Friendly and amazing Torta. My wife's eggs were a great portion. Salsa is great and bursting with flavor.

Great hole in the wall mexican joint. Food was delicious, portions were massive and the prices were well below what you'd pay elsewhere. Stopped by here with some friends for the first time earlier today. I ordered the beef/chicken fajitas which were tasty, it was so big I couldn't finish it all and it was only $12. I'll definitely come back.

The food is alway good to us. They were busy when we arrived but we still got our food in a timely manner.

I was visiting for an Easter event nearby and my family decided to try it. My parents got a huge chicken & beef fajita plate, my boyfriend got 2 barbacoa tacos & a chicken burrito, and I got charro beans and barbacoa tacos & nopalitos tacos. Everything was amazing. The barbacoa is a little greasy, but good flavor. The nopalitos were my favorite and the charro beans were bomb! No one had any complaints. It’s authentic Mexican food. Even my boyfriend who is first generation Mexican said he was really impressed. Do yourself a favor and try it 😋🤤

Came in for a quick lunch and was immediately met with a waitress who took care of us. We ordered our food, which cane quickly and was delicious. I haven't been here before but heard great reviews. Taqueria Torres lived up to the word of mouth. We will definitely be back. Thank you guys!

Great tasting Mexican Food!!! We were just passing through the area and decided to look for a restaurant to eat at. We picked this one and I'm glad we did. The parking was tight but the food was excellent. For the three lunch tacos I got, I'm happy I was able to mix-and-match.

I have lived in Alvarado for almost 2 years and just now trying this hidden gem!
We ordered takeout and got the Chicken tortilla soup(DELICOUS!) beef fajita quesadilla, and chips and "cheese sauce dip" with salsa. Everything was great, and the lady who helped us was so nice!

I used to eat here twice a week when I lived nearby. It's been awhile since I came in but man... I realized how much I miss this place. The ceviche is awesome and the tacos tapatios didn't disappoint! Salsa is great, good kick to it. I highly recommend this place

This place is amazing!! I got the carne asada and the soup and I couldn't finish it all. The server was super kind and got us everything we need in a timely manner. I will definitely be going back again

The place was very authentic Hispanic food and I enjoyed my enchiladas! The place had a very homely feel and I recommend this place! Service was excellent!

The food was really good! We both had the lunch specials, they gave us two beers and one Margarita and one Coke for free, (happy hour). Chips were hot and hot sauce was spicy and tasty. Someone else got the fajitas and it smelled so good! Definitely worth the stop. Our bill was under 12.00!!

My husband and I ate lunch here on Saturday 7/29/23. It was very good! The portions were generous. We were just in town for the day. I highly recommend them for real authentic mexican food.

The food was delicious! I had the shrimp cocktail ( a little spicy, I don't do any spicy food) but the flavor was amazing! The service was very good.

Really good beef fajitas for a pretty decent price. The employees were all friendly and I’ll definitely be back to try some other items.

This restaurant is connected to an EZ mart in Alvarado Texas.
The employees have to park right behind each other. That leaves about 3 parking spaces for it's customers. So most people have to park at a donut shop and a pawn shop if they want to eat and be able to leave.

Friday July 21st, 23
To about 3:30 . Walked in and sat down for dinner. There were 2 waitresses working I guess. Because they saw me sit down and waited for one of them to bring me a menu. They would look at me then just look at their phone. This went on for 20 minutes. A Mexican male comes in and one of the waitresses gives him a menu immediately. As I start to get up to walk out. One of them finally goes to the counter and gets me a menu. I just told her that I waited long enough.

Great place to eat. Food is wonderful and even better service. Thursday is $7 fajita plates!!! 2 Free margaritas. Only issue is not much parking.
