Sexton Mill

Both kids and adults had the most fun at Sexton Mill this week!
There was a limited menu but honestly that helped us decide quickly.
3 pizzas- cheese, meat lovers, supreme were delicious. Kid cheese quesadilla was the best we’ve ever eaten (we have eaten a lot over the years), potato w/brisket was so yummy.
Full tummy, great beverages, awesome atmosphere, we couldn’t have asked for anything better!
The kids loved sitting outside and playing while we waited. The live music was great.
This place will make me want to return to Glen Rose for another visit.

Fun little gem right on the river. I bring my son each spring break to Dino Valley and some how have never seen this place.

Love this down home place. Great atmosphere. Katie can make your drink or pour your beer with a smile. And the food, wow! Got a brisket pizza and it was awesome. Definitely recommend.

The service was outstanding we were a large last second type group. The staff was fast paced, courteous, respectful, and the establishment remained clean. The food was great. Definitely worth going back. Breathtaking views of the river, they also had pool and darts.

We can from out to town and I looked up this place and decided to give it a try. This place has a great,wonderful friendly people, everyone was so nice and so kind. We sat by the river and had great views, the whole entire place was just so uniquely done and has a great story and history behind it. Wonderful area for sitting outside. Our waitress Brittni was super sweet and so knowledgeable and had such a sweet smile. The bbq was amazing!!

Great BBQ!!! Everyone was friendly and inviting. This includes the staff and the Patrons! Beautiful view and live music 🎶. Fire pits!!

The food. It's just amazing. Even the grilled cheese for my son was so good. Next thing, the cool factor of the place. A couple pool tables, indoor outdoor very open seating, next to the river, and even axe throwing. We just stopped in there to grab some lunch before going to Big Rocks to mess around.

Had a great time! Came all the way from Aledo, Texas on the motorcycle to this it out. It was worth the ride.

Great riverside location, good food, great service, live music. Love the family & town history. Have been back twice.

We stopped here for food after being in the car for a couple hours. It was a great spot for our preschooler to explore the river bank and play cornhole without being confined to the chair. The pizza was amazing and the employees were so kind. The owner even stopped by for feedback about the atmosphere and food. We will definitely be back in the future!

The most awesome place! The owners are so fun and friendly, food is awesome, and the servers stay on top of everything. We are so lucky to have found this place, the vibe is great!

Sexton Feed Mill is a must-visit restaurant in Glen Rose! The BBQ is great, the beer is cold, and the live entertainment is always on point. The converted open-air feed mill creates a unique and fun atmosphere with a full bar. The outdoor seating area overlooking the Paluxy River is a great place to enjoy a meal and drinks. With axe throwing and pool tables available, there's something for everyone at Sexton Feed Mill. Don't miss out on this fantastic spot. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my overall experience here. There was a bartender chick who gave me some good recommendations for food. I do wish they had local drinks. I’m just glad I was able to find something tasty and opened late in this town.

What a great experience. I came down for the weekend from Austin and fell in love with the location. A great place to come on a nice day to enjoy music and a relaxing yet thriving atmosphere. Will definitely come back!

Best place I’ve probably ever been in all of Texas. Place is amazing. Worth a trip for the weekend not only to be here but what’s around. Great way to enjoy life and be happy

I was there to celebrate my birthday yesterday April 13. The food was amazing. Prices were awesome extremely cold beer. All hands were on deck yesterday and Gabe was extremely five store service. The kids enjoy the view from the outside from playing corn hole, visiting the river to ask, throwing and playing pool, the owner made us feel so welcome thank you and we definitely will be back ASAP

Atmosphere and service are great ! The food is pretty plain and the portions are small for what you have to pay , very expensive!! Good place to drink beer will never order food there again.

Sexton's is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal! If you want a spot that is unique to Glen Rose - this is the place to visit! The original feed mill has been converted in a fabulous restaurant featuring live music, pool tables, axe throwing and corn hole. We have enjoyed gatherings with large groups of family and friends on numerous occasions. Food and drinks are top quality! I highly recommend their BBQ! Some of the best!

Great experience and ambience. Friendly staff and ice cold beer. Couldn't ask for anything more. Bartenders we're friendly and engaging and never left me with an empty bottle
