Green Pickle Grill

We stopped in today for lunch while exploring the area. Had the fried pickles and some of the best we’ve had. The staff were so friendly and the service was the best.

If heading to Glen Rose or just passing through you should stop in at the Green Pickle Grill. Burgers were amazing and the fried pickles too!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Amazing food and the staff is just as wonderful!! You will NOT be disappointed here! Small town cafe with a huge pack of flavor. Burgers are delicious and the beer battered mushrooms are even better! Chicken melt is just as good!!! Amazing! If you are visiting and need a delicious lunch...make this place a mandatory stop!!!

The best fried pickles ever. Just the right amount if spice. Hamburgers are 1/2 lb. and taste great. Super service in a great small town diner.

Stopped in for lunch while on business trip. Staff extremely friendly and very cool interior. Ordered the green hatch Chile and cheddar burger with bacon. One of the best burgers I have had in quite some time. Bun was crisped up on grill and the hatch Chile flavor was awesome along with the super juicy burger. Fries were fresh cut... great place and look forward to stopping back in to try some different burgers and the onion rings.

Cute and yummy as it sounds! From the outside signage, café name etched into sidewalk, antique front case housing all kinds of pickle merchandise to the huge, tasty burger, it is such a great place. Make the effort to take a short side road off the main highway to try their fried pickles or any one of their menu items. And their iced tea is freshly brewed which is a must in my book!

Food was great. Good hand made burger patties, cute restaurant and staff was very friendly.

Stopped in wanted to support something local on our way to dinosaur valley. We expected beer but that was our bad not reading any reviews or online info. But who cares, food was delicious and came out piping hot. Service was so good, very attentive and very sweet ladies. The gravy served with the tenders was our favorite ever and my patty melts bun was perfectly buttered and toasted. Wish we had tried the fried pickles

Fantastic place with great food and quirky humor in a historic building.
The food is so well prepared and they are ready to modify (a.k.a. go bunless for gluten intolerant folk).
We will be in a pickle if we are in Glen Rose and don't go to the Green Pickle!!!
As their sign says, life is like a pickle... Relish it!

Can't believe it's taken us so many years to discover this place. We stopped in before our trip to Dinosaur Valley. They have a cozy dog friendly outdoor area under beautiful huge trees. Food was great but I have to say thank you to the kitchen manager, Jeff, for his kind help in jump starting our car. Thank you, Jeff, for the food and your kind help in our time of need!

Ate here the other day for lunch and got the mushroom swiss burger. Service was quick and friendly and food was delicious despite how busy it was!

My only two concerns is its very tiny inside and definitely harder to find seats if you’re a bit plus sized and I think the burger could have been seasoned a bit more. But definitely want to return!

One of the best burgers I’ve had. Will return on next visit to Glen Rose for sure!

Support local business! Good food, unique atmosphere and friendly service. Everything is made fresh so it's a bit of a wait - 21 minutes for us last visit.

Great little place in downtown Glen Rose. We had good burgers, fries, onion rings, and fried pickles. Everything was tasty and hot! Service was good and nice little atmosphere. Check it out if you’re passing through!

Delicious burger and fried pickles! I stop here taking my son to Ft Hood. Good service and we sit outside! Don't forget the pie!!!

I had bacon and swiss burger and BF had bacon, blue cheese, swiss and chipotle. Hands down been the best burger I've had. To quote the BF "the best A-dollar sign-dollar sign burger in a long time. Will definitely bring the kids next time we come to town.

We loved this little restaurant! The food was wonderful, our customer service was lovely and the prices were great! One of our favorite places that we've discovered while passing through!!

It was lunchtime and we were leaving Dinosaur Valley State Park. Looked at restaurants and loved the name. Boy are we sure glad we came here. Staff were very courteous and friendly.

Burgers are delicious. They were having a computer snafu and we received a free order of their fried pickles. Boy were we glad we did. They are easily the best we've had. Definitely worth ordering. It's a good thing we don't live nearby or we'd be regulars.

Absolutely phenomenal! The staff are some of the nicest people dare I say in Texas. Very welcoming local restaurant and amazing food! I normally don't write reviews like this but it was too good not to! I can't even express in words how amazing the food is as well! If you're in Glen Rose, go to The Green Pickle, you won't regret it at all! Phenomenal.
