Delicious! This place is a must in Glen Rose. We came for a getaway and were blown away by the food. My husband got the special of the day: taco salad, tortilla soup, and cornbread! So very good! The dinosaur on the table was perfect!

They are very nice! Food delicious! They have little shops from local people selling candy, coffee, clothes and other items that’s supports veterans and abuse victims.

Everything I have had here is amazing! (And I’ve had most of their offerings.) I especially recommend their baked potatoes. They are the best I’ve ever had! A must visit when in Glen Rose.

We got one chicken salad sandwich and one tuna salad sandwich. Both were amazing. The almonds in the chicken salad made this one of the best I've had. The portions were just right too. The sugar biscuits were also perfect. Not too sweet, which I prefer. If I'm ever back in the area I will make it a point to stop.

Absolute winner of a place on all levels. Service, atmosphere, food, price...everything. Just a gem of restaurant in Glen Rose. Worth the 1 hour drive from my mom's place! First visit to Texas a few months ago I had Chicken salad and Pimento cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup. Hands down one of the best meals I had in Texas.

On my next visit I had to show my wife...and they didn't disappoint! I had the tomato basil soup again, with lasagna, and she had avocado toast and the tomato basil soup. She loves good avocado toast and said this was the best she has had. We all left happy and full!
Can't imagine visiting Texas and not coming here! Highly recommend!

First time at Sugar biscuits and loved it! We got the day's special, Beef Stew with a salad and corn bread muffin. The stew was full of tender beef and vegetables, the salad was fresh and packed with feta, pecans and raisins and the corn bread was fresh and delicious. Look forward to returning! Friendly, efficient wait staff! So warm and inviting inside.

Unique diningroom, good service, but the food really makes the trip to Glen Rose worth it. The presentation of a simple Tuna salad sandwich and great flavor hit the spot.

Great little surprise to find the variety on the menu and such a cute place! Loved the house salad with chicken salad added.

The food here is SO good. It’s got a very friendly environment as well. Always my first choice in Glen Rose! Nobody around has “down home” comfort food like Sugar Biscuits, but I appreciate there are lots of healthy options too. You can tell they use really high quality, fresh, ingredients-and you get huge servings for a really reasonable price. Highly recommend. The attention to detail and high standards of this place is on par with any high-dollar bistro in Dallas. I LOVE the daily specials and the chicken salad on a big croissant! Also the pimento cheese, loaded potato soup, and the tomato basil are the best I’ve ever had!

I have just had the best experiences here with food and the service- you should absolutely come! AND there are casseroles you can take home for your family that makes weeknight dinners so simple. Everybody loves them.

Adorable atmosphere & super yummy food! Limited menu which is ideal, they really focus on good flavors! My children enjoyed the kids meal option as well! Will definitely return next time we are in Glen Rose!

This place is an absolute gem!!! Everything about it is perfection. The ambiance is charming and inviting. The dècor is exquisite and every detail about the place is an invitation to stay and enjoy. It feels like a Hallmark movie! When you enter, it's like walking into a different dimension where there's only beauty and goodness. The food was incredible! Each dish was full of flavor, satisfying, well executed and freshly delicious. Everything tastes homemade from scratch and the owner's love and passion for high cuisine shows. The staff showed the utmost courtesy and friendliness. I will be visiting again and hope they have a long and prosperous life in the town. Nobody should bypass the opportunity to try this marvelous place!

Attended a wonderful Christmas party hosted by sugar biscuits. They had an amazing appetizer table. Everything you can think of made into the biggest charcuterie board you've ever seen. Our entree was a choice of Cornish game hen or prime rib. Both were melt in your mouth delicious! Then dessert! They had a pumpkin cheesecake that was to die for! Amazing atmosphere. Amazing service. Amazing food. They also provided a piano player who played the perfect mix of Christmas hits and soft jazz in the background. This place was absolutely wonderful! 10 out of 10 would recommend them!

Edit: Thanksgiving sides and desserts were great. As always, top notch quality and service.

I loved that this place have it's own essence!
They have a small dining and a small space where they sell different curiosities.
The food was very good. You can tell that is make with good and fresh products. We tried the chicken salad sandwich and the cheese & pimiento panini (I loved the chicken salad mix, very rich and fulfilling)
Go and try them, I recommend it :)

This was the cutest little eatery! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and a baked potato. I planned on taking a picture, but once I saw the food I ate it before I could. I will be back! The server was super nice. I wish I remembered her name. Excellent service, and decent price.

I cannot recommend this place enough! We came after a long morning at Dinosaur Valley State Park, and this food hit the spot! My 6 year old devoured the pimento cheese panini, and I had their baked potato with their pulled pork on the side. Everything was delicious, and if you want a nice, relaxing place to have a good lunch, this is your place!

Absolutely amazing, I love everything about this place. The food, decor, the hospitality. The tuna salad sandwich is delicious! You can't leave without trying their amazing sugar biscuits either, I can't leave without taking a dozen home! 100/10 do recommend if you want a nice place to eat with anyone in the family.

Oh my goodness. So so good! Sandwich and pasta delicious. Healthy portion. I saw the salad bar too late to order but walked over and that’s what I’ll try next time. Got the strawberry shortcake to go and it is wonderful! Do yourself a favor and visit next time on GR square. It’s just really good.
