Dozier's

We had a great experience at Dozier's. We had the moist brisket, pork ribs, sausage, sides of Texas caviar, and potato salad, and they were all excellent. The moist brisket was exquisite with a smoky flavor and seasoning. The ribs fall off the bones as one would expect, and the sausage was terrific. The staff were amicable and told us how to order as we go down the food line - cold items first, then the hot items. We will go back there to eat again. Love this place!

Fulshear used to be a sleepy little community, now more than 25,000 people call it home. This huge influx of people could be because of Dozier's. Seriously they serve some geat barbeque and chicken. Had a meat meal of half a chicken with two sides, a german potato salad and baked beans. Other meal was barbeque tips and an egg potato salad. The fountain drinks are Texas made and use cane sugar. This is a must stop.

When I arrived in Houston, I couldn’t stop thinking about BBQ, it is just a necessity when you’re in Texas! I just had a bit of a hard time choosing where to eat since there are really a lot of BBQ restaurants around the area. I heard about Dozier’s so I searched it on the web and got really curious.

Everything was so good in Dozier’s! The brisket, the ribs, the side dishes, everything! The fall-off-the-bone meat melts in my mouth which is oddly satisfying and mouthwatering. Their brisket also has a wide range of options like brisket on a biscuit, brisket hash, chicken fried brisket, and more! I couldn’t try everything because there’s a lot. Well, at least, I still have reasons to go back. Haha!

Walking in, you get a waft of sweet smell of smoked meats, but contrary to my expectations, the place was very clean kept and organized. It's the right balance of comfy homey and maximized space. The staff were very friendly to explain the process and we're happy to answer any questions about the place even the most tedious ones such as where to get the silverware. The seats and atmosphere were really accommodating and nice and the food was really up to par or beyond other bbq places I've visited. Would visit again if I ever need to suggest someone who hasn't tried Texas BBQ in the past.

Our go to BBQ Joint in Houston hands down. Jim is the pit master at Doizers bbq and all his food is just on point. The weekly specials are amazing especially on Thursday with the brisket enchiladas. Don’t pass up the spicy cheese sausage as well and that potato Salad is delicious. If you want a true small town bbq feel this is the place to go. The atmosphere is amazing, customer service is in point and you feel like family right as you walk through the front door. Definitely will be back.

Great BBQ here. Delicious bbq, sides and friendly staff, they even brought our dogs some chopped turkey and water while we sat on the patio. The dogs loved it and so did we!

What an amazing lunch. Really just kinda baffled, as to why it has taken me so long to make my first trip over here to Doziers BBQ .

As you walk in the door and approach the counter. The history of this establishment just smacks you right in the face. Pretty much every nook and cranny screams small town living, family, and good BBQ. Not only are they serving up some outstanding BBQ and sides. They run a full scale meat market and processing facility. House made sausage and bacon, are just some of the treats you can bring home to satisfy the family.

I was able to enjoy some brisket, a couple ribs and absolutely the most amazing collard greens I have ever had. I just couldn't put them down. They are so good I may have cussed when I took my first bite. Everything was cooked spot on, with plenty of flavor and did not disappoint.

Also not a bad day when Anthony McDonald gives you a tour, shares some knowledge, and let's you drool over the Moberg Smokers .

One of the best brisket (lean) I have tried!!! It’s unique flavor. It’s an hour from me but I happen to be in the area for work but it’s so worth the drive!

Ed Dozier is/was my uncle....his second wife was my mothers sister, I'm sure during Covid sales declined....then the sale and purchase, plus expansion and the new six figure salary owners drove it in the ground just like any other business purchase/merger....it should have been left just like was before Ed Dozier passed....I'm sure it'll be torn to the ground to make room for another General Dollar Store or smoke/cbd store....of course with Bidenomics all lil business will be devoured/demolished. The little town of Fulshear TX and surrounding small towns has truly lost a landmark built by one man his wife, and his dedicated long term employee's....lost to business men and the power of greed and money. Also, I see their beautiful house on corner was turned into a business that will prob fail as well....Just one mans opinion! James Jordan

I Love this place. I’m from Mississippi and bbq spots like this are a little slice of home for me. The food is amazing and the choice of meats is great. Highly recommend.

Absolutely top notch barbecue to be found in this meat market/BBQ place. The store itself is cool, with meats and jerky available in addition to fabulous smoked meats. The brisket was wonderful and savory, the ribs were fabulous, the boudin was Louisiana quality and the jalapeño cheddar sausage terrific. And make sure to get that mustard to dip the sausage in. You won’t regret it.

Ribs were excellent. Elote was delicious. Im visiting from canada and Doziers was the best and Logan was so friendly. T

Good stuff in a neat location. Enjoyed my meal and got some bbq to go. Friendly staff and clean environment with old school charm on the inside and plenty of colorful seating outside.
There is a full meat counter filled with all sorts of butchery and smoked sausages and shelves filled with salsas, seasonings and sauces.
If I'm in the Fulshear area I will definitely stop in again!
Closed on Monday but open Tuesday through Sunday!

Efficient, staff isn't overly friendly buy the new management has made improvements to the bbq and fixins'. There's always places to park and you can dine in or take it to go. Very casual environment and the meat market is top notch. I recommend it.

I wish I thought about taking a before picture but my mouth was drooling. Get the pork ribs and thank me later. Great BBQ

I just wish they had posted prices on the meat market and store side. Saw lists of yummies! Grabbed a few fresh beef jerky for road snacks. They were so delicious. Brings back lots of happy memories with jerky that's not mass processed and or packaged. And I love the ambiance!!!Thanks guys!!!

I’ve tried brisket all around Houston first time trying Dozier and I can hole heartily say it’s the best brisket I’ve had. Ordered a pick up order cause my wife was craving potato salad (which was also amazing) but wow thank you guys

Still by far the Best BBQ and Jerky. To be honest...Even Better now that they have a patio and live music.

One of the best Q joints I have ever experienced. Staff was very friendly. Prices were fair and porting size was more than enough. Food was great! Brisket was jucy with just the right amount of smoke and bark. The hamburger was done perfectly. Definitely a two handed burger
