Corky's Gaming Bistro

Corky's is a gaming operation featuring escape rooms, video games, pinball machines and throwing lanes where you can throw axes and other objects at a target.
Definitely a great way to spend an afternoon. Great atmosphere and surprisingly good food - the pulled pork sandwich was awesome. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. We were there on an early afternoon so being crowded was not a problem.

Always wanted to try my hand at ax throwing so decided to check the place out for lunch. Food is for prices and not a ton of food out on the plate just the right amount. The staff was very helpful in teaching how to throw. After 30 min I finally got the hang of it and was getting to stick most of the time. Then tried their crazy darts which to be honest was more fun in my opinion. But the ax throwing was I good way to get out aggravation the darts where much more relaxing so a good combo. I will be back!

Amazing place for axe throwing. They have cameras setup to automatically record scores, they have a projector setup that works with the camera to have all sorts of games to play for axe throwing. The same thing applies for darts. The food menu was decent and they had a lot of retro arcade games such as turtles in time. Unfortunately I heard this is the only branch they have and wish them the best to be able to expand further. Thanks to Wolf the axepert for a fanatic time here

So much fun. The updates to the games are really fantastic. I didn't get to try the crazy darts but it looked like the people playing it were having a blast.

The food menu is pretty solid. I most recently had the buffalo wings and fries that were nice and crispy and fresh with good portion sizes. The drink selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic is appreciated.

Having recently visited a few other Axe throwing places lately I gained an appreciation for how well sound is handled. The acoustics are fantastic in contrast to the other places where I felt like I was at a gun range. Not here, quiet and we were able to hold conversations without issue or interruptions.

As a last note, this is my update to my original 4 star review. The experience has continued to improve over the years. I updated it happily to a 5 star.

Another update: we went back for Valentine's and had a blast! Krazy Darts are super cool and worth another visit.

I was recently involved in organizing a large corporate party at Corky's. We rented out the entire facility for several hours, and had over 100 people in attendance. We worked with Taylor (Sales Manager) on the event.

Everything went very well! The staff was very helpful and accommodating for everything including planning, decorations, setup up, menu selection, activity organization, and audio/video configuration. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Everyone in attendance loved Corky's activities which included a buffet, open bar, axe throwing, escape rooms, crazy darts, retro arcade games. We also hosted a video game tournament and a white elephant. Everyone had a great time!

I highly recommend Corky's for hosting large parties. It was a great value for the money and the staff and facilities were excellent.

We did the escape room as a bachelorette festivity! It was SO much fun! We loved it so much we wanted to do axe throwing. They tried getting a slot for us but were unable to which we were absolutely fine with, but they the sale manager was so apologetic it was so sweet! My only regret is not planning all the festivities at Corky’s so we could stay longer! We’re already planning on our next visit! It was the best! Every one was so great!!

This was our 2nd time going to Corky's and my friends & I had a blast! Axe throwing was a hit, and the staff gave us a 15 minute voucher to try Crazy Darts and our entire group loved it. The food and drinks are also reasonably priced. We're already looking forward to coming back!

Came here out of town for my best friends bachelor party. This place ROCKS! Mads & Jeremy are AMAZING on the bar! Mitch is absolutely the BEST guy around! Anderson is an AMAZING axe host! And Gary the GM is just as amazing! This place is an ABSOLUTE GEM! For ANY party or just for a couples evening… COME HERE! You will NOT regret it! Thanks to the WHOLE team here. One word…. FUN! We had a company function at Corky’s Gaming Bistro. Everyone had a blast. We threw axes…. played video games…. and ate way too much food. Throwing axes was a hoot! I didn’t know what to expect, but it was really fun. The food was delicious…. and the service was great. We all walked out with a smile on our faces. I would highly recommend Corky’s!!!

First time axe throwing and took my date there! We had an absolute amazing time!

So I made a reservation, a person who worked there showed us to our lanes, taught us techniques and let us practice, giving us tips. He was super cool and patient since the other people who were there was also first timers! After about 10/15 minutes we were able to play games. I think it made our time super enjoyable because it wasn’t just all free throwing for an hour. There was games / competitions and it made it so much fun!

The drinks were good, food was good! The staff was all Super friendly and helpful! There is also an arcade side and escape room but we didn’t get to try those! Overall we both had such a good time. Great date night and definitely a great place to go with friends.

We had a blast at Corky’s! Thanks to Conner for being a fantastic host of our “wisdom” vs “young ‘ins” ax throwing competition. We old folks hung in there. This really is a place for all ages. We also enjoyed seeing Conner’s skill at ax throwing. Wow!

We followed our ax throwing session with an hour in the arcade playing pinball and old time games. My son wants to return for the escape room.

We've taken numerous out-of-town guests here and everyone loves it! The "axeperts" all have a sense of humor, making it that much more enjoyable. Casey, Conner, Noah and Caleb are truly the best! We will return! Our kids also enjoy the escape rooms and find them to be the best around.

We went here yesterday for our Team Outing at work. I had never thrown an axe in my life. I am super glad we chose this place to be my first time doing so. The Staff was extremely friendly, and the different axe games they had set up were super fun as well. I ordered the "Flame Thrower" burger and it was delicious. I will most definitely return for more good food and fun.

Went here for a work outing, my rating is for actual axe throwing because that's why we went. We had a lot of fun and the range masters at each stall were extremely helpful and fun to talk to. I'll definitely go back. The burger I had was also delicious. All boxes ticked today, thank you!

Played crazy darts, and did the jungle escape room. Both were really great. Ryan was an excellent game master providing just the right amount of help and the room felt like a good degree of difficulty. We got out, but it was close. Corkys is a great place because they have, plenty to do outside of the escape rooms I recommend checking it out

We came here for the escape rooms expecting them to be a little sub-par since they are just one attraction among several, but they were both very well done and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. We did the Jungle Escape first which is among the best designed games I've seen in the DFW area in terms of not having to use any big leaps of logic or guesswork. Very good for those who have done some rooms, but aren't experts yet. We had such a great time we came back the next day for the Jack the Ripper scenario which was a huge leap in difficulty, but our game master was clearly invested in us having a good time and gave clear hints to help us along. Props and room decor all looked well taken care of and everything functioned correctly. I like that you can make the room private for just a small added fee per person. I also tried the axe throwing before they installed their new projection system. Staff was really friendly and helped me get the basics down. I'm excited to return and try the new system. Food was good and the mixed drinks were tasty. Overall a great place to take friends and keep everyone entertained.

We came in Friday afternoon and were very pleased with our service, the food, and all the fun games. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They have super happy hour deals and a nice selection of beers. The food is house made, not frozen. Delicious jalapeño poppers, fried green beans, and burgers. I didn’t try the ax throwing but can’t wait to come back and try it.

We recently had a birthday party (fun times package) and everything was wonderful. Huge shout out to Noah and the manager. The staff was excellent on teaching and coaching how to throw axes, etc and food was a hit. Literally everything but the cake was handled here; highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

Had so much fun yesterday for my birthday! We went during the day and it was great… It’s been a long time since I have been somewhere with great customer service and friendly staff. Definitely recommend!!

We’ve hosted a church life group here in this location 3 times now and it is always a great time! The food is delicious and the old arcade games are a great way to pass time while you wait for axe throwing. The most notable thing about this place is the staff. The “axe-perts” are charismatic and make it a priority for the groups to have safe fun! Shout out to the axe-perts Jacob and this younger skinny fellow. I forgot his name but such a great guy! Thanks Corkey’s Bistro! Great time!
