Glen Alan Salon

The Glen Alan Salon is a highly recommended salon in Grapevine and North Texas. I have been going to Glen and his team for almost 9 years, and I've never had one disappointing experience. Glen and his team are highly professional, incredibly educated, and the salon's atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. For anyone looking for a great hairdressing team, I highly recommend the Glen Alan Salon. You will not be disappointed. Side plus: take a stroll or grab a coffee on Grapevine's hip Main Street just steps from the Salon's front door before or after your appointment.

I've known glen for a while now. He is a wonderful salon owner. Puts ton of attention to his salon, clients and most of all his staff with the best education. Solid place to work and get your hair done! As a fellow salon owner I give them 5 stars.

I took my mother to get a haircut and style today. Great first impression when walking into Glen Alan Salon. Her stylist was Chris and she said he was very meticulous. When finished she was very impressed with her new look and made another appointment with him. Both her and I were impressed. We both would recommend Chris and the salon.

I have only been to this salon a few times, each time was amazing, more specifically this time. I am in the process of going through Chemo for Breast Cancer, my stylist today was Natalia. When I tell you I've never had such an amazing experience in my entire life, I mean it. Natalia is an amazing stylist she did such an amazing job on my hair, made me feel better about having to go through this journey. We talked about how this treatment is going to go, everything I have to endure and she was totally receptive and understanding of my situation. Very helpful and sensitive to everything. What happened next surprised me, she didn't charge me for my cut, was totally prepared to pay just about anything she would have charged but she didn't charge me a dime. I tell you I almost cried, that was probably the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. Thank you Natalia for this amazing g experience today, you truly made my heart smile. ❤ I will definitely keep you posted on my progress and will be back for another amazing hair appointment.

I’ve been coming here for a while now, but it got more infrequent when the pandemic hit. I scheduled an appointment with Delaney after about a year of not having it professionally cut. I knew nothing about her and went it just happy to get it cut again. I left with a hair style that I absolutely adore and am so happy with. Delaney was also very kind and personable and made sure I was comfortable. I definitely recommend her if you’re coming here from somewhere else!

So, I have really long, thick, wavy hair. Because of that, I usually get it cut once year because I never really like the outcome. I have gone to 4 different salons in four years. That all ends now! After researching online, I decided to go to the Glen Alan Salon last week 11/12/19. Thinking I was going to have the usual outcome, I made an appointment with Morgan(after reading all the reviews) and I was not disappointed. I left it up to her but my only request was that she curl my hair instead of dry it straight. She chopped off about 5-6 inches while it was dry. I cannot brag enough about how GREAT my hair looks. I can't stop checking it out in the mirror!! I LOVE my new do and will definitely be going back to Morgan:) Great salon and personnel and great stylist. Thanks Morgan!

I absolutely love this salon! I found Glen Alan a week before my wedding with a terrible color mistake from another salon. Jinny was able to fix my color in one sitting between several clients simply to help a brand new client 💕 I cant speak highly enough of their commitment to continuing education, incredibly warm and friendly atmosphere, and the level of fantastic customer service.

My daughter had a hair cut with John and she was very happy with it. It was a bit pricey but worth it. John listen to her and gave her exactly what she wanted. He was very charming, funny and easy to talk to. We have scheduled highlights next month and we are looking forward to another excellent service.

I have been getting my hair done by Anna for many years and she does a GREAT job every single time! She listens to my requests, makes suggestions and I always leave happy and looking better than I expected. The salon staff are friendly and welcoming every time I come in. They greet me with a warm smile and provide exceptional customer service.

Summer did a wonderful job!!! I’ve finally found a new hair home. This was my very first time at Glen Alan Salon after more than 3 yrs w/another salon colorist and hairstylist. I went in w/three pics of 3 different pixie hairstyles, each picture showing aspects of what I hoped to end up with. Summer did not disappoint. Was very attentive and kind to listen to all of my thoughts and ideas, all the while making creative suggestions herself. My color & highlights are in a dark rich chocolate brown shade and I LOVE IT! It felt like a spa day devoted exclusively to my hair and scalp.

When I first moved to TX approx. 2 years ago, my realtor recommended Glen Alan Salon to me and I found Sarah - best colorist & stylist I have ever had! She has not only perfected the combination of base color with highlights & lowlights, but she has restored my hair's health. It is now beautifully colored, longer & shinier than ever. If you need a very experienced & talented colorist, you cannot go wrong with Sarah.

I have been going to Melanie for about 4-5 years. I always feel like a million bucks when I leave. I also feel like I turn heads as I walk out the door and have had people request my color. I have even been stopped and people have complemented on my hair when out and I am happy to give her all the credit. I trust her so much I let her do what she wants. She has fun with it and it always comes out looking natural. I get blonde highlights and somehow she can make it fit the season where it is bright in the summer and more subtle in the colder months. She also does such a great job with cutting my hair. Melanie has a beautiful heart and takes good care of her clients.

I refuse to have my hair done anywhere else. I usually try to see Jordan or Justin and at my most recent visit I saw Justin. Justin is amazing! He had so much fun doing my hair and by the end of the style we were both excited about the result. He’s honest and talks me through his process so there’s almost no room for error. I completely trust him and let him take some liberties when cutting my hair and he has exceeded expectations every time! All I really give him is an idea or direction I’d like to go and he uses his craft to bring it to life. I have yet to be disappointed with a haircut from them and I likely never will. I really don’t think you can go wrong with these stylists!

My family moved to Westlake in August, 2017. A realtor friend suggested Glen Alan Salon for haircuts. My husband went to Miles and got a fantastic haircut. Our two grandsons also went to Miles and got the best haircuts they have ever gotten (a ten year old and a four year old). I went to Glen for my haircut and style. I was so thrilled with the result. Glen is professional and so kind.

Today was my first visit at this salon and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Ricquell was my stylist and she was super pleasant to work with. She took the time to listen to my specific needs and gave great professional advice on the steps that we should take. Overall, I was very pleased with the end results and especially with Racquell's talent and professionalism. I will definitely be coming back to Glen Alan Salon.

I've been going to Kerri here at Glen Alan Salon for around a year now. I am always SO happy with the results and never have a complaint! She is able to get the right color blonde that I want (I'm SUPER picky about it) and cuts it just enough to keep my hair long and healthy. Kerri always keeps the conversation going and is super friendly each time. I go to school in South Carolina and wait till I come home to Texas so I can have her cut/color each time:)

One of the best salons I have ever visited. I highly recommend letting Kristen V. take care of all your hair needs. Whether it's a full blown color, or just a trim. She is a cut above the rest!! Thanks to Glen, and the entire staff for taking care of the customer first. Oh yeah, and I enjoyed a cold Shiner Bock while sitting in the chair.
