Storiebook Cafe

Very cool cafe in Glen Rose. Staff friendly and inviting, and food tasty. I had grilled cheese and bacon on sourdough (yum) wife had grilled ham and cheese on crescent roll that she enjoyed. We had our lunch in the children's room since we had our grandson with us. We played a few games and enjoyed our time here. I definitely recommend this cafe!

Great Glen Rose lunch stop! Fun atmosphere, delicious food! I had a fantastic chicken salad sandwich, also the clubs and wraps looks great. They had a fun little kids’ hangout area!

It was absolutely delicious had the ABC along with roast beef and cheddar sandwiches. The ambience was breathtaking so we enjoyed our lunch and look forward to coming back.

This cafe is a gem! So happy we found this place for lunch! It is great for lunch after Dino world or Fossil Rim, perfect play room for kids right next to your table !

This restaurant is fantastic for family meals! The kids can play dress up while they wait for their food and then they get dinosaur shaped sandwiches with great options like apples with caramel dipping or carrots with ranch. The food is wonderful as well. This was my second visit and I thoroughly enjoyed the wrap! The setting is cozy and warm, the staff is pleasant and helpful and the prices are more than fair. Highly recommend!

Great ambiance! Part cafe, part book store. Cute kids corner. Service was very friendly. Peach tea was perfect for a hot August day. The Reuben sandwich cannot not be topped. Greek salad was fresh and flavorful. We will definitely return!

What a little gem! Our options are very limited when we travel because my 8 year old daughter and I have celiac disease. We were able to order gluten-free sandwiches that were delicious!! I had a reuben and my daughter had a grilled cheese sandwich. The staff was cautious about cross-contamination and we did not get sick. So thankful for this place!

This place was awesome! Food is great and the desserts/pies were amazing! We got in with like 15 mins before close but they were so kind and gracious! If you’re Glen Rose, visit Storiebook Cafe!

Very cute shop. We had sandwiches and coffees. The service was friendly and quick and the sandwiches were great! Loved all the books. And the goldfish in the soup was adorable.

The sandwiches, wraps and soup we had were delicious 😋 and Thank you for serving great ice tea in a large Mason jar.

Storie is busy, she is a hoot and the food ROCKS! Enjoy playing games, and reading books while waiting for your meal. Don’t forget you can still buy the books

3 generations of family ladies went for last day getaway before everyone went home North & South of here. Great day and shopping trip.

A charming bookstore and cafe. Great for all ages.

If you're and adult with children this is a great place to go. Good eats and toys to keep your toddlers entertained while you eat or while you read one of their many free books. Very friendly staff and a great eclectic atmosphere.

Food was great. Very quick service. Neat old building with interior stone walls. Play area for children inside. We will be back.

Such a nice little place! Very fun for adults and kids alike with dinosaur shaped sandwiches! They are also a bookstore and coffee shop with fun games to play on all the tables. Last, but not least, the food was excellent! Reminds me of McAllister's, but better!
