Crystelle Creek Restaurant

It was so unique. They have water running off the roof to appear it is raining and there's an awesome view of the creek and woods behind the restaurant. The food was good. I had the Prime Rib. It was very tasty. I also had a side salad and sweet potato fries. The fries were amazing. Crispy and dusted with brown sugar. My Dad had the ribs. He said the taste was good but they had a lot of gristle. My mom had the Southwestern Chicken and said it was okay. I would definitely go again.

I was from out of town and came across this restaurant to host my small lunch wedding reception. I was beyond happy with how everything turned out and wouldn't have wanted my reception anywhere else. They were really easy and quick to communicate with which put me at ease since I had never been there before in person. Our waiter was great and they even served our wedding cake for us. They let us come the night before to decorate our party room. We'll definitely be back for our anniversary for years to come.

We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and decided to give it a try. Such a unique restaurant with the water flowing over the tin roof and splashing down into the pond filled with Koi fish. The prime rib was delishly smoked and the sweet potato fries are amazing but when dipped into whipped cream, the of over the top. Almost a funnel cake flavor. The burger was the best we have ever had and the ribeye's flavor was superb. Loved the Pina colodas and the lemon drop martini.

We had our reception there on October 14, 2023. The food and service was the best. The servers were very courteous and took excellent care of us and our guests.
We went the night before to decorate, but the party there stayed longer than anticipated.
Lori assured me she would do her best to have it looking beautiful and like I wanted.
When we arrived after the wedding, everything was more than I imagined it would be.
In addition to our dinners, we ordered appetizers for everyone to start. All the food was amazing and as I said, our servers were fantastic.
I highly recommend Crystelle Creek!! You will not be disappointed!!

I finally had a chance to eat here last weekend, and I wasn't disappointed. I think this is going to be my new favorite restaurant in Gatlinburg. I had the southwestern chicken and they prepared it exactly how I requested. I got a side salad and the sweet potato waffle fries with my meal, and everything including my pepsi, tasted perfect! I may have to try one of the steaks, next time. Josh waited on me, and he's one of the best waiters I've ever had. I'm ready to go back next weekend.
12/31/23: This time I had the filet mignon with the same sides. I couldn't have the seasoning, because it had pepper in it, but it was still good. It did have some fat in it, but not much. Service was excellent again. I may try the flounder & shrimp next time. The chocolate cake was pretty good too.

Great place off the beaten path in Gatlinburg. Simple but diverse menu that will appeal to almost anyone. The setting is very Appalachian being set back off the road in front of a creek. Very relaxing with a clean, modern motif. The cheese curds were a generous portion and delicious. Our server, Corey, suggested those and was spot on. He provided great service matching up great recommendations for everyone in our party. The blue cheese for my salad was one of the best I’ve had. Period. I ordered a prime rib which was cooked to a perfect medium. Huge serving! Parking was easy. Atmosphere was excellent. Service and food outstanding. You won’t go wrong turning up Highway 321 at red light #3 for a few miles and out of the hustle and bustle of downtown.

As a local we do not go to Gatlinburg often so this was our first time.
The outside is very unique and pretty cool almost looks like a lodge on the outside. Once you enter it’s more like a cafe though. We arrived at 8pm and there was a 15 min wait on a Friday night.
One of us ordered the ribs and the other chicken parmigiana. Wow is all I can say. The food is absolutely fantastic. Ribs had amazing flavor, fall off the bone and smelts in your mouth. The chicken parmigiana was also very good and was a huge portion.
SIDE NOTE******* if you get a salad be advised the spicy creamy Italian dressing is HOT as heck****.
Service was good and friendly.
Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone!

I had an amazing experience at Crystelle Creek Restaurant! My husband and I had our wedding reception here. The staff was amazing! They were all were so helpful and had great personalities!

The food was so delicious! All my guest were very happy, and so were we! They have very pretty views of the creek, and I loved the water that comes down on the sides of the building, and the atmosphere was relaxing! Thank you Crystelle Creek for being part of our special day! I will forever recommend you! 🙂

Food was amazingly good. Steak was done exactly as ordered, ribs were fall off the bone. Baked potatoes were huge. John, our server, was extremely professional and helpful. Will definitely return next time we’re in the area.

We went early (5 pm, because I don't like driving on unfamiliar mountain roads in the dark) and there were only two other tables. Got busier when we were about done.
Our server (John, I think) was amazing and friendly. He didn't ever seem frustrated, even when I spilled my water. ( Tables are grippy materials so nothing will slide, which I tried to slide my water out of the way.)
Food was great. We got fried mushrooms and fried catfish bites as appetizers. Husband and I both got the 20 oz steak with two sides. The Mac n cheese is good, but nothing special about it. The mushrooms and onions were delicious!
All in all it was a great place for our anniversary dinner and kind of happy our original dinner planned place was closed.

We are visiting from NY! Found this place and wasn’t sure about the food online but we truly loved it! The wine was complained about by other reviewers who must expect some insane pour because they were typical non stem glasses that were sufficient for sure. My southwestern chicken was wonderful and my partner got the blackened catfish. The waiter John was attentive and not over the top. Atmosphere and ambience a 10. I don’t eat a lot of red meat so I can’t say anything about the other entrees but we liked ours :)

Salmon was the BEST I have ever eaten. Cocktails were delicious. Garlic knots, mushrooms, cheese curds were all very good. We weee a group of 7, sat at the bar area. We were patient as there appeared to be a limited staff. Well worth the wait

The hotel staff said this was the best steakhouse and just right outside of town. She was so right! The place is beautiful and built over a creek. The food was excellent! Most tender steak I've ever had. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be back. This is not a chain restaurant and that is a plus.

It was about 5:30 when we went. It was really quiet so we were uncertain even after reading a bunch of really excellent reviews on Google.

So we stopped at the bar first just to check it out.
Decided it was worth giving a chance and grateful we did.
We had excellent service and delicious food.
I enjoyed a thick cut New York strip, Rare with outside char, and my friend enjoyed the Oklahoma sirloin medium.
Delicious salads tell them to serve it in the desert bowl the salad bowl is too small.

This place is Amazing 👏 our family of 5 had the Sirloin Baked potatoe, salad, chicken Alfredo, baked salmon, baked spaghetti, cheese curds, garlic knots, chocolate cake, and key lime pie... lots of food and lots of leftovers. EVERYTHING was AMAZING 👏 🙌 our server Josh was on it, everything was great! Fast service and all accurate. Very friendly and funny too. ALSO... try the Sour apple Moonshine 🍎 😋 it's so good

We ate here after our wedding with our wedding party, and reserved their private room. They decorated it with lovely centerpieces which we weren't expecting and had the cake we ordered from an outside bakery up on display. Our server Chris did an amazing job and was very attentive to all of our needs. They let us do a toast with champagne and let us cut the first piece of cake. The food was amazing, most people got the prime rib and were very happy. Management was also very easy to communicate with and allowed us to customize their special event menu. We will be returning next time we are in the area and would definitely recommend them for private events. They helped make our wedding night stress free and memorable!

This is an amazing place. The ambiance from the walk in to the interior and location along a creak was all magical. Our server, John, was above and beyond attentive to my table, including my 2 kids. The food was fresh and well seasoned. My husband had the Chicago steak and I had the Salmon with bourbon sauce and it was delicious. John checked in regularly and made sure we liked everything and was really patient with us! Honestly, I hope all the tourists get out of the main strip tourist trap and venture to this gem (not to mention it's a fast drive and free parking) and check this place out. It was a true, local restaurant, with an experience on its own - beautiful and delicious.

Enjoyed our food, got big portions. Wait wasn’t too long for a Saturday night. The building is very interesting and i would love to see it in the day! Our Waiter was driving by and noticed it was busy so he stopped by to come help haha ! Will definitely be coming back

Great food, service, & atmosphere. The beautiful tree caught our attention & I'm glad it did. For some reason almost every restaurant in G'burg closes early (9:00) weeknights & we happened to pull in, it was 8:50pm but my husband asked if they were still serving & they said sure & seated us which was very gracious of them 10min til closing & they never rushed us. We had a great view of the creek, large portions, fresh & tasty food, good music & wonderful service so we definitely recommend trying this place. Look for the pretty tree!

We had our wedding reception in the private room and it was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was so accommodating from booking to the big day. The fee to be able to have a dedicated server, cake cutting service, assistance with setup and tear down, and tablecloths and napkins all provided was beyond worth it!! We even brought in our own bluetooth speaker and played music the entire time. We were able to decorate the evening before since no one had booked it prior, which was perfect! Becky was so easy to work with prior to the wedding on making my vision come to light. I'd highly recommend the black tablecloths they offer and whatever napkin color matches your wedding colors. We also designed our own menu and added the filets as an option for an upcharge. The food was amazing! We also were able to have an open bar with direct service to our private room. A huge shout out to Becky, Lori, and Chris for help in making our special day even more amazing!
