Surfside R.V. & Resort

This is True Pride in ownership and pride in staff! You can tell the love and care that goes into this Park. It’s pristine! It has a great location close to sandcastle beach access where you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas. Golf cart / bike rentals are in walking distance. Some reviews mention too many rules but instead think of it as a consistent quality check for cleanliness, safety, and consideration for other guests. If that’s not what you value then try something else - but for me this is a fantastic RV park.

It was a great week at this park. The owners are so friendly. The other people staying in the park were so very nice. Very well maintained, clean and very nice. The spots have plenty of room. It is very close to the beach. Just a wonderful stay for a week. We will be back.

Wonderful campground close to the beach! We have stayed here the last nine years as winter Texans! We love how friendly everyone is here. Many activities and potlucks during our stay. Clean laundry and shower house. This is our home away from home!!!

I can’t say enough amazing things about this place! My husband and I were traveling with our 5 y.o. From Houston hauling our 5th wheel and trailer with a golf cart this weekend (Memorial Day weekend). Our truck’s transmission went out in the ferry line. We called asking if they knew any tow companies or anyone on site who could help us. They immediately started asking around and gave us some names. We were able to run into two groups of amazing humans who helped us with the golf cart and trailer and the 5th wheel without asking for anything in return and refusing to accept anything we could offer (besides cold beer and some amazing venison backstrap). The property is clean, well maintained and the pool is perfect for after the beach! Thank you Victoria and Rosie for all of your kindness, compassion and assistance! We will definitely come back and recommend to all!

We visited this RV park over the weekend. They were quick to respond and have a spot ready for us. The park is clean, the amenities are great. We really enjoyed our time there. We plan to return! We’ll be back!

Centrally located within walking distance of the beach and local shopping, this gem of a place ticks off all the boxes for an enjoyable stay. Well kept facilities and grounds, a welcoming atomsphere, and a great community of Winter Texans that return year after year are a testiment to why this place is so worth staying at. We'll definitely be back!

Nice park in a good location. Very clean. Pool is great. Only negative is the spaces are pretty tight but that's standard for Port A.

Quaint, private owned park, lovely pads, clean nice showers, laundry room, hot tub and pool, community center and planned group functions communication was great, friendly great staff, wish my stay had been longer will definitely reserve and stay here again. Nestled in a nice location in Port A convient to beach and shops and restaurants.

We love this place!! Victoria is very friendly and customer service is the best, always! Everytime we visit Port A, this is the place we stay with our RV everytime! So close to the beach and town attractions. We recommend this place 1000%!!!

Level concrete pads, reliable utilities, and just a couple blocks from the beach, so waaay less sand but still walkably close. They have some common need items in the lil store, and there is also a RV parts store within a couple blocks, just incase you need anything else.

We stayed for 5 nights, in our camper. We were so happy that the bathrooms next to the pool were nice and clean, as well as washer/dryer to keep up with our towels. The pool was warm, but it was still nice when you want a break from the saltwater! The area was well kept and maintained. The location is great as well, very close to restaurants, shops, and the beach! We will definitely be going back!

Can’t beat the family friendly atmosphere, paired with the fantastic location. We felt very safe with our toddler and 5 month old baby here and loved that it was smaller than the giant Pioneer park.
The owner can be seen around the premises and you can tell she takes pride in the property. Even the dumpster is enclosed inside a mural painted storage type box. It’s the little things!
We will be back next year, no doubt.

Update as of 3/21/2024:
We still continue to frequent Surfside. We have been here each year at least once a year. It is still perfect for our little family, which is now consists of 6 and 3 year old girls. They continue to impress us with their customer service, prompt email or phone replies, and overall beach friendliness. They have customers for life with us!

Surfside Rv & Resort is the best RV Park in Port Aransas. With it's manicured landscaping, clean and spacious bath house, large rec hall, and beautiful pool/hot tub area, it's the perfect in-town location for RVers. The park is within walking distance to the beach (5 min) shopping, fast food, liquor stores, dining and more!

This is a very nice and clean rv park. The spaces are close and no shade trees, but nice and well maintaied. They are concrete spots with a small strip of grass for a "yard". The pool, bathrooms and laundry were all nice and clean. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Port A!!

Our second year staying here. Nice place family owned. The pool wasn't as clean as I would like but they were busy and it's the middle of summer so keeping up with everything can be tough. Won't stop us from booking next year.

We have been coming to Surfside R.V. & Resort for years. Our favorite place to stay in Port A. Very clean, well manicured sites, privately owned, great staff. We love it here. Very reasonably priced.

Broke in our new 18-foot RV on a 1-nighter at Surfside and had a great time!! Rosie was very good at getting us set up at a perfect spot. Restrooms and showers are very clean as is the pool and spa. Only 3 blocks from beach make it ideal. We'll definitely return!!!

This was our third time staying here. The resort is fantastic. Pristine place! Clean bathrooms, showers, pool and hot tub. Rosie and the rest of the staff are so accommodating. Very Family friendly.

This is our 2nd time staying here, this time for 30 days. We love it here! It's quiet & clean, and only a few blocks from the beach. We had an issue with the electric hookup and they came promptly on a Sunday morning and fixed it.

I was really glad that I chose this RV park to stay at for the week. It was not crowded but very quite. Nice grass lots next to the concrete pad sites. The pool was relaxing. As mentioned by others the staff was very friendly, the park well maintained and the bathhouse/Laundry clean and comfortably cool. Would stay here again!
