The place is quiet, and there is a brook running behind it. Awesome!

We sit on the balcony at night, eat some fudge, and drink a coke. The room prices are good, and the breakfast and service are excellent.

Update: The food is not the worst, but doesn't earn more than a 3 out of five. There is orange juice, coffee, and instant oat meal, some apples and pears, but not much more.

When we come to Gatlinburg, we go out for a hot breakfast to different places and forget the" great breakfast" at the Old Creek Lodge.

I'm not even sure where to begin on how much we love this hotel, the staff, and the location! We initially visited during the height of Covid restrictions, and the staff was awesome in how they handled everything. We visited again this past weekend, and it was even better! The location is awesome because not only is it in a beautiful location, you're close enough for easy 5 minute walks around Gatlinburg for great restaurants, but also far enough out of the way to feel almost isolated from the crush of downtown's crowds. What sold us the most was when we walked out of the door of our room onto the balcony to see and hear the wonderful creek below! It is absolutely phenomenal! 🙂
