Wells Fargo Bank

I’ve been coming to this branch for several years and even after I moved away for a bit continued to drive to this location because I preferred it over the branch closest to me. Victoria is amazing and goes out of her way to help her customers. I appreciated her great attitude and willingness to help tackle my problem and felt like I really mattered.

I’ve banked exclusively at this WF for the last 14 years or so. Henry, Anna, Vi, Ricky and Ellie are absolutely great. Excellent customer service and very friendly. Always a smile and greeting when I’m there. Sometimes the wait can be a tad slow, but they do their best to speed it along. A lot of customers do business transactions and they just aren’t a quick process. Keep up the great work gang! Customer for life! Jason L.

I visited this branch on 5/27/2022. They were very friendly and helpful. While entering the bank, banker/clerk ask customers' name and what kind of service they need today. They respect customers and provide good services.

I'm at this bank twice a week to drop business deposits off. Bobby, Henry, Veronica and the rest of the staff are awesome and will do their best to help you out while being friendly and helpful. They have a great team here so make sure to check them out!

Victoria was beyond helpful, best experience opening up a business account. She is personal and made stress fall away. She is also very motivating. I look forward to working with her more!

I usually like coming to this bank and the people are great. That’s why they still get 4 stars...but today 3-2-19... I waited for almost 40 mins to make a deposit because they only had 2 tellers. Hire some people for the weekend. Cheap skates lol

Good location with easy access in Downtown DesMoines.

This bank discriminates against the poor and falsely advertises their ATM features. This ATM has the Quest logo but does not allow you to withdraw EBT cash due to the way the bank has configured it. Based off of conversations with tellers in the bank, this is intentional so they can stop the "wrong people" from coming to the bank. This is illegal actually and I'm reporting this to the government. Support EBT or remove the Quest logo from your ATMs -- this is a matter of federal law.

I’ve been a Wells Fargo customer for almost 20 years and have visited local branches on many occasions. I’ve never had as much of a bad experience as I’ve had at this branch. If this was a one time occurrence I would not leave a 1 star review, however almost every time I’ve needed to open a bank account I’d never be able to walk-in and do so. Even if there aren’t any customers in the branch they still have me schedule an appointment. When I call the branch, they never pick up the phone as well

The worst experience ever!
Working hard for my money but wasn't able to withdraw or deposit in to my account! Had to prove that I am working for it! And the most interesting thing was before I found was going on,,Wells Fargo at 3.30 in the morning emailed me that my account will be closed in 14 days!
Well done! Of course I don't have millions in the account, wondering if it will be a different way of approaching 🤔

I live in Des Moines and I have use this bank for so long with no problem and the people are nice all the time,but today Saturday 12/10/2016 I went in to get money order and the lady that helped me ask for what I need today,so I told her that I needed a money order for $1179.46 and without checking my account to see if my account is eligible for free money order, she assumed I don't get it free and she told me that that amount is to big and there is a charge. So she suggested I get a cashiers check she then proceeds the transaction then found out that I do get free money order and cashiers check. I wanted a money order and I knew that it was free for me I have been getting them for free. But she had already printed out the cashiers check. So instead of printing out a money order that I wanted she told me that they (landlord) Would accept it. How does she know. This is the first time I came in this bank and I felt judged in other words I had a terrible experience today. Not only that she assumed I don't get it free but she also gave me the cashiers check, I wanted a money order.
She was not professional she should've checked my account before saying i don't get them for free. She never apologized oh and by the way I have been a wells Fargo customer for over 10 years.
