Very welcome and generous hosts. Not too busy on a Saturday. The food was very fresh and nice, the waffles, pancakes were freshly made for sure. The fish plate was good and the portion size was big. We were 4 people, ordered 3 items but we
Could not finish them , had to bring back food . The only thing which was not tasty was the mixed fruit bowl , especially mixing cut-up bananas made it a weird combo.

First time here and so many good choices and everyone really enjoyed the food. I was glad to be able to get breakfast at night time. Service was fast and we had a great server. Will look forward to coming back when in town.

Great spot for breakfast! We have eaten here twice on a week day and had a great experience both times. The staff is super friendly and we got fast service. The portions are good sized and we left full both times 😁

We ate at Big Cup Eatery after running the Mammoth Race on October 14, 2023. We brought our solar viewing glasses with us to see the eclipse. We brought our dog with us, so we sat outside on the deck. The servers did a great job. And the food was delicious. We will be back!

Happy we chose to eat lunch here. The Big Cup Eatery has a great selection of dishes including breakfast all day. We had BLT, house salad, orange juice and coffee for lunch. Delicious food, great service and atmosphere.

Biggest Biscuit in Texas, or so they claim. It was pretty good but I've had better. We had eggs and Bacon and pancakes and they were all good, way above average check it out!

One of our favorite places to have breakfast for dinner in Glen Rose, TX. I do the choose 4 breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, ham and a pancake. Hubby usually does the chicken fried steak and eggs or the omlet. Service is good, but occasionally slow. But, for good hot fresh food I have to have a little patience and I understand that. It has a cute bar area as well and we've had a couple of drinks here.

I read many reviews AFTER I visited. Thankfully, I read them after because I wouldn't have eaten there.

The food was exceptional, the service was great, and the time to get our food was longer than a fast food place. But IT WAS GREAT! Do yourself a favor stop and try the food. I will be back.

Excellent. I had the breakfast enchiladas, which I’ve never seen on a menu before and it was delicious. If you get a chance, stop in. Oh and very friendly staff.

Had the catfish and French fries and hush puppies and it was amazing! Chip and salsa are on point to! Have i mentioned that they deliver not just on service but quality of food as well! One of my favorite places to eat! I also love the Chilaquillas Mayas with Verde salsa and thier jalapeño bun is so amazing on their burgers!

This place has excellent country breakfasts. They called themselves the home of the big biscuit as you can tell from the picture the biscuits are about 4 in they are big tasty biscuits. The service was over the top and a price is very reasonable. Best place in Glen Rose I've found to eat. I highly recommend it.

Great restaurant, the food was amazing the service was great as well. Prices were pretty amazing too, I live in Houston and there’s no way you can get that much food in any restaurant in Houston for what I paid here. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

Well we have been sitting here for 30 minutes waiting for our food... that seems a bit much, it's not that busy.
It just showed up, there are 6 of us.
Eating and it's delicious!! Totally worth the wait. I especially love that they give you the option to have avocado as your side.
Their grilled veggies are scrumptious

A wonderful eating place, we had supper and breakfast, at the Big Cup. The food was delicious and a generous portion. The service was excellent. Their fish dinner is great. I definitely give the Big Cup a ten, and if in the area, will go again.

We met some friends for breakfast and the food was really good, prices were amazing and the service was very good. Met an older gentleman who we discovered was the owner. He was there working even cleaning up the tables. What an excellent family owned and down to earth place to enjoy a good meal with friends or family. If we are ever back in Glen Rose this will be our first choice for breakfast.

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE AT THE TOP OF THE LIST OF ALL BREAKFAST LOVERS!!!!! The owners are onsite and actually sat us, CRYSTEL (our waitress) was a true sweetheart and the other staff was super friendly. We originally ordered the chicken fried steak (perfect seasoning NOT FROZEN) bread amazingly, three over easy eggs, hash browns where fresh shredded and a to die for fresh made sourdough jalapeno roll. Breakfast quesadilla ALL FRESH fillings BUTTTTTTTTT it was the Biscuits and Gravy "plate" that caught our 👀👀👀👀 THIS THING IS HUGGGGGGGGE!!!!!! PERFECT AND I MEAN THE BEST EVER FRESH HAND MADE BUTTER BISCUIT (yes I had to use a salt shaker for size reference ITS BIGGGGG Y'ALL and a fancy serving boat with handmade gravy. This hidden gem is definitely a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ cafe tucked in the hill country of Texas WOW is all I can say

My partner enjoyed her chilaquiles dish very much; it looked amazing!

The biscuit we ordered was huge and very yummy. The coffee was very solid for a dinner, and very plentiful!

Next time we are in Glen Rose we will be stopping back by Big Cup Eatery for sure!

Amazing food and excellent service!! We had the bacon and cheese fries as an appetizer and fajitas for mains! Would definitely recommend it when you are in Glen Rose.

My husband had the chicken fried steak. It was really good. Real potatoes the gravey was good not too salty. I had the Senior fried fish with mixed vegetables. Some of the best fish I have ever eaten. Light and flakey. With a crispy crust. Service was great. Still took a while to get our food but worth the wait.

Parking lot was crowded, went in, glad we did! Sign said biggest biscuits and they meant it! Great menu selections! Large portion breakfast, with great service. Honestly can't wait to visit again on our next visit to Glen Rose.
