Los Primos Méxican Restaurant & Cantina

The cheese enchiladas were simply amazing. The salsa and chips were supreme. And the ice tea was nice and strong and delicious. Would definitely go again.

This was such a pleasant surprise! The food,service excellent. Had bolero and chile rellano both were very tasty! The rice was very nice just try it!

This place had the most tender and delicious fajita meat my wife and I have ever eaten. Food was excellent. Will definitely be going back again and again

Los Primos serves THE BEST chips, hot sauce and authentic Mexican food you've ever had! We were amazed at how delicious each item was, plus the service was outstanding. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Stopped by for dinner on a Sunday around 4pm we were greeted immediately there was no wait at all to be seated the service was very friendly and quick we ordered our drinks took a look over the menu and ordered in 10 minutes or less our food was freshly made and ready to enjoy the waitress Amanda was so kind in explaining items on the menu to me and adjusting the meal to my picky needs lol 10/10 would recommend the atmosphere the service the food and the pricing is all on par 😀 we will certainly be returning for another great meal!

Los Primos is great! We had lunch at Los Primos and they allowed us to bring our dog! Because we had our dog, we had to sit on the patio - which is covered with fans and is very comfortable (even in Texas in the summer). Our server was attentive & friendly, and she was able to make good recommendations for our tastes. The queso, chips, and salsa were good to start with. Two of us had the "Tiger Enchiladas," that are awesome! Basically, they are cheese enchiladas topped with fajita meat and cheese; of course, they came with rice & beans as sides. One person had the floujitas and even though the name implies "small," the meal portion was generous. My gf had a half-order of combo fajitas, and according to her, they were fantastic. The half-order was enough for her lunch and she took home enough to eat them for dinner too. The group had several different drinks: a piña colada, frozen mango margarita, frozen strawberry margarita, and a "Breaking Bad Blue Margarita." The unanimous consensus is that they were all fantastic! The next time we are in Glen Rose, we look forward to eating at Los Primos again. Thank you!!

We went to see The Promise in Glen Rose. So we stopped here for dinner. The waitress was very helpful with making selections. We ordered and waited for our drinks. They serve in large glasses which I prefer. My wife ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, I ordered the Primo Platter and a order of Corn tortillas . Came out very hot and fresh with chips. My wife’s chicken quesadilla was huge and almost an inch thick, the salsa and guacamole was very fresh. My Primo Platter was very good I had to try all the sauces with the enchiladas, My suggestion would be the White Sour Cream Sauce which has a thick cheesy feel to it, not runny at all. The waitress forgot the flour tortillas but we did watch her make fresh ones on the tortilla machine and bring them to us. I believe almost everyone that ate there around 5-530pm attended tonights performance. We met 10-15 people out there at intermission of the performance that we seen at Los Primos. Very good dinner and friendly staff. Thank You for adding to mine and my wife’s date night

10 out of 10! I got chicken enchiladas covered in sour cream & they’re the best I’ve had! my boyfriend got them chicken chimichangas covered in sour cream and absolutely loves them.

They treat you like Family. You can anything and they will do it! I asked if they could charge my phone and they did. I love how there is a valued atmosphere in this place.

I love this place and if you want to experience a wonderful meal try the Molcajete. I've never had a meal with this much exploding flavor.

I realize that this place has received a few so/so reviews. My experiences here were all very positive. My daughter and I have been here a number of times while we were in town over 3 weekends (she was doing her SCUBA lessons not too far from here) and always enjoyed ourselves. The menu is typical TexMex and I have had their chili rellanos, fajitas, huevos rancheros, and carne guisada and all have been tasty. Service is good and they are pretty attentive. There is a little cantina on the opposite side of the restaurant but full menu is served on either side.

So the wait staff is always amazing and smiling. The owners are hard working wonderful people. The food has always been good. My favorite is the chips and hot sauce. I totally recommend this and it is the best Mexican food in town. Plus if you drink they have an awesome bar.

If you only pick one Tex-Mex place in Glen Rose to eat, this is the one! Their Handmade tortillas are delicious. Service was so good and all the food was the best we’ve had in a while! They have a full bar and an extensive drink menu as well. Very family friendly, clean, & authentic. Very very hot food/plates when they arrive (and it’s fast too)!

Great food and great service. Marissa did a great job taking care of 8 of us. My wife and I shared a half portion of el Molcajete. I couldn’t believe we finished it. It was delicious!

The food portions were great and so was the flavor. Great price for kids meals. The carnitas enchiladas were very tasty.

Bibi's platter was great! The tamale was really tasty, and I am picky about tamales.
It was really crowded Sunday at lunch (which is a really good sign), but we were seated and waited on promptly.
This was our second visit, and will definitely go back again.
Almost forgot - the chili rejeno was awesome too.

The photo is the license plate on a Corvette. I guess Chevrolet couldn't figure out any other way to attach the front license plate on a $80,000 + car.
About Los Primos, excellent service and food. We got a plate to take home for the next day. Best Chile relleno we have ever had. Great margaritas too.
