Z&T Chinese Cafe

Visiting from Arizona and was recommended to eat here. Though the restaurant was empty upon arrival it was very clean and the staff was friendly. We called our food in for pickup and it was ready upon arrival we only had to pay.

When we got home and unpackaged the food we realized the dinner combos were very large! You only pay about 15$ per combo and it’ll feed 2-3 people. The flavors were amazing everything you’d expect from a buffet. If you’re visiting or even just bored of what’s in town I recommend eating here!

The food here is soooo good! I love trying different Chinese restaurants and this place is hands down one of my favorites. They have a mixture of authentic and American- Chinese food which I like both. The food is sooo affordable, you cannot beat it elsewhere. The staff are so nice! Such friendly people. Must try this place!
My kids love the shrimp with vegetables, chicken with broccoli, my husband likes the egg plant with shrimp and beef and my favorite is salt pepper shrimp!

Delicious food, ordered through Uber eats and everything came in hot and fresh. Great portions and very Tasty!

Food quality is superb, and price is very reasonable at this inflationary period. Owners took great care to pick fresh ingredients daily. I order Chinese food from this place more than 5 years, never disappointed. My favorite dishes include Singapore Mei Fun, pepper steak, eggplant with shrimp and chicken, salt and pepper shrimp, curry chicken, fried biscuit, chicken with nuts and cashews. And many more.

Man Oh man! Great place for some comforting Chinese Food! My husband and I decided to try this place out as we have been tired of the same places. We decided to order to go and this is what we got: General Tso Chicken/white Rice and Orange Chicken/Fried Rice, Eggrolls, Potstickers and Wonton Soup. The food was fresh, tender and flavorful! However there were 2 things I wasn't impressed by and that was the egg rolls and fried rice. The egg rolls seem to be double wrapped and this causes the egg roll to be very bitey and tough to get through. The fried rice was as simple and plain as rice can get, no signs of egg or veggies. Also, I wish they had more of an inviting dining area. I would have loved to come inside and enjoy a meal but it's nothing special. My suggestion is to livin' up the place a bit if possible, maybe add some decor and photos! But overall, this place is fantastic yall! We've already ordered to go a few more times and will definitely be doing so in the future! Oh and I can't forget the staff who are so friendly and kind!! We are so happy we found Z&T Chinese Cafe!

Decided to order from here right after we moved into our house nearby. I was amazed at the size of the wontons in the wonton soup and the food was hot, fresh, and there was a big variety of things to chose from on their menu. I've never dined in, but the carryout and the delivery is always fresh and prompt. I like the ease of ordering online as well. Five stars for sure!

The most WONDERFUL service I have ever had. The lady at the register is so sweet and called to make sure my delivery order was set properly and that the food was great (which it always is!). Staff is great, food is phenomenal, it doesn’t get better than this!

Z&T Cafe has great foot and friendly staff. We've never dined in and usually get take out. Food has always been fresh and without issue.

My go to Chinese take out place whenever I need a quick meal. The place is super clean, food taste and quality is very consistent, very reasonably priced. Not once I've been disappointed.

I've been going to Z&T's for years and they never disappoint.  My husband and I have been so many times, that they sometimes already know what we are going to order. The staff is very friendly, the food is great and I've never had an incorrect order. A time or two in the past, I've tried other Chinese restaurants.  Silly me... because they never have added up.  It's a bit of a drive for me but Z&T's is always worth it.

Super fast delivery of very good food.

Order was done on time, the lady in the front was pleasant and the food was very good. The only thing I can say that's even close to negative, was the food portions were just a bit small. No big deal but the food was good and I wanted more. Lol

We decided to dine in. Food was fresh and hot. Kids are super picky yet couldn't help mentioning home good their food was. Pricing was good especially seeing how great our meal was.

We have bought Chinese food from Z&T Chinese Cafe for 6 years now and it is simply the best. Great flavor and great prices. Simply the best Chinese-American food in the Houston area.

We have been ordering from here for years. Great customer service and great food. Consistently good. We usually get delivery or occasionally pick-up. I'm embarrassed to say how often we get it delivered but very often.

We love this place. It's our go to restaurant. We've been dining here for years. Food is very good and authentic. The price is amazing. We used to eat there all the time before Covid-19, now we just do takeout. ** Friendly staff **

Food is amazing. Such large portions always left overs for later. I try something new everytime and it’s all good. The sweet and Sour shrimp and crab rations are my favorite here
