Chuckwalla Climbing Area

I don't climb! But, we were walking on the trail that goes by the area. It's very close to the parking lot, so it seems pretty convenient. I could hear instructors helping people learn to climb. This photo is from 12-11-2021 - nice weather. :-)

I don't climb anymore but love to stop and watch as I start down the trail. Nice spot as it's close to the parking area so the climbers don't have far to carry their ropes and gear. Not suggested during the summer as the rock face picks up a lot of heat. Also another climbing area on the trail towards Beck Hill.

Fun climbing spot with a good number of worthwhile climbs. Farmer’s Tan is my personal favorite.

Lots of varied levels of climbing in this area. I would go before the sun hits the sky in the summer though. The wall is facing the west and it gets pretty hot.

A very nice little walk. you can see an arch here as well. Not as dramatic as some you find in UT, but some great geological formations and a quiet little hike near town.

This is an awesome place for a bike ride, hike, rock climbing or general exploration. Make sure to take water if head out during the warmer season.

Great spot to catch a few laps with insanely quick access and friend locals!

Such a fun hike! Easy for the kids.
