Excellent food. I love the Honey Chipotle tacos. . I have cilantro lime rice and sautéed vegetables. Mmmm. Sandra was a great waitress. Updated: in November I had Chicken Tacos Al Carbon, cilantro lime rice, black beans, and sopapilla. Excellent way to go, Z, our waitress today

Been awhile since visiting this location and I can say they have improved. Staff was amazing, food was very good and we enjoyed the loyalty rewards program changes. We had taco, sour cream enchiladas, chicken fajita Monterey with chips and Queso...

We were sat quickly in a comfy booth. Our table host was friendly, fast to very efficient! We didn’t really have to wait for anything to long. Drinks to chips, salsa came out promptly. As soon our glasses were down to less than half another drink was brought out. The food was fresh and hot. The salsa was a bit spicy but it worked well.

I had a long and exhausting couple of days and needed a good sit-down meal before I drove home. I picked On the Border because Mexican food sounded good and I always enjoyed visiting my local restaurant.

My waiter was nice and helpful. The chips and salsa were excellent, and I'll go one step further... I think On the Border has the best chips and salsa among the chain restaurants. The chips are thick and crisp with a great taste. The salad is absolutely delicious.

I ordered the steak fajitas. It came quick and hot. The fajitas had a great taste to them. The peppers were crisp and sweet. Even the beans and rice were good.

My set-up had Pico, lettuce, and cheese. I was disappointed that it didn't include guacamole and sour cream. I don't remember if that's a new thing or it's always been that way, but I wish that was part of it.

I was starving when I ate here, so take that into account, but this was my best meal at an On the Border ever, and I usually enjoy my meals there.

We ordered catering for work and they knocked it out of the park! The food was delicious, our delivery man, James, was so gracious and helpful setting out the food, and he even brought each employee coupons. It is single-handedly the best food delivery we have ever had. Thank you, OTB!

I have chosen this restaurant 3 times now since moving to Denton less than a month ago, and they have not disappointed. The first time was from UberEats delivery on our first night here, the second time was with our family that came to visit us while we were getting moved in, and the third time was as a mini-date where we just simply didn’t feel like cooking. Each time, we have tried a different meal and have not been disappointed. Their chips are perfectly crispy and don’t have too much oil or salt. Their chunky salsa is fresh and delicious with just a touch of slow burning heat. Their queso is very satisfying as well. We will continue to be regulars here, and hopefully get to try their margaritas and other cocktails next time we stop in! (Pictured is their Queso Mesquite Chicken).

I sat at the bar and had the soft chicken tacos. They were solid! Good stuff. Plus, they have just the best bartender (Jeff). Great drinks, great food, great place to have dinner for one.

OTB has always been a good go to restaurant. But this new menu is not your grandmothers on the border they have really invested in stepping their menu game up by including all kind of great food items....like Birra tacos, more grilled fajita options...Steak and shrimp and there are even a few healthier food options....and whoever was in charge of the drink items need to kiss...

Went in after lunch, and it was not busy at all. We got to enjoy our food with no interruptions. The food was fresh and hot, and the service was fast and polite .

The service was great! We were greeted quickly upon arrival. I tried the $6 Liberita.
Our server Adriana took good care of us she recommended the queso chicken and it didn’t disappoint. It was a little busy but the food didn’t take long

As always, great food and great service! I got a Sampler appetizer! All the flavors! Yes!

Jessica and AJ were awesome. I’ve been gone for 20 years and this place is where I’ll be bringing my clients thanks to these two ladies. I’d recommend another $500/week for each of them.

We love stopping in here for a quick lunch or dinner. Food is always good, but the staff here is especially phenomenal. It is rare these days to see an entire group of servers be this happy, helpful, and conscientious with each other and with their customers, especially mid-lunch rush. We see you and we appreciate you, OTB crew!

Omg!!!!wow Me and Husband and a few friends came here to eat a have some drinks our bartender was Shay she made us feel so welcome she make’s amazing drinks if you ever go here ask for her we give them and her 5 stars

Everything exceeded expectation. Food prices were really inexpensive. Service was great. Best part was I had to make myself stop eating. It was really good. Try the cheesecake for dessert.

Friday night about 7: and we got right in. Place had a good crowd, but the service was good and the food was out quickly. We sat in the bar area, but there were a couple of tables available in the dining room too.

Food was good and so were our drinks. Waitress took good care of us and was always there when we needed her to be.

We absolutely love the food here. Our server was Kyle and he went above and beyond to give us great service. We dined in twice this week and our food always came out hot and fresh! Can't wait to come back.

Another good experience. Enchiladas were good and the queso taste great.

Makes great margaritas. Especially skinny Margaritas. The day bartender is one of the best! So this part was my last post.

Last night, my boyfriend and I went up there, and the bartender was HORRIBLE!
We sat at bar for about 10 minutes and there was no bartender, so finally, my boyfriend got up and went behind bar and got us some waters.
The bartender came out about 5 minutes after and asked who helped us, and we said ourselves. Then he disappeared again to the back.
Finally, he came back out and ignored us and started watching TV.
We had to ask for chips and salsa. Then we asked for extra salsa and never got it.
He was too busy running his fingers through his hair (Yuck) and watching TV.
Then he left the bar again. The manager came out and started talking to some regulars (I assume) and the bartender stayed behind the bar.
We had to ask for a menu. Then we had to get his attention to order. He took our order and then went back to watching TV or talking to the same couple as the Mgr was talking to. We never got our extra salsa. I had to again get his attention to get silverware. He never checked on us, and our waters were empty. He didn't come back and ask if we would like a drink or fill our waters. So we flagged him down and asked for to go boxes and left.
We did leave a small tip. But he didn't deserve one at all.
If he got irrated about it, well..... your tip reflected on the service we received!
