Been to some quirky giant bookstores across the US, but Recycled takes the cake! Everything you are looking for & even everything you're not! Crazy creative, cool t-shirts, buttons, stickers, mugs, & all things vintage from cassettes to records. We love this place & all the things it represents! The Artsy labels & signs are tooo fun!

I went here today to get tarot cards for an art project and not only were the prices absolutely fabulous, but the customer service was incredible too. The shop is really eclectic and it's an amazing place to go whether you're just passing through or if you live in the area. There's really something for every kind of person here. The cards that I bought were in excellent condition and the decks were all complete and a very good price too.

Recycled is easily my favorite spot in Denton. You could spend hours in this redesigned Opera House. The floors creak as you move about the store with the smell of hardwood and home. As you go through the store you will enter yourself into a basement, closets, and nooks that are decorated by theme and genre. The picture taking options are endless, and feel free to etch your name into the wall of your favorite room. Anyone, and I mean anybody, can find something they will want to take home with them. From vinyls, to toys, to books, and more.. this is the spot to visit in Denton.

This is an important city institution, for all intents and purposes, for a reason. I'm quite glad at the wonderful selection of media that's here. The location is also convenient.

Beautiful treasure trove and magic palace to wander through for hours. So many books of all genres- lovely children's section and lots of rare finds. Book lovers beware- Make sure you have plenty of time. ❤

This bookstore is incredibly charming. I enjoy browsing here whenever I visit. I recently purchased a shirt from here that is one of my favorite shirts to wear now. Something I noticed the last time I went was the collection of used boardgames and old video games. I need to come back and check those boardgames more often! A lot of really popular titles in there. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. The selection is huge. Grab a couple of trinkets while you're in there to support this place. They had stickers, mugs, shirts. All kinds of goodies as well as all of the books, games, and music.

This is kind of a treasure trove of books, video games, board games, and music. If you are a collector it's got the potential to find something unique.

Also they had pogs haha.

Every thing is pretty reasonably priced and it is worth making repeat visits

I have wanted to make my way here for decades and it was worth the wait!!! I am currently in a wheelchair but I can walk a couple of steps and the staff was so AMAZING about letting me into the basement via ramp and back entrance. That made this experience even better because I could experience so much more than I thought... and there's even more I couldn't get pictures of on the 3rd floor. There was even a couple taking their wedding photos inside when we were there.... ummm, that's so randomly AWESOME and shows you how cool this place really is!!!

If you are thinking about making your way to this glorious bookstore, don't wait any longer.... just do it!!! You won't regret it!!! I know I'll be back!

Recycled hardly needs recommendation from me, but just to start with the obvious, it is the best bookstore for miles around, people treat this as a destination, sometimes driving for hours to visit. Fantastic collection of history, political science, science fiction, contemporary fiction, literature and languages other than English, kids' books, all manner of science books, and mystery. Don't forget to go into the basement!

This is what every bookstore should be. My husband loves bookstores and this one is his favorite in the area. There's a lot of selection and decent prices.

We lived in France 🇫🇷 and come here for their French book section which is almost a whole wall.

If you love unique fun books this is worth the trip.

My wife and I love this location. Looking for an obscure book you can't find anywhere else? Yes? You should be able to find it here. They also sell some video game things, board games, and a host of random items. This is also an awesome location for pictures. My wife has lived in Denton her entire childhood and this is one of those locations that is a staple for Denton.

I absolutely love this place!
Its like going into a house fully dedicated to books, although they have recorda and other goodies around. There are so many levels, nooks and crannies that I always lose track of time while I am in here, I do not want to miss anything. Best of all is the pricing! Absolutely fantastic!

When I pass through DFW I make a point to visit Recycled Books. Huge selection and friendly staff. It's a great place to find copies of your favorites authors and discover new favorites to add to your own personal canon.

This is an amazing place for a fun start of a date. At least that's what my husband and I did today. I think we spent about an hour there before we saw most of it. I grabbed two books. They have sooo many DVDs and CDs and records and the books are nicely divided by topic - music, history, gardening, movies, arts, travel books etc. They also have some t-shirts and collectibles.

Favorite book store, like, ever, with a great selection and friendly staff. I check here to get my school books before anywhere else, and 9/10 times they have at least one book that I need, cheaper than anywhere else. It's a charming place with lots of personality that I always show off the friends from out of town.

This place has it all! Awesome section of scifi/fantasy, classic literature, mystery, horror and childrens books. They even have a rare books section that you'll need to be let into by one of the staff. They had selections I'd been looking for that I could only find online. Plenty of Asimov, Bradbury, Clarke, Heinlein and Herbert!

First time here and will certainly not be my last. I managed to escape with only a small stack this time!

My first time at this store and am I not amazed by the collection and variety they have. This bookstore reminds me of Powell's bookstore in Portland Oregon. There are rooms inside another and another one inside with each category labelled well. They also have a underground section that has political , war and history. There is one second level too with fiction and other stuff. They also have a ramp section on first floor that has great vinyl records and books for music, art.
What I like about this store is if you are looking for a book or something that store sells you can request that by filling a request form. They will have it for you. One needs more visits to explore lot of books and stuff here.
Vintage stuff I would say.
If you are around north texas area and looking for a great bookstore, just head to this store. We need to support these guys for such a wonderful place.
