We had a such a great dinner here with our kids. Everyone was so nice. Atmosphere was great, overlooked the river. Food was amazing. Will definitely come back next time we’re in town!

We had Easter lunch there yesterday! It was great food as usual, we’ve eaten there many times & always enjoyed the unique food & the drinks are awesome!, The chicken & pig appetizer was delicious & the drunken chocolate cake is seriously addictive (service is superb & the whole place is spic & span ) oh try a whipped lemonade or maybe 2.i had seafood paella/ spinach& Benny had 1/2 pound burger topped with Mac & cheese/Snyder fries & we brought home enough to have a second lunch today! Delicious again!!!

The view was incredible! Food was amazing and very reasonably priced with large portions! Would definitely drive back out here again

Had to update since our recent visit. This was our 3rd annual visit. As in the past absolutely loved our experience. Wish this place was closer to home. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Spent our anniversary in town and ended up here twice. Food, drinks and service were excellent. They can even make spinach taste good!! We will be back.

Food was great! Staff was friendly, only reason for a docked star was one of our party ordered one thing and got served another but they kitchen was closed. But she enjoyed the wrong order!

The food is amazing and sitting on the patio above the river was so relaxing!

What an awesome place! If you’re looking for a quiet spot to enjoy a great meal this is the spot for you. Scott was amazing and we will be absolutely be back!

We have eaten here now at least four times. The food is delicious and the chef and other employee are friendly and helpful. You can eat inside the Inn if you want something more formal, or in the tavern if you want to watch sports or just be casual. The setting is lovely....It is directly on the banks of the Paluxy river. Often on the weekends there is music as well. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Great place and wonderful wait staff. Drinks were amazing. Learned a lot of local history from the staff.

I would highly recommend stopping here. Great ambience, friendly, professional, and prompt service, to go along with delicious food. Treated our dog as well as they treated us. We’ll definitely be back next time we drive through.

I was disappointed at first, because the menu was not what was posted on their website via a QR code with daily updates. I was not disappointed with food we were served. My husband and I both ordered the ribeye. They were cooked to perfection and delicious. Very friendly staff! The owner was there and we had a great conversation with her and learned her story of owning the Inn and the Tavern. Thank you, for a wonderful evening!

Best old fashioned I’ve ever had. Incredible location and ambiance.

Great place to check out. Maybe have a drink or grab a meal near the rive. Shrimp tacos and all of their bugers are good folks that work here are even better than the food. This is a very cool place to grab lunch or even a drink

We were here tonight to enjoy a drink and the view of the river. Unfortunately we had barely ordered the green curry chicken, pad thai, and goat cheese wontons when our hotel called to say we needed to return to the hotel. We quickly switched our order to take out and the staff were incredibly flexible. They got our food to us very quickly and we were on our way. As disappointed as we were to have to leave, the food was Ah.Maz.Zing! Thank you to the staff of Snyder’s Tavern for being so accommodating and kudos for the very good food-it was fabulous, even sitting on a hotel bed. We will definitely be back because we missed the pineapple upside down cake.🍍

The food is absolutely amazing! (As is the service!! The wonders went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed! They were so fun to talk to!) The menu was fun and the drinks were eclectic. A truly great place to have a wonderful meal in a nice, comfortable environment and a gorgeous view of the river and the massive oaks!

Great food, nice atmosphere and good service

My wife and I were looking for a place to have drinks on date night and we found Snyder’s nestled away behind Inn on the River and right on the Paluxy. To our pleasant surprise their food was excellent as well! We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, friendly tavern to go enjoy the evening!

Fantastic food and service! Ordered the shrimp and grits as well as a kids cheeseburger. Everything was very tasty and the service was fantastic. Kitchen went above and beyond to accommodate a request I made. Highly recommend!
