Jon at the information table is awesome!

I came in with only 30 mins before close, trying to get some books for my grandma.
He not only showed me where the books she liked were (with reference pictures of other books she's read), but he also helped me find new books by each author.
I have not looked for books in years and felt completely lost, but Jon helped me find the books quickly and efficiently with time to spare! Thank you, Jon!

Warning: anyone addicted to reading should stay away! I found too many awesome books here. I had to buy a suitcase just to get them all home on the plane. It was hard to choose which books to get, because there are so many awesome books at great prices! Also, this is probably one of the largest bookstores in the world.

Just stepped in for the first time today. A few minutes into looking at cookbooks, I was greeted by one of the employees (Melissa, I believe) she was friendly and helpful and was even able to find a book for me that wasn't at this location but the one in Richardson. I wish the cafe next door (La Casita) was open, but I heard not until April or June. The place is huge and I wish I could have spent more time. Felt like a library I can buy from. :)

The best selection of adult coloring books around. Amongst anything else your heart desires from a half price books location. Plan to stay several hours longer than the typical trip.

Half Price Books Store truly embraced the holiday spirit with a delightful surprise – a Santa photo op! I was thrilled to find affordable treasures among the vast selection of books while my kids eagerly posed for pictures with Santa. It's the perfect blend of festive fun and fantastic deals. Kudos to Half Price Books for adding that extra touch of holiday magic to the book-hunting experience!

I adore secondhand bookstores. It's awesome for a nostalgia trip and just a fun treasure hunt on its own. I can easily burn hours in here, especially as this is the flagship store! I'm lucky to live nearby it. The place is absolutely massive. Huge selection of books, vinyls, collectibles, you name it. The little cafe inside is a nice touch as well. It's not fancy, but it's a cute spot to sit and get a refreshment or two. It's got such a nice energy overall and it's super roomy. You'll have plenty of spots to sit, but come on, who comes to a bookstore and sits at the tables rather than on the floor by the shelves? 😝

I, Frenchaire was offered a Local Author spot one Sunday last month. It was an awesome opportunity. Grateful for the managers Kiki and Allen who organized the event for me. Melissa was so kind in calling Allen to the tables. Everyone was friendly, kind and delightful. I am grateful to have shared my books with the store. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Grateful for the experience.

On other visits to the store, when I need help finding books, I love how the employees walk me to the shelves to find the books not just tell me where to find them.

This is the best HPB I’ve been to yet!! I’d say twice the size of the Austin North Lamar location which was very large. Very nice bathrooms, HUGE selection of books, games, puzzles, DVDs, vinyl, and much more. Clean, well lit, ample parking, easy location, tables and chairs to sit a spell…. A definite recommendation!!!

(I didn’t feel comfortable taking pictures inside due to security cameras everywhere and other patrons privacy- but I really wanted to take loads of photos to post for google maps)

The past few trips (2020, 2021, and 2022), the store was looking a bit... empty. (In 2020, when I visit in June, I would say about 40-50% of the stock was gone. Hard to stock shelves when they weren't buy but were shipping out).

But now - THEY'RE STOCKED TO THE GILLS.
I found some mysteries, some movies & TV disks, and almost complete my collection kf Star Trek magazines.

It's always an adventure going there - and often times, an adventure to see if my purchase requires 2 bags or a box (or two).
(2 VERY full cloth bags this time).

2023 Visit- Still fully stocked. And very pet friendly. Saw 4 different dogs I want to pet.

This is the flagship store. Very nice inside, lots of room, beautiful, nice displays, and lots of inventory. There is a small exhibit devoted to the first Half Price. Go see it.

If you are visiting from somewhere else, let this be a required visit.

Wow!!!! What an amazing bookstore! We’re visiting from New York and bought an extra bag to take books home on the plane!

You can never go wrong with half priced books, any of the locations. They buy ,sell and trade practically everything. This location is the biggest I have experienced so far. I love book stores and Libraries and so naturally, I had to stop in. The store was inviting and clean. I could spend a whole day there and still not see everything.

The LARGEST HPB I have ever been too! So many books to look through. A great place to find your readings and to study. A pretty cool date spot to be honest.

Absolutely loved it. It is gigantic it has a café. It has a large comic section large record section large video section I get lost in this place all the time and absolutely love it. I love all of their areas I do wish they had a larger interior design area but that’s perfectly fine with me. I still love the atmosphere.

Used and new books plus music, games (both video and tabletop), movies, gifts (puzzles, cards, calendars, socks, backpacks, etc). They also have older formats like 8track, cassette, vinyl, VHS. Prices reasonable. Coffee shop in the corner and seats/tables scattered about for perusing or longer stays to study/read/relax. Always busy on the weekend and seems to be a popular spot for a casual date. FYI, you can visit the info desk to see if they have the exact book you want. 👍

Neatest store I have seen. The inventory and selection is tremendous. The largest store of any Half Price Books. You will need a long time to fully enjoy this massive store. The employees are so nice and helpful, including Reagan and Colby and a nice lady who helped us find cd's. So fun. Great store. Will definitely go back.

A book lover's paradise! Strolling through the seemingly endless stacks of books, records, games, and more is always a welcome way to spend an afternoon.

The selection is vast. The staff are informed and helpful. All in all, worth a visit. Be prepared to get lost looking!

Huge location, I love it. The staff is always helpful when having difficulty finding a book. If it's a popular one they always have a display of new copies readily available when no used copies are in sight. I find myself looking for excuses to go. Also noticed last trip that they do events there too. Book readings, board games etc. So...that's cool.

Their flagship store does not disappoint. Great place to find old or new books...... just about anything. Old games, mugs, stationary. Highly recommend you visit. It will take you time to go thru their extensive inventory.
